This is a really good song list, my favorites are: A Brighter Day, A Geisha's Dream, Chance and Dice, Gotta Dance, Heatstroke, Hysteria, La Senorita Virtual, Love Is Orange, Moonster, Nadeshiko, Sacred Oath, This Night, Ubertreffen, un deux trois, You Are a Star, Zero, Dance Dance Revolution, Kimono Princess, and roppongi EVOLVED.
That's good and it reminds me of a song it makes me feel fine with 5 songs just for me. 1. Moonster 2. Love Again 3. Nadeshiko 4. Sacred Oath 5. This Night I like them because it makes me feel through out the day like this songs made me feeling a motion.
This song list is fine and all, but honestly what I love most about this game is the theme. This menu is crisp and pleasant to look at, easily my favorite of all PS2 games.
GT6SuzukaTimeTrials Lol I’m mad .... I wanted play this. I only played x arcade and I never played this one or x console. I stop buying ddr for ps2 after ddr supernova 2 jp came out
I feel robbed. a while ago i had stopped playing DDR, because DDR X was a steaming pile of crap, with the exception of Saber Wing. But this playlist kicks ass! It's like a retro song list, and i almost crapped my self when i saw that Un Deux Trois was on here, cause that is one of my all time favorite songs in DDR. Plus, this has a GREAT selection of NAOKI!
Even all these years later I consider this to be what X should have been, both in terms of content, and aesthetically; X felt like it was trying way too hard to be "urban", but this game merges a more urban style with DDR's typical dance aesthetic a lot better IMO.
@@EuroMIX2the only criticism I have is that the challenge-only songs could’ve been grouped with another color highlight like how CS DDRMAX2 USA and EXTREME2 did.
X had a sequel and I never knew until now? Favorites on this song list, A geisha dream, Brilliant 2. Nadeshiko, Sacred Oath (Love nearly anything by TERRA) Tierra Buena, Zero, Pluto the First & Kimono Princess.
@ddrmaxman To add on to this post, THIS DDR X2 was completely thrown out the window when it came to Japan, they used what we would regret not wanting which was the PS3 DDR beta interface, since DDR PS3 didn't live up to it's hype, the DDR series has at the moment moved to the Wii series seeing that DDR games in Japan have halted for some strange reason...
That's the result of localisation...this is the US-America home version of DDRX2...meanwhile your mentioned tracks are either on a japanese home version or an arcade...and imho, this was the worst ddr because of the music playlist (basically a fanservice for latino and mainstream pop music lovers) and also from 2008 to 2012 DDR was on its dark days...
If you want a good amount of DDR X2 tracks for home, check out Dance Dance Revolution II for the Wii. It has a lot of good songs from DDR X2, including all of the Replicant D Action songs
Even though Stepmania exists, I really hope DDR comes back to consoles like the Switch. I still have my Mario Mix DDR pad, and since the Switch supports gamecube controllers, I could actually use it.
"Japanese versions were always better" yeah. same is a shame that Konami of Japan, never ported the REAL DDR X2 for PS3 in 2011, and then years later continue ported the other main titles of arcades in PS3 and PS4, from X2 to A.
I've grown to like this song list, but the lack of a 16 to fill the gap between KIMONO/roppongi and Pluto the First has bugged me a ton. It would have been the absolute perfect opportunity to bring in PARANOiA Respect, since it wasn't present in Supernova.
I'm among a rarity of crowds that like to do the “more bang for your buck” games. This songlist is great (Epecially Un Deux Tois and Hysteria) but there's a lot of repeated songs from games I already played on. Good thing I skipped it.
Sadly yeah. The repeated songs should've been replaced with these in my honest opinion: Baile Le Samba -> Himawari La Bamba -> Orion 78 AMEuro Mix L'amour et la liberte(DDR Ver.) -> L'amour et la liberte(Darwin & DJ Silver Mix) Tierra Buena -> Paranoia Rebirth La Senorita Virtual -> DXY! Let the Beat Hit Em(Classic R%B Style) -> Still In My Heart Momo Mix Love Is Orange -> Across The Nightmare Un Deux Trois -> Kiss me all night long Hysteria -> Trip Machine Luv Mix
I can't remember the name of the music it has no lyrics only humming alongside the beat and the background are animated with soldiers and a flag in it, if anyone knows what I'm talking about let me know the name that be great
I found a copy of this at a yard sale of all places. For 2$, that more than worth it. Will have no problem enjoying A Geisha Dream, Brilliant 2 U, Sacred Oath, Kimono Princess & Pluto the first. I can get my arcade vengeance on Pluto the first taking the last of my change.
In the standard mode. Just playing a loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooottttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt of times, like 500 or more.
This is a great song list but unfortunately Konami a lot of missed opportunities on other songs that are not on US PS2 releases. 7:59 The Darwin and DJ Silver remix should've been used. Other Konami originals that were in other games weren't needed. We could've had others that we haven't seen on US PS2 like Paranoia Rebirth, Paranoia Respect, Orion.78 AMEuro Mix, Dead End (the Groove Radar Special is in but the original chart should've been in as well), Kiss me all night long, Tears, DXY!, Dive To The Night (MAX2), Still In My Heart Momo Mix, Destiny Lovers, Across The Nightmare, Himawari, Trip Machine Luv Mix, etc. Hell, even the SMM Specials from X CS JP could've been on here.
Hell even some of the previous DDR Hottest Party songs that crossed over to DDR X could've made it, like Will, Super Samurai, Beautiful Inside (Cube::Hard mix), Loving You(Epidermik Mix), Into Your Heart(Ruffage Mix)
Yep, I loved the first DDR's where most of the songs where Jpop and unknown artists. How are you supposed to dance to Viva la Vida from Cold Play? I still haven't unlocked it so I guess I will find out.
i can understand why X2 on PS2 is goin' for so much money now -_- it's not even a good enough mix to be expensive and it's only worth it for a few songs but then again i can't too much complain as PAL region DDR games are still much worse despite how less DDR games they had compared to even tha US mixes
i love how this game includes the worst of the licenses from ddr hp3. Space Dance, Boogie Wonderland, Enjoy the Silence, Feel Good Inc would be much better picks than Calle Ocho, Let's Get It Started, and a bunch of others
They were trying to appeal to the average suburban white family.. some of the licenses are pretty good though.. licenses on PS3 however was so bad, it literally destroyed DDR CS for good
This game also had a lot of repeats from earlier games, which imo these should've been in the game instead: - Himawari - L'amour et la liberte(Darwin & DJ Silver Mix) - Paranoia Respect - Paranoia Rebirth - Orion 78 AMEuro Mix - Kiss me all night long - Dead End (original charts) - AM-3P (303 Bass Mix) - Across the nightmare - Still In My Heart Momo Mix - DXY! - Trip Machine Luv Mix - Dive Into The Night
Oh dear. I think I’m the only one who didn’t like this song list. Sorry guys. Most of my favorites on this list were repeats of past games, but there were a couple songs that were original to this game I liked alright. One thing I wished they did a better job of was picking better licensed songs. Pretty much none of them made me want to dance. They were more radio/sing along songs than dance songs.
No eran tan malas.
@@jeffhuypham Some people have left the days of 90's eurobeat behind. It's fine that you aren't satisfied with the songlist, but I don't think eurobeat and everything would still be popular today.
