"So I put my arms around you and I hope that I will do no wrong."
========================================
Fandom: Legend of the Seeker
Couple/Pairing: Richard/Kahlan
Music: "Dancing" by Elisa
Requested by: Bozley01
Description: This is the story of Richard and Kahlan through season one, mostly from Kahlan's point of view. I think it follows the book storyline (Wizard's First Rule) a little more than the show does, but that's really in the eye of the viewer. Of course, "dancing" is a big freakin' metaphor. Also, I thought the lyrics really spoke to Kahlan's fear of hurting Richard with her power and yet, at the same time, she's worried that he'll hurt her because she's never felt love for anyone before.

A/N: Evidently, I have a lot of notes for my videos lately! First, Bozley01 is a goddess. There is no end to her patience. She requested this video MONTHS ago. I said I would do it, which is odd for me because I rarely take requests (AMY: I will do that GG video eventually! I'm missing clips...), but because she is an awesome friend and fabulous supporter of my videos (how many gazillion stars do I have now, Paige?) there was no way that I could say no. What she didn't know was that I spent hours - HOURS - on the video with nothing to show for it. I couldn't find a tone, color palette, ANYTHING that I liked, so I put it aside for a couple months, all the while, promising her that I was working on it (I am a LIAR).
Then, like a lightning bolt to the brain, I saw this amazing Dr. Who video by Seduff that totally inspired me, and I was off to work. Simplicity is the name of the game. All the while, I had been trying to over-edit it (which I am apt to do, like all of the time). I even sent Bozley01 a little snippet of what I'd done so she'd see I hadn't forgotten about her request. Then, just like before, I got stuck again, and the video sat dormant while I did other things. When the Legend of the Seeker finale aired, I thought, "Oh, crap, this song would work better if it were focused solely on the finale," but in the end I decided to go with what I'd already completed; so here it is. I think there is an obvious disconnect between what I'd finished before and what I did last night, but I hope it's not too bad, and, above all, I hope Paige enjoys it!
My computer is dying; therefore, I'm trying to finish old projects before starting new ones since I'm likely to lose all of them, so coming soon: "Robin Hood - Prayer of the Refugee, " which I started right after series three began...
