Daneliya Tuleshova【Alive】AGT Finals Vocal Analysis 

imagine she had only 3-4 days to learn that song, rehearse it, talk with AGT about the staging and her outfit. For me - she did great even she went the safe way and didn't tried the really high notes. Well done little Kazakh princess.

Daneliya admitted she was tired and a made a mistake after having to learn so much so quickly. She made a short video about what she would do if she won with AGT. I don’t think she expected to win, she is pretty tough on herself and a realist. There’s nothing fake with her, she’s no diva just a lovely teenager who has got her head together. Her aim in life is not just to be a singer - she wants to be super intelligent too. Kudos to her and her family!

I think another fan may have commented that Daneliya had only been able to perform the song in rehearsal 2 times, having gotten the arrangement back only 3 or 4 days prior to the performance. That’s an amazing accomplishment for any artist- let alone one who is so young. Daneliya never fails to impress us. She said that she wanted to perform this song specifically because of its challenging complexity. She could have opted for a run-of-the-mill timeless classic, but that’s not her style. She pushed the envelope and broke into new ground that the show had never seen before. Now that the show season has ended, it will be interesting to see what new challenges she takes on, following a well-deserved vacation. Very well done, Daneliya! Very well done, indeed.

This song is hard even for Sia. Daneliya did say that she was nervous and tire because she only 3 to 4 days to prepare. So she did a great job.

Daneliya‘s arrangement is deliberately darker and more aggressive than Sia’s. She really made it her own as she always does, because she never just „copies“ ... And all this after only 3-4 days time for preparation ...

There is something magical in Daneliyas kind of singing. I have heard so many singers in my life, but none of them have reached the versatility and expressiveness of this young lady. Like a chameleon she can shape her vocal colours to all occasions. The same with your explanations. They gave me more insights in a few minutes, than hours of listening to other vocal teachers.

Well as far as her abilities go, for me it is very clear because I have been in the music industry for over 20 years and I have an extremely large selection of music and female vocalists and I have to be honest this girl can really show a variety of vocal tones and power in every word she speaks. I think for her age she is clearly above and beyond a lot of the professional artists that have been singing to us for many years. I am a fan of daneliyas and I am just calling it as I see it and hear it. No prejudiced And no biased and only will I tell the truth. :-)

I love how she puts on vocal effects that can't get enough of listening to just listen to two three and I can't get enough. One album of hers would be nice to buy, see shows for that, sounds strong, soft, pleasant, sonorous Even with mistakes and I don't believe that the American public has so much technical auditory perception to punish their presentation for that still think she is better than the others because of the texture. I didn't find a fair result ( Im from Brazil)

Even professional singers miss a nite here or there live. The way she handled being slightly off key was the sign of a true professional. She didnt even miss a beat from being slightly off key and that is a sign of real maturity and skill.

I felt bad for her because I could see her wearing down as time passed. I'm not sure where in the time line that she and Ava Max did there song together. I know Ava was impressed. Daneliya is such a workaholic and she is so slight of build that I worry that she uses herself up before she let's someone know she might be in trouble.

Funny you mention the off-pitch part because that was the part that I didn´t really liked of the performance but not because of the off-pitch (i didn´t noticed) but because I thought she was going Highter and she didn´t so it seemed kind of Off.... Also Daneliya did mention she did a few mistakes this time because she was tired, now i see what she meant with that. Thank you for this you are brilliant

Hi first time to listen to you and you have the essence of Daneliya really well. A 14 year old makes your hair move after 4 or 5 notes. It's like when you go over a bump when driving and you get a funny feeling in your stomach. And a lot of what she sings is about things that she has not gone through yet. But for whatever reason she stroms the strings of your soul. I find her totally amazing. Pure magic then I think 14 years old and that's more amazing again. She has a gift, and so beautiful inside and out. I dont no what more can one say ? 😇😼😇

I think Daneliya did fantastic job on a hard song with virtually a couple of days to get it ready. Part of being a good singer is covering possible flaws. Daneliya smoothed out two spots that I know of by choices made on the fly that kept the integrity of the song with minimal distraction. Daneliya is performing at a professional level and though I feel she should have made it at least to the top 5. She is 14 with no expectation to do anything which is a perfect spot to be in for someone who has a strong reason to be in school. Daneliya got the most from her run without having to commit to anything. She sang and received some heady praise from one of her favorite singers, Ava Max. Plus she learned that not everything operates on her timetable. Having to get a big song ready took a lot out of her and even though she was exhausted she reached deep and pulled out a great performance. Daneliya has a lot to be proud of and America fell in love with her. We all have a lot to look forward to with this beautiful and talented girl.

Hi, Ms Fabelyn, Nice and pro reaction, you said that Daneliya has a bit off pitch, what if she did it on purpose, because I knew that her vocal music coach was coming with her. I feel that off pitched verse make this song special, feel different. But anyway really like your reaction👍👍👍 hope you could do react to give analysis to some of her awesome covers and originals. Ah.. almost forget to say, Daneliya has ability to express the song maybe is one of her gifted ability, because she already can do that since she was 9, when she first time become a winner for kazakshtan kids under 12, eventhough many off pitched voice, but because of her ability to expreas the song, made her be the winner. You are spot on! Dont forget her duo with Ava Max! Her English has gotten so much better by doing this show too, She is barely 14, I truly think we wont be able to think of her as a teen singer anymore, this show help her grow leaps and bounds, I guess she could do Agt champions, then when she’s sixteen she could do the Voice, I just wanted her to win for the money, then she can keep all the scammer's away, so wouldn't put alot of pressure on herself, I wonder how many people will go to the Casino to watch a poet, I imagine someone will sign her to a Las Vegas show for a little bit, I think she can't sort through all the offer's, one fan wants to start a fund to Stardom for Daneliya, whatever happens she is no a longer a child or even a teen Super Star, she is a young Woman!

Can you comment on her not going to the same high notes in the chorus as Sia does in the original? Do you think it was an artistic choice, or she cannot reach them or didn't want to risk not reaching those? The performance was phenominal I thought. If you want to see her best emotional transport listen to "not your war" on the voice kids ukraine final. With only ten years she could transport the massage of that Ukranian anti-war song so good that she moves everyone to tears. Be sure to check out the lyrics before or there is a lyrics video. If you know what she si gs it's so much more powerful!

Always a fan of Daneliya, her performances are amazing for a young lady her age. This song is on my "Top 40" playlist, along with others she has covered and of course Amira also. I also enjoy your analysis of performances, they help people who have no knowledge of singing understand why performers are so good and some mistakes they make that we don't hear. I would love to see you do an analysis of Lucy Thomas, a 15 Yr UK lady who was voted out in the semi-finals of season two, Voice Kids UK. Signed a record deal soon after and has two albums. the error from her singing the song is exactly what I think of. And that is also why she is not in top 5 got talent. But I am her fan.

Now I have to go hear you react to Angelina Jordan. She is the most pitchy, FAMOUS young singer there is, but she has sooo many fans, and I do not get it. Am I the only other one who can hear it. Her Bohemian Rhapsody was awful, but those who reacted to her loved hr as if she was the second coming.

Daneliya has no personality, just a great voice which she uses like a musical instrument. She is a singer, not a PERFORMER, and she mailed this one in. If she wanted to win AGT she should have done Cold Hearted by Paula Abdule while dancing in front of a picture of Simon Cowell and giving him a death stare, or she should have sun Midnight Train To Georgia, changed the lyrics to "Moscow proved too much for the man," and sang it like she thought it was a Russian torch song. Either way, she would have connected with the audience. Compare her to Courtney Hadwin and you'll see why Daneliya was sent home. She had a perfect opportunity to take over America and blew it. Hopefully she'll get another.
