Everyone always gives the grim reaper a bad reputation, but all he wants to do is convey you to the other side, he doesn't bring death to you, nor is he the reason you die, he is just the middle man between the worlds, he leads you away so you don't get lost, he leads you from one life to the next. He has the hardest job of all, he has to take the souls of the departed and walk with them, listening to their stories, their life, and how they hope that their family won't take their death too hard, and to move on. He walks, and listens to their regrets, and their greatest happiness. Then walks them to the other side, where ever that may be, he knows the way, but can never enter the afterlife himself.

Just like imagine you die and Death comes to take your soul, but instead of taking you on that perilous journey to the afterlife, they just say, "I've been waiting for you." and waltz with you It's a strange thing, music, and an imaginative mind.

If you listen with your eyes closed, you can really see what the music is trying to convey. In a sense its uplifting but the violin always sounds said to me. Like its heart broken and calling out to someone they lost. Trying to heal from the pain. But it never seems to cease.Each day gets better but the heart will never forget. Never forget. As if it happened in a past life. A past life memory that still haunts them to this day.

I'm shocked at how little views this has. This is probably one the better playlist of dark royal core on the platform. Shame, other much more overrated channels get the attention instead of you.

(Sorry, this is long, edgy, and probably dumb. So if you want to, you may read. But I wouldn't if I were you.) The air was cold, the night was young, the fog was thick, and only a single candle lit the still, dim study. Sitting at the desk of the study was a tired, stressed woman. She hadn't had a break in her life in years ver since she had taken up this job in the castle. She felt like she was losing all grasp of life. She hadn't left the room in days. She hadn't looked up from her paper in hours. She hadn't moved her quill in minutes. All meaning of her life had seemed to have vanished. Yes, she still had her job, and she still had her air, but that air was thick. That job dulled her life. She felt no freedom in the paragraphs she had once authored so passionately. No imagination- only the blatant lies she was told to write. She was stuck in a tight space, grasping for something- anything to let her mind be free. Her eyes finally begun to shut, tired even without work. She was exhausted- she was starving, even though she had eaten. She didn't have the energy to continue writing the blurred words she had been. "Im tha ivonl". It didn't matter to her what it really said- she remembered when her eyes were fresh and read with vigor, ready for any knowledge. It all felt so unvaried. It didn't feel like art anymore- it felt like a messy slob. She needed to leave. She couldn't stay here, or she would be suffocated. She couldn't move anymore, though. She felt like she was too late. Her quill slipped out of her hand. She slouched, and as her eyes closed the world faded away, her body clunking down onto her desk. She was almost gone- yet she still opened her eyes again. The thing was, she wasn't in her office anymore. Music filled the room. Laughs and chatting echoed throughout. People wearing elegant dresses primmed and prospered. It was a ball. She had never been to one- she was too busy with her work. This was her first time, as she wore a large gown- it was more beautiful than anyone else. Blood red with bone-like gems attached. She placed her hands onto her lavish outfit, but she wasn't able to feel the soft felt. She was wearing white gloves. She decided to explore, her shoes tapping as she traveled through the ballroom of dancers. She stopped by a golden pillar, so clean she could see her reflection. Her hair was sleek and gorgeous, longer than she had ever managed to grow it. her complexion was dazzling, the bags she had once had under her eyes gone. She also noticed the jewelry she was adorned with- it was so refined, she could've passed for the queen. That's when she heard a smooth voice behind her. "Your highness, I have a question." She gasped and quickly turned around. "May I have this dance?" The unhuman figure outstretched its hand, she took it gently. The figure led her off to the center of the room, the orchestra beginning a slow-paced song. The two began to waltz, feet aligning. The woman danced perfectly even though she had never done it before. How?... This man, the crowds, everything... it was all surreal. Even so, she couldn't help but smile. She felt a gentle breeze- the crowd disappeared. It was only her and the figure. She wished to stay here forever. Right here. "Take me with you." The woman whispered. Although the figure had no face, she had a feeling it had grinned. "I'd love to, but you know I can only take people once their time has come." The man quietly responded. She nodded. "I know, but what's the point in going back?" "Well, you'll see." The wind grew strong- the woman turned around. She was back in her study, the bookshelves filled with books. She wasn't sure if she had read them all yet. She had left a window open which was strange. She had never opened it. She got up and closed it. She turned back to her paper, sitting back at her desk. She reread it. It was everything... the ball, the dress, the song. Yes, she remembered it all clearly now. She picked her quill up once more and continued. The queen frowned. "You can't leave me here. No, not here. Not now!" She cried. The figure pulled away and bowed. "May we meet again." Yes, this was right. She remembered this wonderful feeling of creating what she loved. She knew what she wanted to do now. She wished to write stories- stories that would bring people to other places, other times, other realities to help them escape the chaos of this one. She wanted to bring peace to other people's hearts as they read something that captured them. That was what felt right to her.

You and Death waltzed across the empty stage, with no care in where you would go. “Is this the true end?” You broke the silence. “For a dancer of your kind, yes,” Death looked into your eyes, “But it won’t be this way for eternity,” “Where will I go next?” “Wherever your heart takes you,” Death smiled, looking into your eyes, “It has been a pleasure joining you for this dance.” All of a sudden, the wooden planks the stage floor were made of fell into the void of eternity, and you went along with it. As you fell, Death stared at you, seeming to be reminiscing old times. You smiled, closing your eyes and finally letting Death hold you for eternity.

A route to immortality few had ever taken. The rites of vampirism. I smiled and carefully began cutting away the parts of him that she would need. His memory, his laughter, his courage; each part adding to the melody. Once I was finished, I laid what was left to rest and wished both of them luck. As immortals go, this option is particularly dangerous.

After that, you went outside and sat on the porch, a black cat came up to you and brushed its back against your leg. It was chilly and the air was crisp, you took a deep breath. You heard leaves crunching on the street, you turned your head and noticed that it was your friend Jamie from history. They gave you a friendly wave before walking up to you. "Hey! Wanna hang out right now?" Jamie said. You were hesitant at first because your parents weren't home and they'll be worried sick if they came back and you weren't there, "Oh.. uh yeah sure". You and Jamie left the porch then started talking about school things. "You're the only one that really talks to me.. thank you" Jamie said while grabbing your arm. You felt warm inside knowing that you were the spark in Jamie's life. You guys went into the forest and sat on a tree stump. Jamie reached into their bag and pulled out a matryoshka doll and handed it to you, you played with the dolls and were fascinated by the beautiful designs. You then tried pulling yourself away but you were too weak, Jamie went on top of you with the knife in their left hand. "Jamie.." you whispered. Your parents came back home and searched the house for you, you heard them screaming your name. Tears filled your eyes as you realized that you will never see your parents again. Jamie slashed your throat, everything started to feel cloudy, your vision became dark, your fingertips lost their feel, and then.. nothing at all. My feet moved left and right, up and down, following its pace, speed, and beauty. This intricate dance only the two of us could make, there was no other feeling quite like this one. The lifts, jumps, turns, steps, everything about it was just so different from any other. It felt almost like a partnership, like a release, a let go, not even a fight, no control for power, just the two following each other's lead. The most beautiful moment where one made the other’s memories flash before their eyes, remembering all the beautiful things in life, feeling love, sadness, excitement, ah, and of course, the thrill of death. This moment, this dance, this is what death feels like to someone who has looked forward to it for so long, the excitement to finally feel something new, the release, and the absolute beauty of finally letting go. This wonderful feeling of all the pain finally releasing, the weights being pushed off of my chest as death dances with me for the last and final time, this time it was real. This time, it wouldn't tease me.
