Great playing Brett and great sounds from that guitar! I don't usually add to comments from other fellows, but in this instance I will. Over the years I've owned many 12-string guitars, starting with a 1960s Ricky 360-12 like McGuinn's, back in the day. I loved the sound but didn't use it much, and gave it to my younger brother, who traded it for a Fender acoustic 12-string... Anyway, I've owned just about every 12-string electric ever made, and was quite impressed with the Dano 12-string (the prior model), and also very surprised at how nice the rare Italia electric 12 string is. It has a great wide and flat neck, it's easy to play and sounded quite nice (has humbucker pickups). But ..... there's nothing that sounds like a real Ricky 12-string with the toaster pickups, and even though the necks are "challenging." it comes out on top soundwise for me. I currently own a 2012 360-12C63 George Harrison reissue in Jetglow. It sounds like what a 12-string should sound like. Add a little compression and reverb, and you are in absolute jangle heaven. I added a 12-saddle bridge, and 12-hole trapeze tailpiece for tuning and stability, and it's strung with Pyramid flatwounds which last forever. Aside from the narrow neck, which is what it is, it has that SOUND, like no other guitar made. Once you get hooked by a Ricky, you don't go back.

I don't know when it will be available, I'm sorry. I'd have to defer to Danelectro for that answer. Can't help with 12/6 question either, although I'd be keen to snaffle one if they're ever built. The Axe patch was written by me. I'll upload it once we're out of beta (which it was written in).

You are right. I had to inspect with better spectacles! I think I must have knocked it when unboxing. It's pretty stable once re-saddled though. No dramas.
