As a former Ballet Dancer, I've tried to do some of the challenges... The girls' pirouettes looked easier on the video but those are really hard; especially because while I turned, my head needed to spot on the floor and that can get you to fall really easily, so I needed it to readjust my balance. I failed this challenge really badly, NOT EASY! To hold the leg at the back (Arabesque in Ballet) is also not easy but I was able to manage better. To hold the leg at the front while standing on a Yoga Block? man that was HARD, because the standing leg did not have the facility to move to adjust the balance Thank you for a LOVELY video, I had a lot of fun trying these, Happy New Year!

That was so much fun to watch, thank you! For the front leg hold, boy's foot doesn't fit on the yoga block, his foot is much longer than girl's foot, so it's much more challenging for the boy to balance on the block. Maybe he could get two blocks attached together [length-wise] next time :)

This episode reveal something that I struggle with in the Chinese culture that was very evident in this episode. Seeing women as second class citizens. No matter how talented and intelligent they may be. The guy in the judging panel gave extra chances to the guys and made excuses for them. When the girls were the ones that had won several more challenges. And to top it off they change the ending to give no credit to the girls. Very sad to see this specially with the values that this movement Is trying to portray. Hope one day soon this changes in Chinese culture.
