if there’s ever a moment for twoset to be introduced to danseur repertoire, i think you two collaborating with them would be an incredible opportunity!!!
I liked that Brett was SO determined to get the head movements right in the second half of their performances that his head movements were slightly exaggerated, which was also highlighted by the length of his hair. He got them right, though. Cudos!
Please, please, PLEASE team up with them for a special challenge! They teach you something on the violin, you teach them some ballet? Any kind of collaboration would be great. You're all such fun and lovely people.
I think I have an idea about recognising some pieces of music. Jordan and Eden will get all the ballet stuff correctly but will not know much about the others, while twoset will know more general stuff
I had a question here. One of the people in twoset, Brett or Eddy, had perfect pitch. You should know who that one is if you watches twoset. The question I want to ask is that do anyone one of two in ballet reign, Jordan or Eden, has perfect pitch? I really want to know.
These people are just twoset but ballet- two Asian people who nerd over a specific art, love bubble tea, and have an iconic editor In conclusion, FourSet Ballet Violin (Biolin) when?
As an adult dancer who learned music as a child, i would attest that learning classical music, to read notes and coordinate with the instruments, really triggers the brain wiring to connect more. It is truly a privilege that helps with children's brain and fine motor skills development. And as for the choreography, having been in the orchestra for so long, that 1 rule really helps - you can play the wrong note, but you must move in sync with the orchestra.
Yeah, I’m not a professional dancer or musician, but played multiple instruments from early childhood through college (people thought I was a music minor because I was so involved). Similarly, I did dance for about half my childhood, then in college joined a dance club. I joined the subgroup who danced performance waltz, and almost everyone was learning the basic footwork for the first time (including me). But when the choreographer paired us, my partner and I quickly became the lead dancers that others looked to. I thought maybe we just practice more at home or are just naturally a bit more skilled. But when this video mentioned knowing the music is half the battle, and dancing to the beat, I realize that could’ve been it. My dance partner and I were both involved in the music department.
While waiting, you might want to watch their first public ballet performance - from 5 years ago: 'When Rite of Spring Takes Over You' Maybe not perfect, but definitely DARING.
sometimes my favourite bit is still when they're watching the other dancers during the energy draining bit and just look stunned - I don't know why, I love seeing people look stunned with me over watching ballet dancers
Twoset brought me here. As a former ballet dancer, I can't believe I didn't know about you. Interestingly, though, I just realized I added your silly steps video to my to watch list some days ago. Subscribed!
I think it may have been cut out for copyright reasons, but the funniest part was when Eddie said, when doing a grand plie, "I feel like I'm going to the toilet." Only Twoset.😢😅😅😅😅 Thank you for this video. I see a collaboration...
Also, I had a question here. One of the people in twoset, Brett or Eddy, had perfect pitch. You should know who that one is if you watches twoset. The question I want to ask is that do anyone one of two in ballet reign, Jordan or Eden, has perfect pitch? I really want to know.
❤❤❤❤ I was one of the people who @‘d you in their comment section. I had the absolute biggest grin on my face when I saw today’s topic!!!!!!!! ❤❤❤❤ This brought me So. Much. Joy!!! I, too, was impressed with their turnout but did want to tell Brett to rotate his hips to put less strain on his lower back 😅😂😭😭
The crossover of my dreams! :D :D You can tell the difference between the pelvic muscle control between Brett and Eddy by the standing forward fold. Brett can't get his pelvis alignment neutral to reach his toes but Eddy can! Makes sense why Eddy has better posture in his first position.
Now I need to see an in-person collab cuz the similarities between these two channels is extraordinary. There’s something that can be done; what that is I don’t know, but I seriously think it’s basically the same channel, just one’s ballet and the others violin. Same world; different countries
Never watched your video before and I must say you look and sound so natural and easy doing that. As for TeoSet , well they surely did quite well and their commitment was at no time in question. Now , they only have to practice 72 hrs per day to be getting presentable 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
New to this channel but it's giving me the same old Twoset Violin energy. The chemistry, the set up, the editing, the music, the jokes, etc., they all feel so familiar. Glad to have found this channel.
I was not aware of these guys but what a couple of good sports! Well done gentlemen! Thanks to Ballet Reign for showing this! You ladies are also very good sports!
I know nothing about ballet, but when I watched TwoSet, I was pretty impressed with their flexibility and how on beat they were with the choreography. Was hoping for someone to break down what I was seeing. Thanks! I would totally enjoy a collab too
Omg I literally just watched their video a couple days ago and then I saw that y'all had a premiere reaction video coming. Also I totally agree 100000% with y'all about non dancers having better turnout than us, it's not fair lol.
Thanks for reacting to this video! and thanks to your fans and to TwoSet for bringing me to your channel! I agree that Brett and Eddy did remarkably well for having no background in ballet!
Having taken both violin and ballet lessons as a teenie I know what they have accomplished. Especially playing the violin and dancing at the same time shows their natural talent. Vers impressive
Omg pls make a video together 🥰🫶🏻 that would be so great, as a violinist/twosetter and an athlete, I consider this a big win! 🥰 THE NERDS HAVE UNITED!! 🤣😂🫡🫡
Fantastic video ladies!!❤ So appreciate your input and breakdown. It was very, very informative, and actually a great accompanyment to Two Set Violin's video. Respect to you and for your very demanding art!! And special Respect to Eddy and Brett 🏆for their great effort and great courage to step into the unknown on camera. Bringing their unique style of highlighting the challenges in the arts and in such a humurous way as well. Thank you again🥰 and ballet on🩰🩰
I know it's probably never gonna happen, but a great uno-reverse would be if the two of you got a violin teacher to give you a crash course for a couple of hours.... and then you also dance the Four Little Swans while playing it on the violin 8'DDDD
after hours of consuming ballet content, i never stop finding it funny to see non dancer friends of professional level dancers, have natural turnout/flexibility 🏃🏽♀️🏃🏽♀️ thats kind of my case, my friend who did ballet for 10 years (she also wasnt enjoying it because she has back problems that really impacted how she danced + she has pain problems with her feet) has flat feet, more than me, and she complimented my foot arches even though id say they look normal?? i did classes as a kid, and i guess ive kept some of that flexibility, so id love to work on it more to regain some of the basics i had to learn when i was doing ballet
just watched J&E's cameo roles in TSV's latest skit! i wish it wasn't in a skit but still fun to see (except for the viola mention at the end. why did they think that was necessary?!)
Hilarious! Thanks for your comment/tip re: knowing the music really thoroughly. It really helps a lot. Also, after I took tap dance lessons (weight change is so important) my dancing improved substantially.
the 4 signets by twosetviolin is insane, I've seen them two days ago, randomly by the magic of YT algorithms, and I must say that the 4 signets is such a difficult choreography ! they are not doing badly, they have a slight difficulty with the "en dehors position", pointed feet (they shouldn't wear tennis shoes) and head synchronization ! usually it is performed by first dancers (at OPB), this is a tricky performance, everybody knows it ! Approved by me ! 🤣 bravo to the ladies of Honk Kong Ballet, they are gorgeous and very professional !
@@tiffcat1100 thanks for the correction, I am French and swan in French is "cygne" (with a C). I don't know why I have misspelled it ? sometimes the automatic correction does it, sometimes it's me ! 😇
I loved this reaction. Never heard of you girls before, but you popped up in my feed because I follow 2Set. I'm a subscriber now! Looking forward to watching more vids. Please collab with 2Set & teach them some danseur stuff. 😅
being in a show choir i full heartedly agree KNOW THE MUSIC - it’s so much easier to get the choreography down and clean it if you know the music and know the beats you need to count
ahhhh yayyyyy!!! first of all-i love u guys SMMMM second-as a violinist for 6 years/two set fan for uears and a ballerina for 12/ballet reign fan for a while, i LOVED this video sm 🤣🤣
Can you and Two Set do a boba taste test challenge🧋or baking challenge🍰Or they could teach you violin🎻. Or nutcracker collab (they learn ballet rep while you learn how to play the music)🎄
Ladies, congrats for another great video! I'm huge fan of both of your channels, you bring so much joy but also priceless insights of the world of classical music and ballet 🙂I love how you gave the boys positive constructive criticism, but also appreciated their efforts to keep up with the professionals. It would be awesome if we could see a collab with TwoSet in the future 🙂
I really hope they see this!!!!! Would love it if you could collab with them one day (maybe teach them some danseur parts and they can teach you music??)
