Marilyn Monroe is remembered for many things but rarely as a dancer. This song inspired me to edit something hopefully honouring some of the most iconic scenes of her movies.

Many did deserve her. They served their country in two wars, one to defeat fascism, the other unnecessary, but still. To say nothing of the strong and patient women who waited for them to come home. Why does MM fandom seek to run down every other single person who ever lived? "Not one bit"? Excuse me? My grandfather was in the second wave on the Normandy invasion; later on became a big fan of Marilyn. Go to hell, lady.

Thank you for this,when I was around ten years old i was fostered and i found a lovely hardcover book with her photos and felt so comforted, its not untill now with youtube that i put a realized she was a great movie star.. Thanks for this! Just seen a minute ago Marilyn in Gentlemen Prefer Blondes on tv so it was coincidence that RU-vid suggested this! She was so great and I found out a little while ago that her family originate (hundreds of years ago) from Tain in Scotland where my Dads family come from - and our name is same! Hers was Munro before they changed the spelling and its my maiden name. Always loved watching her!
