I loved this and I think one point to stand out is that Kristen as the vocalist didn't overdo her parts, they gave the vocalist simple looking but elaborate movements, focusing on the waist rythm. I think that's very thoughful from the choreographer since Hwasa mostly sings live, and that helps the performer keep her voice steady.

after watching jams choreography like 100 times i’ve noticed that it has so much room for hwasa to improve and add her own spin on things without seeming out of place. hopefully that’ll be a selling point for her when choosing between dances.

BEBE's hand gesture was inspired by the fact that the number seven in Korean is pronounced the same as the number seven in chili. It's not just a cute gesture.

JR has been making significant waves on TikTok, especially since the 'Latrice Click' dance. Their filter for Hwasa's challenge has been immensely popular, with over 3,000+ uses, dwarfing the 1Million team's 66 uses. Beyond Hwasa's personal preferences, it might be wise to consider leveraging JR's rising popularity. Folks are fussing about all the floor parts, let's not forget last season. Remember? The winning team tweaked their choreo in the final video. She could do that with JR. They really got the performer's back, especially with all that dancing and singing going on.

Can't decide between 1M, JR and Bebe. I love 1M's choreo, can definitely see Hwasa dancing it, but I feel like I've seen this choreo before, nothing new. JR's is fresh and sexy so yea. It suites Hwasa and something we haven't seen before. Bebe on the other hand, has a cool-err approach to the song and who knows, maybe this is what Hwasa is looking for this time.

Is it just me or when you see the teams perform the song, the song sounds different each time? With 1Million, you hear the melody more versus Bebe, you can hear the beats more profoundly

I agree about Wolf Flo struggles with majority of the missions because the challenge dance styles are not their strong suit; they don’t fit in the box for kpop style or more sharp strong movements. But they are amazing at the freestyle battles, majority of the members are freestylers. Nonetheless i love their unique movements. But they only survive because of the elimination battles. ❤

I reallyyyyy love JR's choreo and to me, it best represented the vibe of the song, totally agree with you about the build-up and drop into the chorus being super satisfying! I think it would be probs be the easiest for Hwasa to perform whilst singing as well! I would love to see their choreo chosen just to move away from the whole 'making catchy chorus choreo so it goes viral' thing, but obviously that's a huge part of this show, so I feel like 1Million might take it for that reason :/ I can already see people doing those chorus moves (myself included lol) JR felt like a whole performance piece rather than a stand-out chorus motif and filler moves, but I guess it depends what Hwasa is looking for? I also really liked Lady Bounce too! It actually felt a lot like something you'd easily see on a music show already, but it might not be interesting enough to win, especially compared to the other groups. Really excited to see who wins this one! ^^

Jam Republic choreo is VMA(Video Music Award) quality standard. Very classy and sexy just like hwasa performing in international award event.

since its almost kpop award season i feel like jam's choreo would be perfect for an award show since Hwasa likes to show out. Bebe was good but it felt like they ddnt bother to take the artist's persona into consideration when making the choreo. 1M was pretty good. For ladybounce something felt like it was missing i dont know why. Wolflo might just go home on this one

I'm not sure if anyone offered a potential perspective on 1million's choreo in that it's very fitting in the context of korean food culture. the first move (the one that feels disconnected) is referencing fanning your tongue bc you ate something spicy. chili peppers in korea can be very spicy so they're fanning the tongue because it taste like chili/spicy but they just put the hand in a different/fancier position. And the pinky in teeth move that's similar to SWF 1, I completely hear you there, and I didn't even notice it until you pointed it out. But the reason I didn't make that connection was because I immediately thought 1million was referencing 'gochugaru' or red chili flakes which are commonly used in korean food, especially in anything spicy. so it's normal for people to get flakes stuck in/on their teeth and people use their pinky, in a similar but not as elegant fashion, to pick it out. that's what I thought of lol So I saw all of 1million's moves through a lens of how those connections could be made to korean food/chili culture. BUT STILL very similar to season 1's key move but that was purely based off pulling from american black/AA influenced culture. 1million's is still AA-coded tbh but also seems more culturally appropriate for the context if that makes sense.

To be fair with deepndap they had arguably their best team performances of the show in it.

This is a neck to neck battle between 1M and JR for me. 1Million might get picked because their point choreo for the chorus is 'marketable' for dance challenges. However, Jam Republic's overall structure is better in my opinion. I love how they maximize the stage as well as the interaction between the back-up dancers. The floor work also makes total sense because Hwasa have done that in her previous singles. Hoping for Jam Republic to win this because I'm curious to see how they (especially Kirsten) will direct the dance performance video. For sure they'll incorporate international flare on this one.

I think out of all the reaction’s I’ve seen to swf, yours would have to be the best I’ve seen .. your honest and not biased to any crew, you give good criticism to each choreography and the dancer’s which I think is needed for each performance’s .. cause you know not everyone’s favourite crew or dancer hits it every time and that’s okay.

Personally I really like Bebe's choreo because its so clean. But I don't think hwasa wil choose that bcs it not really her style😅 also the choreo will be exhausting for hwasa considering she always sing live

I was actually expecting a lot more from mannequeen. Redlic is a seasoned and highly experienced choreographer. Plus adding on Funky Y & Buckey who are more focused on choreography making in their dancing career(At least for buckey she's pretty much letting go of her krump battling era and joining the choreo realm lately), i was kind of expecting them to showcase a lot more diversity of input from the 3 choreographers. But from the choreo itself, this just screams Redlic trying to impersonate Hwasa and not representing the other 2 choreographers style nor Hwasa completely. It just felt so Redlic and not Hwasa. Maybe i was just expecting quite a lot from mannequeen but they're very underwhelming in this mission. I wish Redlic would incorporate Funky Y's specialization in floor work choreo cause we all know hwasa love a good floor performance and buckey's strong fem choreo as well, cause it is quite similar to Redlic's colour that it could be very much complementary. But aside from that, i don't believe Mannequeen would be on the losing side with this one. It's mediocre but it's not the worst cause they still have a strong foundation for kpop choreo and its structure but just not as attractive as 1M or JR.

I think Bebe's choreography is more on tiktok friendly which every tiktoker can do anywhere. LadyBounce and Wolflo are underrated. Bebe and JR has socialmedia impact.

I feel you on wanting a little taste of waacking from MQ! Those fast snares that happen during the transitions in the song looked like THE perfect moment for at least the dancers to do some whaacking and I feel like it would've only improved the framing of center/the overall choreo dynamics.

1M is straight up Hwasa, but JR is no doubt channeling Rihanna. JR made me feel like I was watching a Fenty show, especially with Kirsten’s outfit. If I’m not wrong, Hwasa’s very inspired by Rihanna - which might be a big factor for her choosing JR because it still gives Hwasa vibes, but Hwasa 3.0?

1 million was spot on

It’s a KPOP Choreography mission where they have to adjust to suit the song and the artist since this piece would be performed by the artist themselves. Those crews with distinct styles like Mannequeen and Wolflo could not really integrate their style more into the song because it should look “marketable” and it may not suit the artist or the song. With Mannequeen I was kinda underwhelmed because of my expectation with Redlic since she made a lot of good choreographies with various KPOP idols with nice imagery and catchy chorus. I just wished she used more imagery to look better. With Wolflo, it did look kinda messy but they did integrate their style in the choreo but I think it made the choreo not clean. With Bebe, it looks too complex for a kpop choreo and it does not suit the artist hwasa and the song. Ladybounce did okay. The top choreos would be 1M and Jam Republic. Jam republic is the best choreo overall but I would give this to 1M. The point choreo of 1M was great, it is catchy and easy to digest by the general audience.

I feel like I’m the only one who actually likes Wolf’Lo’s and doesn’t like 1 Mill’s.. For me I don’t remember much from 1Mill other than Harimu’s outfit.. With Wolf’Lo I was actually able to follow “Hwasa” along.They intentionally made it so that the dancers are actually back up.I’m proud of them they have improved so much, they come from a line dance where you have they have to be the spotlight to learning to disappearing in the back, I think Hwasa may pick Jam but the judges may go with LadyBounce

What I really hate is that one of the criterias they're getting judged on us is "ticktok challenge popularity". Takes away some liberty sadly. My personal fav is Jam, but I could see 1M winning this (both are very good. 1M has it to make it a viral challenge)

So the main 'hook' part would need to be catchy and viral worthy. Something to look out for when you appraise the choreo.

Not her style at all. It looked, for lack of a better word, ungraceful. Can't wait for you to see the battles. I think you will be surprised. Also have you ever seen Revolution, the French Canadian World of Dance with Les Twins? There was a trio that won season 3 that just blew my mind. Yoherlandy, Cindy and Rahmane. I would love for you to see them.

Kinda sad considering people keep saying that they should stop waacking and because these performances are now after when ep 1-3 aired, it might've kinda of affected them maybe that's why they decided to not waack at all.

I also love the choreography of Bebe for it makes me groove. Though if we look at the content of the choreography JAM REPUBLIC made a GENIUS PIECE. It wasn't easy as one, two three for there are parts that has flat with climax at the end of the each section. There's one section where kirsten doing 123 count while the back up dancers where doing 1 and 2 counts thus they are synchronized. And a lot more great choreographies. If I were Hwasa and will use international choreography I will choose JAM (amazing and genius choreography). But, if I wanted my dance to be trendy that will be BEBE. It is easy to copy danceable.

jam and 1mil are my top 2 for this challenge. love me some bebe but a lot of their moves felt familiar in a bad way, like ive seen them in other kpop choreos. loved their vibe thou, them and lady bounce did a good job of interpreting the song as something other than sensual.

Even before the competition started I strongly believed Jam Republic would win this competition which I didn’t mind because I am a fan of Royal Family. Now I am hoping there was a team giving JR a run for their money because I am seeing JR everywhere on social media, especially with dance challenges with well-known kpop performers (I.e., txt, Jungkook). I realize non-JR Bapa won main dancer but I’d love to see another team(s) easily outshine the rest & make JR realize,”Oh dammit.” (I love knowing that Koreans have fallin’ in love with JR tho’.)

I think Wolf lo, Jam republic and 1Million's choeo was the best.

For me as someone whos a big fan of Hwasa and has experience as a kpop cover dancer, for me Lady Bounce was the stand out. Alot of the choices make sense for Hwasa's style, especially Nob's solo parts, and it has the right energy for a proper kpop choreography. Jam i enjoyed as a dancer but as a kpop choreo, specifically or Hwasa, for me its not the strongest.

BEBE's choreo I think suits better for Moonbyul (maybe because of Bada's outfits)

25:38 As soon as I saw this sequence it reminded me of swalla, which paris choreographed. I like JM and 1M 's for Hwasa to choose, personally BEBE is more my taste tho. MQ is okay and solid, LB is cool and sexy a little of both side, and WL is just boring to me. (I wish JM had more of a ironic move or part for the chorus.)

FYI. Here to explain why BEBE did the "7" hand choreo. They are not copying Twice, 7 in Korean is 질 (chil) so they did the hand sign 7 when the lyrics says "Chil-li" 😊

During Bebe's choreo, you talked about being worried about Hwa Sa being a live singer and having to sing while being lifted, and she has done that before during "Maria", so she's pro, and can do it without a problem. :) This is the first time I've seen your reactions, and I really enjoyed it. Putting into words what I felt about watching Wolflo's and Mannequeen's choreos. Not a dancerr but I really felt something was wrong and the dances are underwhelming. I didn't know what to feel about the step Bada make because it was luke out of nowhere or maybe it's a surprise for me. I kinda know Hwasa's style and Bebe's was not it but I really think their choreo was neat, however your comments fixed the point that the choreography should give consideration to the artist (although she might consider doing other style) especially when Hwasa's strongest suit is her singing. Lady bounce's too, I really like it and thought they were better than wolflo and mannequeen on this one. Your commentary was giving us layman important points to look out when in the professional scene.

with BEBE i think you forgot that Bada is BADA she is versatile.

I love WOLF LO but we have to admit that they had some few mistakes in their performance of CHILLI. Yeni Cho forgot her steps (1:25), sometimes CHOCOL is a bit early, sometimes BABY SLEEK'S grooves are more intense than the others.. They're not that SHARP but they're the BEST BATTLERS.. IDK this is not their best PERFORMANCE but I WILL DEFINITELY SUPPORT THEM UNTIL THE END. They're not the best group but they're THE BEST battlers.. And I just hope they stay long in SWF2.. OMG 😢❤

Just wanted to comment that in SWF1, the crews had to prepare and choreography for both artist mission and Men of SWF at the same time, so some crews decided to focus on Men of SWF instead of artist mission because artist mission is just a ‘bonus’ mission which earns the winning crew 100points. I think that Mannequeen is one of the crews who chose that strategy, because their choreography was not up to par from what I’ve seen Redlic choreograph before. Also some of the choreographers might have thought strategically, and might have thought it wouldn’t be worth it to put 100% in choreographing because even if their choreo is the best by far it isn’t guaranteed that theirs will be chosen. This was evident in SWF1 (HolyBangs was for sure that clear winner, like nobody thought YGX would take it) and 1 million with SMF. Like why would they use their best moves just for it to go to waste? They probably wouldn’t be able to recycle the choreo because it just got shown on national tv. It's also a bonus mission for only 100 points. (Also I think Hwasa will surprise us by not choosing JR nor 1M even if most think that those 2 are the best.) JR - First time watching it, I thought ‘’Without a doubt, they understood the assignment, the only reason I can think of why their choreo isn't getting chosen is because Hwasa prob can't deliver like Kirsten did’’, but after watching it multiply times the thing that became apparent was the there wasn’t a signature move(often placed in the chorus/hook) that would make it go viral and that might be the reason it won’t be chosen. 1Million - HARIMU ATE; She was so great, her facial expressions are everything! Tbh I didn't like their interpretation of the hook, it looked more goofy and childish rather than sexy and seductive, compared to the rest of the choreography which was more on the sexy part, I felt like they missed on that part. Outside of the hook, I really liked the choreo, but there were times where it looked childish compared to sexy idk if it's just me thinking that. ManneQueen - Tbh I really wanted to love it more, but I just can't. I think the reason they chose Redlic was because she's the sexiest and prettiest member, but it seems like she's uncomfortable with being in the spotlight. Every interview/dance choreo I've seen of her, she cringes when she's got the spotlight which is such a shame because she's really beautiful. I really liked how they used different types of formation, but it looked sooo messy at times. You commented on Redlic’s red top that looked like it didn’t fit correctly and that might be because it isn’t hers. I'm pretty. It's Funky Y’s as I've seen her wear it on a judge showcase a couple of months ago. Also the outfits weren’t flattering on any of the members. Somebody else commented on Reddit that it looks like a rejected Redlic GG choreo, and I agree. One thing I will note is that the more I watch it the more bearable it becomes. Lady Bounce - I really liked the choreo, the only thing that really hurt them was the background dancers' outfits were too similar to Nob's so at times she didn't stand out. Also their outfits were a bit childish. It didn't fit the vibe of the song compared to the actual choreo which I thought was really good. Bebe - The choreo was great, but I can't imagine Hwasa doing that. It felt a bit out of concept. Wolf'lo - Tbh the background dancer stood more out than Mini did.. I also really want to thank you for uploading these reacting videos so fast, I feel like you are really objective and not biased, and that's one of the things I love with your reaction videos + Your feedback makes me see things I’ve otherwise ignored at first glance.

I know you want manequeen to show their style but the mission is that they have to create choreo which will suit with Hwasa style. Chreographers usually need to adjust dance moves depending on the artist and they can't show who they are.

I think 1 million fanning was symbolic for spicy maybe 🤷🏽‍♀️
