@@ROBERTTONUS naw it doesn't lmao, ma channel is a fine example of why they don't. Most of ma vinyls are from that era. Bouncy techno/Happy hardcore and Makina all had distinctive sounds by that point, especially Makina when it started to take on a hard trance type influence.
You need you're ears checked out mate coz it sounds nothing like pikey funfair music, I live about a mile from the Town Moor in Newcastle. The stage for the largest travelling "pikey" funfair in Europe, The Hoppings. Its mostly dance, pop, rock and hip hop they play, none of which sound anything like Monta Musica or Makina. I've only ever heard this music once in the 30 yrs ive attended the Hoppings and it was these very same lads in 2014. Jimmy Mason rock-rocked the mic

This is probably some of the best hardcore mixing and mcing combo i have ever seen. I remeber i used to go to helter skelter back in the 90's. Where were these guys in the days of helter skelter? Dj robson mixes fucking sick and the mc's are fucking brilliant. Either they are completely wasting their talent - or the techno rave promoters and talent scouts are not doing their job properly cos these guys should be up there making big money as their proper skilled. We also need more female techno and female hardcore dj's on the scene aswell so c'mon ladies you should start mixing techno aswell. Most female dj's play r&b and hip hop which is cool but hardcore and techno rock the crowd with more adrenalin in a fastpaced setting. Peace.

Leeroy Phillips Hi leeroy. Heres the thing mate. Im mixed race and im from London and the Black mcs here have ruined the rave scene cos they talk shit in their lyrics. The big thing here in London is "Grime" which is basically uk garage. That music is ok but the Black mcs here just rap about guns and violence and cuss out peoples mums in their lyrics over the music which is what i hate. Thats what ruined the rave scene.
