Dominar is the flagship bike of Bajaj. Our Test bike is brand spanking new, still with protective coating on the tyres plus the brakes have not bedded in. So, we have to take it a little bit easy and the heavens was pouring its blessings on us with all its glory..It was basically raining cats and dogs. We actually have to delete most of the videos as it was really hard to see the recorded video through fog and heavy rain. ...But the Dominar suprisingly is a really easy and enjoyable bike to ride in the wet, considering it weights 182 kg. Power is easily available, and really easy to control. Tyres are fine as wells as the brakes. Which is ABS assisted on our test bike. Slipper clutch works really great, a great plus in this kind of situation. the engine was never stressed at this speed, we rarely have to rev beyond 7,000 rpm.It comes alive as you go beyond 4,000 rpm and pulls like a freight train till 8,000 rpm where it gives 35 ps of power from the 373cc single cylinder , 4valve , water cooled engine.. we really apriciate the amount of torque it qives out at low rpm. It supposedly gives out 28Nm of torque at 3000 rpm then up to 35Nm max at 6500 rpm. Anyways hope you enjoy the video. Please don't forget to click the "Like" button and "Subscribe" button..Thanks
Info Bikes Please make english version of audio aswell ibelieved you guys will definitely gained subscribers from whole NE INDIA.as this is the only automobile youtube channel in NE asfar as am aware. Goodjobs to you guys and full support from Lamka Manipur..

Somehow all our comments on this video has been removed..and we regret that we cannot answer all your questions right now.. It goes like this..this is just a brief ride and we will have full test soon. As some of you have enquired about the location of this video..it's in Aizawl, Mizoram, India.. We rode this bike clad in proper protective gears...Full face helmets, Gloves, boots etc.
Srijith Ramachandran definitely these guys u see in video grew up with no racetrack nor race school, all they have is a small abandoned airstrip to practise what they love the most called racing, they are pure raw talented riders
I loved the video Was really concerned about your safety and nothing goes wrong in these wet situations Ride safe brother What matters is your confidence.. but still be safe.. do more rides and share it with us Looking forward for more of your work
Yeeess this i what i was looking for in the bike ,Superb -The Man, The Machine & to some extent the tyres .Good Lord ,Great Traction coming out of( 5:15) No wheel spin ,no rear Steping out & ride till end from this time like balls out of hell,Kudos . Bliss,I Love you man
All of my friends the only think that I want to tell u small trick is we should not put our bike's gear in the higher gear while doing cornering better to put it in the low gear. Or do one downshift from the gear u r in. It really helps u
It will depend greatly on how you ride. If you're into " In your face, bad ass motorcycle" doesn't care about mileage, comfort..then there's nothing better then D390. But if you'er into touring, fast cruising, and generally wanted a big capacity bike which is easy to ride..then Dominaer 400 is the one.
That is one good reply! Thanks. I have the Mojo which has a great engine but I'm not happy with it overall.. should I go ahead with the exchange to the dominar?
Really like the video , was expecting the moment when you slide and get hurt . You really push the machine enough to show us what it is capable of , amazing video , but you take a lot of risk doing so , be careful .

Camera is GoPro Hero 3+ Balck, and it's chin mounted..means the camera is mounted on the Helmet chin. We feel this is the best angle covering a wide angle , showing speedo, hand controls etc. Most importantly it really projects the actual movement of riding felt by the rider. A tank mounted came is stable but cuts out all vibrations, movement of the rider, and the footage becomes bland. Hence we felt this is the best angle.

Engine hasn't break in properly (as the tachometer says 300+ km) and it's being pushed hard. Way above the recommended speeds and rev limits. But then, it's a test vehicle.
hey how do u feel while cornering this bike it is easy to corner... because I felt that it won't easy to corner this bike because of the weight of this bike...
We do not use any protective coating on the tyres. All new tyres comes with UV protective coating to extend shelf life of the tyres. This coating comes of after 20-30 km of riding. This bike is brand new with very less mileage, so it still have the coating when this video was taken.
Brand spanking new bike..it still have the protective coating on the tyres, and the brakes have not been beded in properly..so we have to take it easy..but the bike seriously is not bad at all..considering it weights 182kg( this is the ABS version).
Guys if you're into wet weather riding , check out our RTR 200 Test video..ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ZFlpYq7TlG0.html Specially around..21:31..enjoy..
We have not encountered any heating problems in the dominar. The engine is suppose to heat up a bit, but can't say yours is heating excessively. Riding above 100kph should not cause any problem for this bike.
@@BlackHawkmw3 Do you guys ride just for the heck of it or do you even care to know about the bike or anything in general? You can't even tell that the blue light next to the Bajaj logo is for high beam?
@@BlackHawkmw3 Is this your first bike that you have ridden in your life? If yes, my bad. If no, high beam indication is universal across all platforms. Even in cars. Very weird if you can't tell.
