thank you for the lovely reaction! just a head up here - that video is a compilation that shows the chorus parts of the choreos. usually, in group dances, the verses are filled with more intricate chore that are executed by individuals or in smaller groups, with different formations, including floorwork, etc. but then they all come together and synchronize for the chorus. so since you watched just the choruses of these songs, you missed a lot of their more interesting choreos haha i hope to see you react to more bts dances, possibly the full ones! i think you'll find these ones interesting (also, you can watch dance practices to see the technical aspect of the choreo better, but their live performances would also be interesting since the energy they have during live stages is goosebump-inducing haha) : Dionysus (dance practice or live performance at either MAMA 2019 or MMA 2019) Black Swan (dance practice or live performance, and a bonus dance break at MMA 2020) ON (this one has amazing dance practices)

This compilation is a good starting point to BTS choreos, although some of them are harder than they look here - for instance Spring Day for a relatively slow song has a really intricate and interesting choreo. And there are many new choreos not mentioned here. Son SungDeuk is the main choreographer and performance director for BTS since the beginning... J-Hope is the lead dancer for BTS (and one of the 3 rappers)... This video that you are reacting to actually doesn't do justice to the boys amazing dancing - Go to BANGTANTV channel(official BTS) on youtube and check out their MV's, the making of the MV's and their Practice sessions - also check out their live performances and MAMA Music award performances... another good one is the Burn the Stage documentary which shows what they go through in their performances... Welcome to the world of BTS - once you enter you will never want to leave.... they are never satisfied to rest on their laurels - with each performance they aim to outshine what went before, and every concert and every performance of each song will be slightly different (costumes or dance, etc) so if you come to more than one show you will never be bored... They are their own harshest critics and never settle for second best... True showmen (with an amazing message for the world too...)... BORAHAE

What's even more impressive is for award show performances they always include at least one dance break and they never do the same thing twice. Any performance from MMA or MAMA is impressive. Not to mention you can see all their choreo videos on their YT channel.

They just show you some second of choreography from those song , but you should see the whole choreography they are powerful , beautiful and smooth

You should watch the whole choreography to appreciate what all about in their dancing that made them the best. The clips showed doesnt showed much. Im sure you will enjoy more if you watch each practice video

The reason you're seeing a lot of unison is that they don't show the whole dance and mostly only the chorus part of the song. I recommend you watch complete dance practices :)

Keep in mind these are just a 5 second taste per choreo and they also do live vocals (with backtrack). A lot of their choreos have intricate movements and also they do different types of dances. It would be nice to see you react to some of their full dance practices. A few dance practices to mention: DNA, Fake Love, Black Swan, ON, Dionysus MMA 2019 practice, Danger, Dope and so many more.

Their dances have actually gotten harder since this video is a bit old. Their song ON is probably their most difficult choreography as of today I hope you can react to the dance practice when you have time =) The guy in the blue sweater you liked his name is J-Hope and he is actually the Dance Leader for BTS!

These Boys dance with such great technical ability. And with so much swag it was really great to watch.

They didn't even show the hardest parts of the Dionysus dance, lol. That one they've actually changed the choreography because JK got hurt doing it at one point.

According to BTS their hardest dance was Idol until ON came out. Now they list it as 1. ON 2. IDOL 3. FIRE

These sort of videos are merely a list of difficulty for the whole choreo: it doesn't mean the bit of choreo shown is the best/most difficult bit. You would need to see the full choreo to understand the placements. This just gives you an idea.

I love it when you call them all professional dancers when in reality only 3 of them had any real dance training before joining BTS

It’s the fact that BTS sings and raps LIVE while doing these dances, BTS absolutely does not lip sync even tho some coreos are just so intense, doing all those things at once takes true dedication and hard work to master, and they’ve definitely put in the time, BTS runs on treadmills while singing or rapping so they can have stable vocals while dancing and sing/rapping live

watching this i realise it gives a really weird impression of their choreo. it looks powerful and in sync and that’s it... their choreo is so much more than this. i know the point of the original vid is “hardest” but i do recommend watching more full dance practice videos ☺️

I would suggest reacting to each of their dance practices individually cause this compilation is a bit outdated and only shows some of the choreo missing alot of parts of it.

Thank you for watching this compilation. I hope you had fun. I think you have a wonderful smile and I'm glad that watching the guys inspired you to get up and want to dance. What I personally like about their dance routines is that the choreos are very much related to the music and lyrics. Like spring day is beautiful. I hope you can see the choreographies as a whole instead of snippets. Because this showed mainly the chorus parts so the interesting moves and formations aren't showcased. Blood sweat and tears is amazing, so is Fake Love, from the newer songs, I really have the highest respect for Black swan. That choreo is amazing. I suggest you watch the version on BTS week on the Tonight show, Jimmy Fallon. Their live performances are top notch so I completely agree with the swag they ooze. They absolutely amazing performers. Most of these rankings were way off. They were mostly only showing the choreo to the choruses of the songs, which are almost always in unison. The rest of the song usually has much more intricate choreo, and BTS do quite a bit of floor work. A lot of their choreo is also concept based, so it follows the concepts of their songs.

Talking about how difficult it is to perform on grass, wait till you see their recent performance of On at 2020 MMA. They performed it on stadium field. But if you're gonna watch their 2020 MMA performance, you should watch the whole thing, Black Swan + On + Life Goes On + Dynamite. I promise you, it's worth it. You can see how they do different types of dances

I disagree with the order of some of these... also... some of the parts they chose were NOT the most difficult parts of the choreo for that particular dance. They did a LOT of cannons and floor work in their earlier songs, but this video doesn't show them.

You couldn't see all the aspects of their dance with just 5 second clips though. Ps these are older songs too. Pps you should expect more unison dancing and succession choreo than individual dances especially since they have to sing live while doing the choreo.

I 100% recommend going through their dance practice/choreography videos. You'll be able to see clearly the kinds of levels and shapes and storytelling they do. :)

Dance practice just show a bit about their original dance. Each other of them have their own style ( special dance line JK, jimin, J hope and V) . Their performed and fancam will show what I say. The best thing ever that is charisma their have( my jimin is the best) I recommend you mma 2019, MMA 2020, best of me live. Finally sorry for my English. I hope it can help you

I would definitely recommend checking out some of their full dance practices, especially for example for Fake Love. Another choreography that doesn't get recommended often but is one of my absolute favorites is their choreography for I Need U, and it is not all unison even though that's what they focused on most in the clip here.

Videos like this don't usually show solo dances, just the group choreography. React to their MAMA (Mnet Asian Music Awards) and MMA (Melon Music Awards) performances. Please react to full dance practice videos too. They have some pre-debut videos of them dancing solos in the studio to other music. They do cover dances for other songs, normally for their Festa (which is their debut anniversary concert for official paying fans only). The 3 J performance is great & a few years ago, Jimin & Jungkook did a cover of "Black & White" in tribute to MJ when they were asked to take part in his memorial concert but couldn't. The MAMA performance from 2020 had amazing choreo too. Thanks for reacting, I hope to see more from you. #34 GoGo is filled with old and/or viral dances. #31 For You is a track made for the fans. It's literally "For Us". It was on their Japanese album and only in Japanese. There's another official MV for this song, but I've always preferred this choreo version. It's such an underrated song. The way JK stares into your soul the entire time is breathtaking. #25 is actually "Airplane pt 2" "Airplane" is one of J-Hope's solo songs from his mixtape "Hope World". #12 Save Me - that was the track's debut performance. There were only 6 members; JK was sick. #9 Spring Day is amazing. It's been on the charts since it was released in S. Korea. I believe you're talking about J-Hope in the jeans & purple sweater (sorry in my country we don't usually use "jumper"); he is the main dancer. He was a member of a dance crew "Neuron" before joining BigHit Entertainment and was locally famous and was 3rd in a national competition (i think i'm remembering his rank correctly). #6 is We Are Bulletproof part 2. Part 1 was pre-debut & neither on an album, nor with all the members. The member who did the breaking was J-Hope, Jump (Jimin) & hat catch/trick (Jungkook). Until 2017 they were the only members of the Dance-line (the 3 most proficient at dancing). Since 2017's album Love Yourself: Tear, V became officially a dance-line member after his intro track "Singularity". Jimin was the top student in contemporary dance at his performance arts school. #5 Not Today - that was actually just the choreography video. They were in Japan at the time so it wasn't their usual dance studio; it was in a school gymnasium. #3 Dionysus - they didn't show the most difficult part of the choreo. The original version of which was cut because 1 of them smacked their face on the ground doing the original stunt. You can see the original version in the Dionysus comeback stage (meaning it's first performance). It was a spin & drop into a pushup position.

Actually if you want to see their real talent you should check out their dance practices. I feel like this video is mostly made for the fans who already know the choreo of these songs because these snippets only show the chorus part which is usually the same repeating dance moves done together. Most of these choreos have very interesting parts throughout the songs, formations, level changes, floor work but this video doesn't show any of it except the chorus. And I recommend checking out their individual dances, the solo dance compilations of Jimin or Jhope or the other members. Those are the best. Well 25 is actually the second version of airplane, its actually airplane pt.2 since airplane is from J-hope's (a member of BTS) solo mixtape, Hope World, airplane pt.2 is kind of a remake of airplane, distributing some lines to the other members, and making a choreography for it. Dionysus actually had a bit changes in the choreography cause they were afraid they might fall on their faces, the move was like doing a squat doing a spin while going up then fall down again in the position of doing push-ups then I think they did 1 push-up there. The hardest now so far is ON or Black Swan, one of those songs, but my favorite was their extended performance in Fake Love for an award show where they pose like a doll that has strings then the strings get cut then goes back up smoothly.

Hiya, just going to say that: 1. This video only plays the chorus of their songs which are the parts they try to make most friendly so fans can dance along to along as well as the parts that require their vocals to be most stable so they rarely do formation changes and hard choreo during the chorus. 2. They have 7 years of music, at least 200 songs but around maybe 40 with choreo :) Just FYI.

Unsure if anyone else has mentioned since you posted this but this compilation was not made by a dancer (it is very easy to tell since all the fast choreo is listed as the hardest when that is not always true) and does not actually line up with what BTS themselves have said about the difficulty of their choreography. Currently their most difficult choreography would be ON, followed by Idol. I highly recommend the actual dance practice videos for all of these to get a full scope of the choreography, the highlights chosen do not exactly support the rankings they gave.

You’re only seeing mostly unison because it’s showing mostly only chorus’, and that’s where most of their unison dancing is. The entirety of songs show more.

I really enjoyed your reaction! The thing that drew me originally into BTS is their choreography. I'm glad you saw snipped but I'm quite excited for you to see full dance practices or performances to really appreciate all the nuances. Yes, they perform full out complete with facial expression necessary for type of song, full energy and sincerity. They have a lot of different levels, transitions, and footwork and different intricacies down to the fingers. They can basically win a "best dance crew" competition. Their main choreographer is Mr. Son Sungdeuk. Their early days consisted a lot of hip hop, but their dance also includes some contemporary such as Spring Day and Black Swan. I love that you recognized J-Hope as the Dance Leader and who they proclaim as the best dancer. Please, feel free to rewind your favorite parts! We don't mind seeing it again!
