Great question. I have combination skin. I skip eye primers and apply this product directly over bare skin. (Actually, I use eye cream in the morning but not necessarily right before makeup) Also, I use a creamy, emollient concealer to blend the edges of the product on my brow bone. The emollience from the concealer may be helping with the dry texture because it looks so smooth throughout the day. On my lids, I always set this product with a powder eyeshadow, loose or pressed. I do not experience creasing or discomfort. I hope these tips will help. Let me know.
