The royal family is landing on its feet finally. Camilla couldn’t be a better loyal charming committed member, Catherine has proved to be a gem, eliminating the crazy’s will round everything out nicely finally.
I'm so glad that Camilla has grown in her acceptance and affection of the British and people around the world. She had alot to manage and it's gone through beautifully.
Great to see her doing here fob, well prepared, completely with empathy, understanding, sort off loving understanding. I like her very much. I can see why she’s a good couple with Prince Charles.
Happiness is seeing all these children dance, including the forms accessible to the handicapped among them. This can be an important way to communicate and exercise.
Everyone who reads this, we don't know each other and probably never will but I wish you all the best in life and all the luck in the world 🥰💓🥰.........
HRH Duchess of Cornwall Camilla is encouraging every Children to do the most amusing dances in England is a very good job for the development of people of England🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
A lovely video, the children and Camilla were charming. I find Camilla very unaffected and appears down to earth and conducts herself in a manner to which people can relate.
Congratulations Duchess if Cornwall on this auspicious day of opening the Royal Academy. Will I be admitted if i apply? Can dance excellently.💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃😊
This is fun! I took ballet too, as a child, (10-13) yrs.old. It looked like there was some Modern dance expression too, there up on the stage. Did Camilla ever take dance lessons, or did she go to stage productions, watching the dance? (Like The Nutcracker, and Swan Lake)? Camilla was standing next to the prima ballerina, for the unveiling of an award. It's hard to dance on toe shoes, only experienced dancers; I mainly wore plain ballet slippers, ( demi pointe ). Even though I had toe shoes, I didn't use them much. I really like this video, and I bet everyone was proud of all the dancers in this Royal Ballet academy.
I'm an American and grew up in Southern California in the mid-50s through mid-60s. The Royal Ballet opened a studio nearby in San Marino. Two English sisters, Yvonne and Elizabeth Cusack, in their early 40's, had recently retired from the Royal Ballet in London and moved to the United States to open a RB studio. (I studied with the RB for 6 years, later studied with a Russian ballerina, and took a master class with Edward Villella, who offered me an apprenticeship.) I still remember after all these years how just to be accepted by the RB was "a bit of an ordeal!" I had to go through a preliminary examination which included being measured every which way - the circumference of my head, the length of my neck, arms and legs, the width of my shoulders. They held each foot in their hands, bending it upwards and then having me point each foot "a terre" so they could check my arch. They had me jump in place in 2nd position, then checked my flexibility by having me stand on my left leg at the ballet barre while they took my free right leg and raised it over my head. My leg just kept on going until it touched the mirror several inches PAST "12 o'clock." They didn't even have to force it. Their eyes grew big and wide, they looked at each other and laughed! They said they never saw such flexibility. Now that once flexible body is 71 years old and riddled with osteoarthritis, in my feet, knees, hips, shoulders and hands. Some days I can hardly walk because the pain is so severe, but I still have perfect turnout and don't regret a single hour spent in the ballet studio. Once a dancer, ALWAYS a dancer. 🌹
@@tiamia7139 I'm not originally from San Diego. I grew up on the East coast, in the Southern states. And the nice lady that I took ballet lessons from, was Hungarian, and she came to America in the '50's, from what used to be called "The Iron Curtain". And she told us all the sad story of how her and her husband had to leave their family, and sneak themselves onto the last train out that night that they escaped, from behind The Iron Curtain.(The Russisn side). They were from a very heavily oppressed country. Well, our ballet teacher said that for literally 10 years, the Soviet Union hounded her and her husband for defecting, (leaving and escaping to freedom, in the United States). So finally, her family told these harrassers to just leave her and her husband alone, because they told them that her and her husband were happy, and had created a new life for themselves in America. But when the time came, that our ballet teacher got the bad news that her mother had died, she hardly was able to teach class that day. She openly cried, and cried, and we all hugged her, trying to comfort her in the best way that little girls could. The oldest student was a 19 year old, and she went to the cloak room with our teacher to talk, and try to comfort her over the loss of her mother. (Our dear ballet teacher never had children of her own). See what an oppressed country, run by the old dictatorship does to people? She couldn't even see her mother before she died!! (The Berlin Wall hadn't come down yet). I am 55 yrs.old, and when I was about 10 or 11, I went to see a documentary type movie, called, The Children Of Theater Street. It's about poor children of Russia, that are all coming from ghetto type neighborhoods, and the only way for them to rise above the extreme poverty, is for them to apply and audition, at this special ballet dance company, to see if they will be accepted. They put those children through very rigorous workouts, much worse than what you were describing in your comment. And it was sad, when some of the children didn't make it, and they cried and had to go home.
@@LoveLady-wn3eg Hi there. Thanks for your response. That's really sad about your ballet teacher. There were a lot of ballet stars defecting during that period, such as Nureyev and, later, Baryshnikov. I'm 71 and very familiar with the Iron Curtain/USSR. Apparently Putin has said that he aspires to recreate "another USSR." The ruthless attacks on innocent civilians in the Ukraine are very similar to the "racial cleansings" of Hitler in the mid 30's until 1945 when WW2 ended. Putin is deliberately ordering attacks on civilian populations, private businesses, maternity and children's hospitals, apartment buildings, churches, etc. It's absolute genocide! In 2018, my daughter and I traveled to Denmark, then Germany. We stayed in an Airbnb two blocks from the remnants of the Berlin Wall. We also went on a 3 hr. tour of Sachsenhausen concentration camp just north of Berlin. We're not Jewish but I've always been deeply interested in the Holocaust. As a young girl I read The Diary of Anne Frank, watched movies and documentaries on the Holocaust. I wondered then, as I wonder now, how such evil can exist. And now with the deliberate attacks on innocent civilians in Ukraine, it is very reminiscent of the attacks on Jews, such as Kristallnacht when Nazis smashed the storefronts of Jewish-owned businesses and burned down synagogues. Several historians and top-level military are saying that what Putin is really doing to the Ukrainian people is perpetrating a racial cleansing like Hitler did to the Jews. The whole world knows Putin is evil, but this is total madness.
The operative word is CONSORT. The Queen herself brought this about so .that her eldest son and his wife would know exactly what Camilla’s status would be after her, (The Queen’s ) death. Your outrage is a touch misplaced. At last Camilla is being seen for the loyal honorable woman she is. She stuck by Charles through all those years of Diana hysteria. (May she rest in Peace, beautiful tragic woman)
very good. So this is the dancing part and some of the painting part of humans. But the more theatrical type of dancing as i can see. There each individual no matter the gender can do it equally as good. Wonderful concept.
I think she is a lovely and kind in general. Its just unfortunate that she was not favored or not qualified to be the wife of Prince Charles at the time which made her reputation more bad when she stayed and be a lover of Prince Charles while he is Married to Princess Diana. Hoping this time people will accept her as the consort for Prince Charles. Its not her fault for everything that happened to Prince Charles and Princess Dianas marriage. You cannot force people to act that they love each other when in reality are not compatible in the first place. The only great thing that happen in their marriage is having Prince William & Harry. They are a couple and support each other for years now, so wish them well!
She’s turned out to be perfect as our future King’s wife. In different times they would have been allowed to marry when they were young. They have always loved each other and the country at large could see this. Bless them.
Sit silent enter into darkness For they will no longer call you the Queen of Kingdoms Go down sit down on the ground And get thee into darkness For they will call you a lady no more Said the Lord God
Camilla is fabulous. If only the press hadn't whipped up so much hatred for decades we could have enjoyed her sooner. And with Sophie Wessex and the sublime DofC the WIndsor women are on a roll. (Charles said he was faithful til his first marriage was over: I wish they had corrected that lie more fullly-which Diana wrongly fed for her own purposes-)
Kathy soccermom And that's why the word consort was in brackets. This is necessary to provide enough context for the quote to make sense. Stop adding two and two together and coming up with five.
