Thank you very much, your comments are very professional, you have seen the small details that we have done, you have seen our intentions. We appreciate it very much🥹😍❤️🔥🙏🏻
Thank you guys so much for showcasing your craft in this way! I’ll be following along all season long so if you need any help with feedback in the future, I’ll be here ♥️ I’m very thankful that I was helpful and I make these not only for viewers but for you guys so your encouragement is felt deeply!
This is something I also noticed. Both sections of choreo they had (theirs that was forced on the other team, and the other teams on them) felt like the same routine. Could be because they either calibrated their own sections to make it feel more cohesive, or their overall cleanliness and how they attacked it in texture helped and aided in this. Technically you just have to do the content of the section with correct timing, so texture adjustments are a free for all which I think was great for this group!
It is a shame that you watched the best one first, they're are clean and amazing. In my opinion, unlike all the Korean crews in SWF that have experiences in choreographing KPop, Vietnamese Crews, except Oops, don't do Kpop much, so in this mission, they're kinda bland.
I will say I'm happy I was able to watch them first, because I was able to extend them feedback that was more accurately related to what I have been used to seeing from the Street Fighter franchise! If anything, I hope that this challenge will be a catalyst for growth with all the crews in the show!
in my opinion (Im from ballroom scene) about using voguing in their choreography is that -Voguing is not simply about dance and also is not a move in street dance. Behind it is the culture and the big development in the past until now which called “ballroom culture”. The reason this culture was born is because of against discrimination and racism Black and Latin American LGBTQ communities in Harlem, NYC. At that time people faced discrimination and especially among transgender people -> That's why, when people do NOT belong the ballroom community can not open classes on its own and borrow things related movements to bring it in a choreography A VERY CONSISTENT THING (no argue, just for understanding❤)
Thank you so much for taking the time to share! 100% agree with you that Vogue is not simply a dance but a CULTURE. All Street styles are incepted within their respective cultures and I even know a lot of people like to combine Waacking/Punking with Vogue and we both know they come from the opposite ends of the US with different communities and social structures in how they were develped. I am in a positiion where when I look at choreography, I am only given a "snapshot" into a crew's culture and what they are actively a part of, so there isn't a lot for me to go off of to see whether or not a member of a crew is a part of any street culture until the crew steps forward themselves or someone who knows more than I speaks on their behalf! I hope to be able to be an advocate for the celebration of Vogue in both the social scene as well as the battle/choreography scene so others can be exposed to the beauty of the craft and the rich history that comes with it! Means a lot that you took the time to comment and I'm looking forward to more of your commentary in the future!
I've been following you since SWF2, when I saw this show (I'm Vietnamese btw) I was like: Is there any chance that Jessica will react to it? 😂😂😂 Anyway, a lot of dancers from these groups are talented and stand out on their own, I've watched a couple of their solo performances. So honestly, I was a bit disappointed when I see their group videos. Maybe they'll get better in future missions? Another thing I wanna share with you, Vietnam dance community is still developing, it has only been widely spread these recent years. So ofc comparing to Korea, there will be a huge gap lol So I know to lower my expectations and support whatever they bring to the table. I'm glad that now we have more professional competitions to join, more people can learn about Vietnam dance groups and seriously we have some really talented dancers that deserve to be appreciated Thank you for reacting to SWF Vietnam and again giving another great, informative comments about dancing. I hope you enjoy the show ❤❤❤
I am very happy that they have this show for us to dive a little bit into the Vietnam dance scene more! I don't mind whether there are gaps within communities as long as everyone is open to learn and receive knowledge from where these styles come from and the choreo took kits reside, I'm all for supporting groups and their growth! All communities start somewhere!
I will say I'm happy I was able to watch them first, because I was able to extend them feedback that was more accurately related to what I have been used to seeing from the Street Fighter franchise! If anything, I hope that this challenge will be a catalyst for growth with all the crews in the show!
Amazing how insightful this video was. It really makes me respect dancing more when I'm being educated by someone who can break it down analytically yet still make it easy to understand! I'm also stoked about Vietnam getting a SWF series as a Viet myself too haha.
@@d4rren09 your words are super encouraging! I truly appreciate that I can be an advocate for enjoying dance and why there are some great moments to uncover with it! Excited to see more in the future!
Fyi that SS Warrior is a type of group has many strong battlers among these groups. There is one of my fav bone breaker too. Their outfit in this battle is not a plus for the performance cause the purple and the light is kinda dark. Anyway, love to see their battle in the future 🥰
Compared to Oops crew, one of the most famous groups in terms of kpop dance cover, I think Oops 's move more clear and synchronized than SS Warrior. Morever, I found their expression so interested and really brighten the stage sm Here is their project that makes me adore the crew and want them to be known as a dance crew not just as a kpop cover dance team, you can have a watch: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mcXCdGI4DzQ.htmlsi=JuqtPv4Lige1J21_
I’m very much looking forward to the battles of the show. I remember a lot of notes I gave Wolflo are the ones I gave to some of these groups here which has me already thinking that we have some battle focused groups in the mix! That’s what it’s all about!
Aw! This is very encouraging and sweet of you! I’m excited to dive into the Vietnamese side of the dance scene through this lens! Excited to have you along for the ride!
@@mongbinhtran2908 thanks for taking the time to watch! I’ve really been enjoying seeing a street fighter based challenge structure on another countries dance community!
@@jess_holyfield I like you because you don't know any of those girls so you would give us the neutral perspective, i really enjoyed watching your reacts. Please do more their battles. Please ❤️❤️❤️
Hi, really love a well-informed video like this. Would it be possible for me to use parts in your video in Tiktok videos. I mainly want to put the translation in my mother tongue language to further promote the show on Tiktok. I will make sure to add link to the og video and tag your account. Love to hear back from you❤.
Hey there! OMG YES please use whatever you would like! All I ask is to not overly splice the sections and to leave them uncut. You can separate the sections just not separate throughout the commentary if that makes sense!
