literally mother!!!! her choreos are always so so good and the crew adds so much intensity and they are truly the best!!! Have you checked Dream Of You??? It's really good
I doubt it this was not intended to be a music video. Fans kept begging for a performance video and they got it. This is good enough to me and if would get old fast it they made a third video about it. I’m grateful we got this at all
I’m Ready surprised me, actually. First off, Chungha’s black outfit and the hair to match, was absolutely perfect. Whoever came up with that deserves kudos. It’s intense, edgy, eye-catching without being gaudy, even aloof (maybe the bangs remind me of Wednesday? ahah). Mystical futuristic fashion runway runaway fugitive vibes. …Whatever I decided that means. 1:43 is such an interesting moment (and my favourite move hihi). It reminded me of Frankenstein for some reason? The stormy skies at certain points definitely helped. 1:48 I’m not sure why I like this so much, but the way she’s leaned back makes it look satisfying. Also, Chungha’s smirk placements don’t feel overly frequent, and this was a good place to include one, I approve. 1:37 I liked how that ah-ah was expressed. Chungha’s hair when she put on the ‘disco ball’ was really cool and all frazzled / wet-looking (3:41). I repeat, her stylist is very tasteful. Also, it’s funny what you said about the dance having sensual undertones because I did not feel that at all (maybe it’s because the lyrics biased me and all I got was yay intimidating female empowerment!) and so when 2:11 hit I was extremely taken aback lmao. If I was the type to audibly react to videos I’d have gone “Woah! Chill so I can, lady!”
haha! Love all of these moments you shared and your thoughts! Thank you for taking the time to talk about your favorite moments! Her outfit I agree was incredible and she WORKED this!!!
"Sexy" kpop is probably more older stuff, like Brown Eyed Girls, Sistar, AOA. Probably--I'm not an expert, just what I heard. You should definitely get second and third opinions! You might be interested in Gain's (she's also part of Brown Eyed Girls) Paradise Lost. PL's dance is more sensual than sexual from what I've heard from other dancers, but normies tend to consider it sexual. I know that there was a controversy(?) with someone's dance cover who edited it in, uh, a distasteful way??
I am! I work for three different studios and I am in charge of the street styles curriculum with all of them! I have also adjudicated with Hiphop International as a national certified judge! I mostly work with dancers with varying skill levels and most are not legal adults so that’s why I don’t post them as often.
