Fake. It's true that you can get S rank if you get enough points (usually, you get them for lap 2, secrets and treasure; but it's sometimes possible in some mods, like cheese gutter, where you can get so much point for killing slimes, that getting S will be piece of cake). But to get P rank, you still need to have to kill enemy in first room, get all the secrets, and treasure, have enough points for S and not lose combo. If at least one of those requirements won't be meet - no P rank for you! As a great proof - in some runs, after getting in the last secret, player finally gets p rank (if he had S before), even if he didn't touched those points-givin-guys
