They have in-house choreographers, but they also hire outside as well. Sienna Lalau was one of the choreographers for this... she also did the choreo for their songs "On", "Dionysus", "Chicken Noodle Soup" (J-hope), the dance break for "Butter" at the Grammys, and others. Nick Joseph did the choreo for the dance break to Meg Thee Stallions part of Butter Remix; Brian Puspos did the choreo for Jimin's "Serendipity" and part of "Butterfly", and Keone has choreographed a few for them as well. Their main in-house choreographer is Son SungDuek.
Again as you probably know, I'm a huge fan of BTS, and I feel like I need to clear up a misconception that some people have about them. While it's true that BTS is an incredibly talented group of musicians, singers, and dancers, they are so much more than that. They are artists in every sense of the word. Their music speaks to people all over the world, and their message of love, self-acceptance, and social awareness is more important now than ever before. BTS is a group that has worked hard to break down barriers and stereotypes, and they have done so with incredible grace and humility. They are not just entertainers, they are activists, advocates, and role models for millions of people. So, the next time someone tells you that BTS is just a group of guys who can sing and dance, I hope you'll remember that they are so much more than that. They are a force for good in the world, and their impact is truly immeasurable. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I hope you'll continue to support BTS in all that they do.🙏
Definitely reading every comment 😭. Most of what i know is from the comments section. Try not to spoil everything tho LOL love every last one of you 💯🫶🏾
You have to see them do this live. This was their practice of just this song for their opening set at their Free Busan 2022 Yet to Come concert that was lived streamed worldwide. How they manage to sing rap and dance live just goes to show not only how talented they are but their level of fitness. They did this and Mic Drop with full choreography back to back, no break.
BTS's main and in-house choreographer is Son Sung-deuk and he's been with them since their trainee days. Sometimes, they also hire choreographers from outside the company to do a specific song. The members especially Dance Leader, J-Hope also has inputs in the choreography and stage performances for the group. The amazing thing about BTS is that they're heavily involved in their craft from the composition of their songs, the lyrics, the choreography and the stage performances -- the members make sure they own them by being personally involved.
They have a great choreography team, and an awesome Entertainment Director Son Sungdeuk that has been with them from the beginning, but they utilize choreographers from around the world, and also, J-Hope is the dance leader and learns the choreography first and teaches the other members. He also contributes choreography. He's one of the main dancers, along with Jimin. It took them three rehearsals to learn it. Their rehearsals last about 4 to 6 hours. If they feel like they need to practice more they stay after practice and do more. But they have been doing this since 2013, and before that when they were trainees, they used to practice 10 to 12 hours a day, maybe more. Plus they write and produce their own music. Dynamite (which was in 2020, not 5 years ago) shows one aspect of their talent. They are so multitalented, you just got a glimpse of what they are capable of. I'll leave links to a few of my favorite BTS songs from their early day, and you can see how talented they were from the beginning. I think for you to understand why they are as good as they are, and who and what they are all about, you should check out some of their performance and MV videos from the beginning, and read the lyrics. BTS debuted June 13, 2013, in South Korea, as a Hip Hop Idol Group, from a small independent label. *Always make sure your captions are on* BTS - Born Singer-released (7/11/2013) Live w/Eng. Bts don’t do alot of crazy coloured hairstyles anymore. Dynamite was actually minimal because they have done way crazier than that😭😭😭. Back then it was so crazy that one time they all had dark brown/black hair at the same time and everyone was so shocked, It was so funny.
please balance your audio levels better, there's some parts that are way too loud (especially the very beginning) and some parts that are too soft . But otherwise nice reaction, please react to their dance practice video for their song Fire, it's a cool one.
The crazy hair colours is part of the kpop genre . The guys u see in this video is their natural self . They dont wear make up off stage and shit , the dress code u see in the video is how they dress in their daily lives ,kpop is a genre that is all about stage , its not what they like in person really . They dont choose their outfits for stage etc but the guys in this video is just them being their normal selves ..
@@crystalsnow1138 Not all the time. I wouldn’t say they are forced either but they sometimes do wear clothes or hairstyles that they don’t like. But I also feel like as they grew older they are now more involved in visuals. And that’s just me on bts but if we were talking about kpop in general a lot of them don’t have a say in what they wear but this can be both bad and neutral Cus not everyone cares about what they wear.
Jhope learns the choreo is a few minutes , the rest learns between 1 to 3 days . Then they practice for about 2 weeks for every choreo to perfect it and get them synchronised . They not professional dancers , at least not most of them , two of the members were great dancers when they were chosen to join bts ( they were all kids when they joined , 13 to 18 back then . For them they had to live together as teens and train daily while being school kids , living together in a dorm , away from their families and friends , to build a close bond to become synchronised . These guys are a different breed from ur ordinary groups . Watch some more dance practices , pay attention to their footwork and how they transition without knocking into each other . The reason why they still a group since their debut in 2013 is allot to do with their bond. They were strangers who became a group who then became more like one .. i hope that their bts journey will be made into a movie . Its worth watching .
How do they what to do? Answer 1-16 hour days practice for 10+ years Answer 2- dance leader/teacher extraordinaire jhope!!! Answer 3- they have an amazing team behind them who works with the actual artists to choreograph every move
As dancers reaction, please do their earlier era's (2013, 2014, 2015 ....) dance practices. Those are amazingly good. They practiced not only dance movements but also even their eyes/face directions synchronization. The choregrapher, Son Sungduck, has to think about dance routines, matching the lyrics & meanings to movements, formations/levels, who is singing at what part of the routine... Much to think about when choregraphing.
On average it takes takes BTS 1-3 days (longer if its more complicated) to learn their choreography. Like Matt? said remember they are PROFESSIONAL dancers. They have been learning choreo and practicing almost daily since 2013. The expectations on South Korean music artists (idols) is entirely different from western artists. They can release anywhere from 2-4 albums or mini albums a year , and have to learn choreo for each of these releases. Then they go on weekly music competition shows so perform these songs and choreo. Then the touring. Other than some what we would call small vacations here an there, they have been working non-stop for a decade. Not to mention the team and agency (label) they have supporting them, it's a whole thing. The more I learn about Kpop and how incredibly hard the artist work and the enormous work ethic they have, the more I am impressed. Mind you I am only talking about the dancing they have to do, you have to also think about writing and producing all these songs. BTS writes and produces most their own music. SK is a small country, about the size of Indiana. and Kpop is no joke. It's a whole industry that contributes billions to the SK economy. BTS contributes 5 billion alone.
Some of them are dancers, but they aren’t like professionally trained. They just grew up dancing and have experience dancing things like hip hop. It’s part of our culture, and the area that we live in.
@@katlynnrosario2842 ohh okay that’s cool, it’s just most people use BTS for views and say they’re rappers, dancers, or singers saying they’re reacting to BTS. i’m glad they’re not lying
Y’all neeed to see one of their concert live performances, a good one to start off is their medley in tokyo dome, the fact that they can sing while dancing such complex choreographies for so long with hardly any breaks is insane.
They're now rlly comfortable toward the audience, everyone can feel that. They no need to be stricted at themselves like being careful at any words or actions that they do. Just being themselves go beyond the Kpop industry expectation, have the hair colour that they want, long hair or short hair, and u can see this comfort from many recent lives or shows, etc. And these things are what they received after all those hard years, sitting on top and no need to worried about everyone eyes. Sorry about my bad English, not good at describing. Hope everyone can understand what I mean😅💜💜💜
You guys have fun reactions, would love to see more if you guys enjoyed it!! BTS have many genres and they all have solo projects as well. Currently, Agust D (Suga) is on tour for his rap album and it’s really good!! But they have music for a lot of genres, depending on what you like💜☺️
Their main choreographer Son Sung Deuk has been with them since before they even started (since 2010ish). He's like a member of the family. Outside choreographers always come with their best work cause they know that any choreo BTS does will be seen by millions of people and it better be done right!
Hi guys, thanks for the reaction. You have to react to BTS at the beginning of their career, from 2013 to here, and you will see how much they evolved, perfected themselves and worked and work hard to be where they are. Nothing was easy for them, they had that "killing a lion a day" and swallowing all the insults they didn't know why they received it, if what they only did was work, work and work exhaustively. that you guys as dancers, I imagine it's HipHop, will go crazy with BTS. _WE ARE BULLETPROOF PT.2 _FAKE LOVE _IDOL _DANGER _BOY IN LUV _NOT TODAY _BEST OF ME _DOPE _MIC DROP _I NEED YOU _RUN _FIRE _DNA _BLOOD,SWEET&TEARS _BLACK SWAN _ON
"Natural" hair is seen more during awards season (later in the year). This choreography was revealed during their Busan concert in October, which is probably why they had less colorful hair
if you wabt to see good dance practice check out Danger, Boy in Luv, Black Swan, Fire, Dope I Need You, in Dynamite the rappers did not rap but all 3 have there own Mixtapes, Suga have Agustd and daechewita, Rm have Joke and Wildflower, and J-Hope have Ego and Moore and Arson, and the vocalist have there own songs
Their hair colour are all the same because they are all doing solo projects just now and 2 of them have now entered the Military, if you want to know more about them, then watch A GUIDE TO BTS, THE BANGTAN 7 you will get to know them well. 💜🔥💜, watch MMA 2019, it's a korean award show and their performance is AWESOME 💜🔥💜 Please continue to put BTS into their own playlist so your video's of them are easy to find.
YALL SHOULD REACT TO TXT, THEYRE A GOOD GROUP AND THEYRE THE FIRST EVER GROUP TO BE UNDER BTS COMPANY RIGHT AFTER BTS, REACT TO “TINNITUS” it’s a kpop song and its afrobeat inspired
About a year ago they took a break to go to the military and work on individual programs. That’s why their hair is black- they were on break for the most part. This video was for their Busan concert last fall. It was the last concert together before they go to the military.
Gonna subscribe cuz I'm hoping y'all do more kpop stuff 😁 Also, welcome to ARMY 😅💜 After 10+ years of training our boys have legit perfected their art as a great team as well as individuals.
Have you guys watched The Guide to BTS-The Bangtan 7 by Taylor Mani? You will learn a TON from that, and it will blow your mind how much they do for this world on a humanitarian level. 💜💜💜💜💜
You should react to "on the street" By Jhope (bts rapper) with JCOLE!! all the bts members are leaving for their military service and this is jhope's goodbye song to army with one of his biggest music inspiration JCOLE
In the process of checking out BTS you guys should react to either the Left Right or Shooting Star music video by XG they’re one of my favorite girl groups and i’m really curious on what you guys would think of them! they’re impeccable performers as well so if you guys react to dance practices i think you’ll enjoy them as well!
Could you please react to XG Shooting Star? They’re an all Japanese group but are based in Korea and make music for a global audience. Their debut was last year but their singing, dancing, and rapping is on point!!
You should guys react of the new hit of Agust D, hes part of bts too but in the group he goes by SUGA, Agust D It’s his solo name, he dropped this new song named “Haegeum” yall gotta hear it!!
Well I will start from kpop so I m just an army of bts from there debut days but I m also a kpop stan so in kpop if u say why kpop is different unique and honest then any other industry bez in kpop all of our idols are very honest genuine and real nothing in kpop is fake nothing. And sec our kpop idols respect love care and support each other no matter males or females they don't hate each other Or they don't get jealous of each other like other artists of other industries. Third in kpop u will find no absolutely no autotunes always singing in real in live performances award shows there insta or weverse live they sing with there own voice vocals with out any kind of autotunes.4th our kpop industry doesn't use green screens they use them sometimes for some concepts and all of the most of the time everything u see in there Music videos or live performances is all real set ups no green screen so yeh Thts how our BTS is absolutely pure and real there voice are magic and there dance is out of this world there choreography is made by there own choreographer and also by themselves cuz there dance leader is Jhope the member the rapper he is the dance leader so he also make choreographies. So yeah there main vocalist is Jungkook and lead vocalist is Jimin and Main Dancer is also Jimin and jhope. Rappers r Jhope suga and namjoon and vocalists are jimin jungkook jin taehyung and leader of bts is Kim Namjoon. So yeah.
You know if you react to BTS content from their Bangtan TV channel on here, or anything that has the Bighit's logo, you don't have to skip or mute anything. That ruins the video and reaction.
could you maybe react to epex? they are so good! song: anthem of teen spirit. i feel like this is the kind of song you would like!!! if yes thank you very much i followed you
Great reaction pls do more bts reaction! React to Jimin’s set me free pt2 mv and performance pls! Jimin is the one in the grey hoodie he just dropped his solo album 🫶🏻
