Gotta give it up to Simon Jakops. This is his baby. I’m sure there are executives above him but the creative vision is his. Who to work with, what stylists, writers, producers, editors and choreographers. He honed these girls into a rock solid biomechanical organism for 5 years. The man is a genius.

I wouldn’t even call them 4th gen because their whole vibe, dance, energy and music is so different!! Absolutely in a league of their own and they’re still in the baby stages of their career!!🥵😭

if we look into their Documentaries, they really put their focus on dance training before they start training on vocals, they start train dance together since 2017 with Jurin and Harvey was already a member of “Dream Team” of Avex Dance Nation in 2015.

As a former dancer you can tell XG are dancers before anything else. Unlike other groups that just have one or two main dancers imo choreographers especially with girl groups have a hard time doing creative themes with their choreography bc they have to keep the weaker dancers in mind. However with XG you have 7 dancers with no weak link so as a choreographer you have more freedom to express and bring your ideas to life on stage. Plus you knw they are going to get into character and bring the right attitude to stage. Also all 7 have stage presence which is practically non existent in 3rd & 4th gen. This one key difference separates XG from the rest.

Thank you for clarifying what drives me insane when people call ofher groups synchronised when all i see are like angles and positions being different with each other. Xg and loona butterfly era especially were incredibly in sync
