I think she didn’t need to change the shape of the costume at all but I think it would’ve looked better with more colors mainly cause it blends and doesn’t pop out with the background lol

I agree 100%!! I feel Ava was amazing!! Her technique was flawless and was much better than Maddie. It was something unexpected something different, not something we see everytime...

They didn’t make “some errors” in the age division. Do you want to know the real reason why Mackenzie and Kalani somehow got fourth and first at the same time? It’s because the producers wanted clips of them winning and loosing so they could decide which one they wanted to put in the episode. For instance, when Kalani won fourth in a division she didn’t enter in, she obviously acted very confused. The producers made it look like she was confused why they lost. In fact ava’s team posted now deleted celebratory photos on social media with the producers of dance moms before the contest even began.

I just thought i’d let u know that this is a different competition so therefore have different judges who haven’t seen Maddie’s other solos. Taking it from the judges perspective, ur saying it is nothing special just a normal Maddie solo however the judges haven’t seen her other solos. From the judges perspective it wouldn’t be a normal Maddie solo. And if u want to win u do what ur good at right? I don’t see why she deserves to be scored down for using the moves and styles she is good and confident with rather than experimenting at nationals, the most important competition . To us who watch dance moms it may seem repetitive but us fans usually forget to put ourself in the judges’ shoes. In my opinion Maddie should’ve won because Ava lacked fluidity and naturalness in her movements as they felt quite forced and uncomfortable, her flexibility wasn’t really there as it was relied on heavily with leg kicks, leaps and other movements using her legs, you can see she barely reaches a full split on her movements which didn’t play out well for her. Again the choreo did not showcase her strengths, it was extremely basic choreo definitely not fit to the dancer. Although her technique was beautiful her facials didn’t tell a story in my opinion as most of the time she had either a straight face or a sad face not really embodying her story line. Nevertheless she did do awesome and is a stunning dancer, I just believe in this competition Maddie’s was alot better in my opinion. Anyway thats just my take on it and i’m really late lol.

I agree. In my opinion, I thought Maddie had a more difficult routine and was better executed with more interpretation and variation in skills.

This was from a rigged competition. There are many youtube videos that show evidence why it was definitely rigged. I definitely agree Maddie's choreography was way better.

Romina Flores Kenzie and Kalani both competed solos at this competition, so Kenzie competed dreamer and Kalani competed something else

yeah, her solo and Kalani's solo ''run'' were not aired because there were mix-ups during awards -_-' but we can see Dreamer and a part of Kalani's solo on youtube.

She's way better than Maddie. Sadly, the show made it look as if Maddie was way talented than she was...Maddie moves are not graceful at all.

Because Maddie always did the same thing over and over again. Lyrical, Lyrical, Lyrical, Tap, Tap. As Cathy said it's better to do different dance types instead of doing the same type and choreography just cause it works. If Abby didn't rig Maddie's solos I doubt she would win as much as she did. Her facial expression are bland and the only reason she does dance is because she wins all the time. You should dance cause you love it not cause you always win. Not to mention Ava is way better then her. Ava puts her best out there with no rigging. She just dances regularly and wins. No rigging needed. I believe Ava winning was the best.

Ava deserved her win period. Y’all need to stop being so biased and look at things objectively. Their technique was on a similar level but Avas overall performance was better. She had a better storyline which she executed well.
