nah, i don't know japanese language and i can understand these games exclusively through english translation, but i don't find any of japanese voiclines weird (including DR:2 charaters which are not featured in this video, but i like their japanese lines as well). more than anything, i find them interesting and frankly fascinating, because you know, those are the original voices. the only one that caught me off guard was "ENOSHIMA JUNKO-CHAN!" because, isn't the suffix "chan" used when talking to or about someone in a polite way? yet junko introduces herself in a third person? is that it? that's so weird, but also kinda cool because it makes sense for her character, she is actually out of her mind.
