When you watch the entire episode including the practice you will understand what really happened! Kayla wouldn't just tell me to go up there so stop trying to jump into conclusions!
Cammie is my favorite on this show but I don't think she ready for captain just yet. I think Tamia is better equipped at handling the duties when Kayla leaves. I tend to think that while camryn is the better all around dancer Tamia is the better performer she'll know EXACTLY what to throw against a tough opponent and she won't get flustered.
chapelly7 You know what, I didn't watch the last season so I don't know how she did as captain. But Tamia is no longer there so Cammie was the best one for the job.
Honestly, I'm tired of the whole "Who should be the next captain" debate. It seems like people are always trying to play girls against each other and trying to point out who's better. Both Camryn and Tamia are great dancers. They both have their strengths and weaknesses. Yall never considered that maybe this was Camryn's first time leading a stand battle and she has so many people rooting against her that maybe she was nervous, just like I'm sure whenever Tamia gets the chance to lead, she'll be nervous as well. Give these girls a break. It's not like the fans will get to choose who becomes captain because at the end of the day, the final say so will be Mrs. Dianna's. It's her team. I'm sure she knows what she's doing.
A agree I mean does it really matter I mean like y'all going into war for just two people I mean like they both great dancers so it can go either way and if kayla let her do it then she let her do it dang its starting to get on my nerves fussing over stupid stuff
I think tamia deserves captain,she's soo fun too much and she's full of energy,her facials are everything... Camryn will have her time,I don't think she's ready...however I'm scared that just because camryn is a main cast member that they might just give her the captain spot.... I hope that's not the case tho...& if tamia does get captain hopefully we can actually hear her speak
The fact is tamia is a good dancer but she is not an all around dancer. From looking at the clips of the show alone she has poor leadership skills. If it had something to do with her being a cast member then she wouldn't have gotten head Co-captain from jump. Tamia might get to lead at the next competition
Steve Turner I completely agree that Tamia has poor leadership skills especially based on that episode when they had to work with the babies in small groups. Tamia did not have a good handle on her group and barely wanted to show the girls what they were supposed to be doing. Plus she didn't even know one of the babies names. Also, when they show her in practice many times she looks bored or like she is not even paying attention. Instead she's playing with her hair, biting her nails, or just staring off into space. I dont know I really don't see Tamia as captain material but we only have a few examples to go by so maybe she will redeem herself next season but as of right now I just can't see her leading the squad.
lol the girls in white and silver made me lol everytime the dolls dropped a stand their hands were in the air, when the other girls had their go they were just sat there lol.
Yeah you could tell especially how she looks over at Camryn as she is walking up and her whole body language changed. Considering she is head co-captain I would be a lil salty too. I wonder if that is a testament to her actual leading style bc lord knows on that episode when the big dolls had to work with the babies in small groups Tamia was not a good leader in that situation Camryn definitely outshined her leadership wise. I can't wait to see how this plays out on the show bc I'm sure having Camryn lead is part of the story line. I agree that Tamia is a beast when it comes to dancing but I do wonder if she has eveything else when it comes to being captain.
Yea that's why I think they should involve her more on the show since she will b going head to head with cameron bc mrs d knows how tamina's leadership is but we the audience should know too
writteninthestars productions True we only have what is shown on the show to go by which isn't very much. But in the end Ms. D knows these girls inside and out so she would never put a person in place if she didn't think they were ready.
N dlock Who knows. Tamia has been with the Dancing Dolls for six years almost as long as Kayla. And she is already 16/17 years old, and won't be there a whole lot longer. I'm wondering why she can't be captain instead of Camryn. She goes hard on the floor every time.
does it matter who is leader? i already escaped dance moms and their "who should lead the group" crap, lets not bring that on this show because this show is amazing and dance moms is the gum on the bottom of my shoe. The dancing dolls are FIRE, really fierce and talented and while i would love tamia to be able to talk on the show and be seen a lot at the end of the day i'm rooting for allll the girls every wednesday >:)

not putting down the other kids... but the dd4l had no business at this competition. I mean compared to the other teams, they are far,far,far more advanced. I mean the stunts alone,but the energy they had to say the least, won this hands down. I felt bad for the other teams though...but you are only as good as your teacher.
I don't even know tamia that well but I do watch bring it idk maybe she just really quiet? but on the other hand camryn is a good dancer all she needs to do is find her inner thug to bring that aggression out on the floor...I see many talking about tamia tamia tamia ...what is so special about her?? for Christ sake I never even heard her talk that much but I guess she is a good dancer.. and kayla has it all she has energy.. leader skills just everything sad to see her go though but..i don't think tamia ready to be captain maybe someone else.
I don't feel so either. Tamia deserves some shine as well. Tamia isn't really getting a chance to prove herself. I would truthfully rather have Tamia as the coach regardless, we will sow it plays out though.

what did Kayla do? Do you mean give Cammy the lead? If so, I am quite sure that Mrs. D. has total say-so over who gets to be captain next or even get shine at one of these battles. I cant wait until this airs because it will be interesting to hear.
I'm sure that Tamia will get the same opportunity as Camryn did. Not being part of the main cast won't ruin her chance to showcase her leadership skills.
Kayla let Camryn lead in this battle & I'm sure Mrs. D had something to do with that. Maybe we will see Tamia lead at another competition, so how is that not fair? I think Mrs. D is just testing both of them out, that's all!
