Yes, against these thousands of girls she didn’t stand out, but once she made it to Abby’s Ultimate Dance Competition, she got the spotlight. Jess knew to network and it wasn’t Abby who put her on Dance Moms, but the producers.

Im so late but anyway, you can see there are no kids with their parents. That means that this was filmed at the very beginning of the audition, probably after a speach from abby. They just put it somewhere else as if they were cheering for the winners.
