We tackled a comfort zone challenge and danced in public like no one's watching! With each new location we gradually increased the levels of difficulty, going from open to more confined spaces.

WHY DO THIS?
Dancing like no one's watching is a great challenge, not only to get out of the comfort zone, but to truly experience living in the moment and enjoying and embracing it. We are so conditioned to adjusting to what the other human beings around us are doing, and do anything to NOT stand out, that we tend to suppress every urge to do something that doesn't comply with social norms.
HOW WAS IT?
I noticed a lot of resistance inside at every location we went to dance. Once the headphones went on, the world was blocked out. I let myself get sucked into the now and enjoyed some moments of liberation and not worrying about what people around me might think. (Thanks Burger King for not kicking me out hihi)
HOW TO DANCE LIKE NO ONE'S WATCHING?
1. Take a friend with you! Had it not been for Jason, who was just as willing as I to embrace this challenge, I might have stalled forever with excuses. It's more fun to do things like this together, and together you can go further, give each other a little push when you're sneakily trying to chicken out, and provide mental support!
2. A noise cancelling headset really helps! Once you put it on, the world is gone, you don't hear anything except for your music!
3. Avoid eye contact in the very cramped spaces to make it more bearable for you.
You got this!!
