I’m always VAL ALL THE WAY, so since Xochitl was his partner I was glad for her win. In the opening she was talking about the dress she was going to wear later, pink with polka dots. She told Julianne it was one Witney had worn, she hoped the good luck would rub off. I happened to see the clip of Witney in that dress. It was season 19. She slipped on the dress and caused a big mess up. She was crying afterwards because Len took off a point. Well, shoot. He gave them an 8, the other judges gave 9s. I don’t think that’s bad a bad score. She just felt bad because it was her fault. Glad Xochitl didn’t know that. (Every pro is a human, Witney, Honey. Things happen.) I miss her so much.

In terms of CAI favoring Xochitl, I respectfully disagree. Xochitl was underscored week 1 for her Cha Cha, with CAI giving Barry the same score of 6 . She called Xochitl out for losing focus on her amazing QuickStep Taylor Swift nite, docking her a point. Video Music Nite she was scored 8s & 9s for not being her usual self. Judges’ bonus points from their Cha Cha dance off were given to Charity . All positive comments & 10s from judges on Xochitl’s dances & performances I strongly feel , she’s truly earned & deserved.

Calling foul. Beautiful dance however there was an obvious mistake where she did not catch Val’s hand. CarrieAnn said she thought the other couple might have made a mistake and gave them a nine.

No foul imo. There was no mess up. There was a missed hand grab however it did not throw them off their routine nor did it cause them to miss a beat. Their foxtrot deserved all 10s . Congratulations Xochitl & Val on ur very well deserved win!!!
