Studied there, w. Marika Besobrasova, in 1976. Many fewer students then, & the program was not as organized as it became, but such a wonderful experience. A few of us students performed w. guest stars (from the Paris Opera Ballet, Stuttgart Ballet, Royal Ballet, NYCB, etc.) in gala performances at the Grand Théâtre de Monte Carlo, celebrating the anniversary of Prince Rainier's coronation. First time I ever danced with a live orchestra, & it was a world premiere, on that legendary stage!
