True actually. Nitesh tiwari is good no doubt but Aamir has some xfactors to provide mega blockbuster. He means director like aushtosh, Rakesh Mehra were super hit with Aamir but after that....

Best scene in Dangal. It provokes you, especially when Mahavir starts losing breath. My take is that it's also about how Geeta finally sets free from her Dad, starting from throwing wrestling on her from childhood to that current state where she's in a competition. Even her Dad can't stop her.

This is arguably the best scene of the movie...Hats to all the actors, Nitesh and entire crew involved in the making of this scene. This to me emphasizes why Aamir didn't use Body suit to match the physique of Mahavirjee and chose to put on weight instead. Great work everyone !!

If as the director and the writer doubted that if a father can be so harsh when it comes to questioning his skills, then you probably didn't read or watch great biographies or champions. Amir is a true genius.

Nitesh Sir, you would remain my quiet champion of details, sensitivity and compassion - I remember I was so much at the edge of my seat while watching Dangal, almost feeling in my body the pounding and dumping in the wrestling scenes and so much more. I couldn't believe that such a quiet, soft spoken person as you could have created the genius scenes and experience as Dangal continues to be even as I was watching this. I was pleasantly surprised when I watched the ending of Bhoothnath Returns to realise that you had created and helmed it. I have done quite a number of corporate training programmes on a competency called Detail Consciousness and you and your movies are the case study I present there. I would love to meet you someday and interview you for my book. I hope I can meet you. Atma Namaste _/\_ sree

I would love to have several inputs from SLB on several scenes. One particular I'd say from 'Goliyon ki rasleela Ramleela'. One where Ranveer and Deepika both are called for a meeting representing their clans and negotiate truce. I loved that scene. It somehow even had some comic with the "Khotya phone che, selfie click karni hain!" In the midst of the emotional scene!

This is truly an amazing scene , however , I do feel that the mid shot of Mahavir heavily breathing to signify him getting tired was a bit too much , the choreography was brilliant itself for us to know that fact , but then the added shots of showing Mahavir heavily breathing were completely unnecessary. Dangal is one movie that respects it’s audience and I feel like in the same spirit they shouldn’t have added that shot coz the choreography on its won was brilliant enough for us to know .

i somehow didn't like teh initial portion of this scene Mahavir is going to teach a lesson to geeta his reaction being a father should have been more docile as a parent when we rebuke our kids we do it mildly the way aamir played it initially it seems he is gearing up to wrestle a bout with an outsider....a little bit of laidbackness added with the surprise factor when geeta starts to dominate him would have been even betterr...anyways it all looks so easy talking from here.
