imagine. leeroy thornhill, keith flint and the dancers of sl2 (jo millett and kelly overett) started all this shuffle-dance hype, which is still going strong in 2021, ~30yrs later!!! :D
@@EHBradley well dang, I’m going to find out how to do it. I’ve never been good at dancing but I simply need to dance when I hear some music, it’s just that simple. Maybe I’ll just watch this dude in slow motion for starters
@@sadeatthewhip1846 cross your legs over and over while doing the little hop, this is the first motion and to add the 'flair' that looks cool, simply flick your foot out to the side at each cross over. Keep trying it will suddenly just click and you won't stop doing it!
Heh ..., I am 50 years old and 2 children, one likes The Prodigy, the other only knows about its existence .. As you write man, for me this video is a return to the past, the past in which the body was pounding with live fire, when the music hurt because it was so vivid. I have to admit that the boy is perfecting a clean old school, normally a mix of Keith and Leeroy ... Beautiful times! I greet all fans around the world, regardless of age and back, the body is getting old but not the mind;] Sorry for the translator and greetings from Poland.
Today I have two children, over 40 years old, I feel that life is taking its toll on me for all the fun that I had in the 90s ... seeing this video from '95 made my eyes fill with tears. That beautiful time in which we danced, in which your body never told you "I can't do this", that magical time. Today old and fat I thank you for having made me remember so vividly even for a little while to that magical time of my life. Thanks and never stop dancing friends! Greetings from Argentina!
F! me great to see that the 90s are still alive... I'm 44 this year, and I used to go nuts like this all the time in the 90s ... to be frank, no wonder most of us were fit and ripped as we danced like this for hours ( usually on weekends)...
It's right lad. We bounced 2ft off the ground for 5 hours whilst only drinking water and non toxic consumables, making as many friends as we could and laughing till we thought we'd do ourselves a mischief and afterwards we bypassed the Kebab houses and without fighting, went home. And apparently that was frowned upon. Viva La Prodigy
this explains the scene in 1990/91/92 ,bang on, apart from the super athletism stuff it reminds me how i used to dance myself, with 2 yokes and a splif or two of course !!!!! walking around dublin high as a kite and off me head after the club ,just wonderful, yup yup yup !!!
Раньше нас было единицы, и люди на танцполе останавливали свой неуклюжий танец желая посмотреть на нас. У нас не было интернета, а те короткие отрывки из клипов были склеены в едино в нашем подсознание, так мы учились танцевать.
Thats was absolutely brilliant, reminds me of my bedroom back in the 90s practicing my dances moves before heading out raving, great memories and great video 👍🕺
allthough. i totally forgot. this all would not have been possible without the outstanding performance of the legendary breakdance dancer TURBO! even MJ learnt from him ;)
Soooo true! Just watched his Broom dance, and even the tune is really quite similar. Never heard of him, watching that video was a true eye-opener. Thanks!
I'm 53. I have few regrets. Of those, none are of the outrageous actions and events that occurred whilst under many many glorious substances. Though, one night in Cream, I was convinced that after many many failed practices, that I would be able to do what this legend is doing with ease and beauty. For about 3 minutes I went for it but I'm pretty sure I was performing a hybrid Charleston with heavy undertones of Irish dancing. I've watched 1000s of hours of this and my brain still doesn't get how it's done. That is my one regret. This guy is epic. I can only imagine the nights he's had. Get in Fella.
@@user-ir5wq6db8eGoooor Bless ya. Each year I say to the Wife that I've had to cross another thing off the list that I'm not allowed to do anymore. It started about 10 yrs back when I skipped for a laugh and the lower half of my right leg came out of the knee joint and turned. That was odd and disquietingly painful. This the list began. I used to start off with the Mooch and then enjoy gradually building up to full on bouncing for the next 8 hours. I popped pills when they were still in capsules. Rhubarb and Custards, Dennis The Menace etc. Even the running man would turn me into wet chalk. I'm more than happy with the memories and this guy is class. I wish I knew all the old crowd and see if I can spend my later years on Mushrooms. It's gotta be the future.....surely. Cheers matey. Happy Bouncing. 😊
Fukin love it the 90s rave scene and prodigy was my life e's and acid bouncing around oot yir nut wi thousands of people connected through music fukin brilliant best times of my life 😜 Good moves dude

Loved the raving days back then. Music that was new and felt good and everyone did 100% feel good, don't see it much these days the music nowadays makes these youngunz act like they got a problem with everything,
Wow I loved Prodigy but I was only 10 in 1995.... though I was raving before my 15th birthday.... take me back pls, turn 40 in 2 years n it's not fun 😂😂
The lad is a legend and that's exactly how prodigy and everyone at raves danced. I went to prodigy at the labyrinth in London on 27th April 1991 then back to sharky's for the after party. This was there first proper PA as I remember.
