After a lot of patience from everyone, we’ve finally reached our goal and are able to release the beginning of chapter 1! Please bear in mind, we have just only received all assets and we’re still currently editing. We've ultimately decided, in order to keep releasing content and motivating our team, we've decided to release our series in batches! We're going to release a couple of episodes first, then the next few batches, and so forth. Releasing them in batches allows us to release content and edit them as they're being released too, whilst also giving you guys content to watch and not wait for a very long time for the full chapter. It also allows us to give you information without needing the information from the previous episodes, e.g: We will NOT be releasing an episode mid trial, those will come together.

We recommend AD-BLOCKER for this one as a free sample got monetized for some reason... MORE BELOW. A few technical hiccup notes for this episode as it's LONG. - There are a couple of typos that happened while editing this video (you can turn on typo fix subtitles). Unfortunately, going back to fix them after a 20-hour render was not a smart move, so please don't mind them. - A small hiccup in one of the voiced lines is also present. Again, same reasons as before for being unable to fix apply. - The credits did not feature in this episode as the editing software made it extremely hard for our PC to render that as well. I have a theory for how one of the killings will happen in the series. As shown in this episode, the walls in the girls bathroom is thin and people in it could be heard from the incinerator and we have Twin, who can mimic people’s voices, so my theory is that he will kill in the girls bathroom while imitating someone’s voice and someone at the incinerator will hear his imitation and accuse whoever’s voice as being the blackened.

You got any ideas? I was thinking that if there’s a “traitor” or “mastermind” it would be among the people who spoke, but none of them seem especially suspicious for now. The only line that might matter is if Rox were kidnapped before they could legally drink; even so, it’s a stretch. Frankly, it seems most likely that Corza, Rox, and Cross are all innocent, or that Corza helped set up the killing game and then had his memories wiped. I do find it odd though, if they were Ultimates, why aren’t the majority of them doing a task related to their talent? You’d think a journalist would be out reporting, an entrepreneur setting up a business, etc. Since it’s also a truth bullet, it seems apparent that some/all of them aren’t Ultimates. Edit: It was still bugging me, so I went back again and it seems when each character talked about what they did before being kidnapped, Rox was the only one to list something that was unrelated to her backstory (If you count Cancel watching TV as part of her desire to live in a fairy tale). So that might have significance later.

It's seem that Corza is the one who set the killing game and get betrayed somehow. He is a game designer and it makes sense. The soundproof idea is the one of the new gimmick. I don't expect anyone to come up with that idea except for good game designer.

I like how there's like three people acting against the group instead of one antagonist, i mean with those insanely cool moraiteru sprites and the way she acts (gosh i love herrr) and then we have cross not being afraid to call people out (i can die for his new sprites in the discussion with that smile tho) and then we have Anon, who doesn't talk much but has a point whenever he talks. And he has this "we shouldn't trust each other easily" thing going on. Ans although everyone is my fav character, Anon definitely has his top tier place for me 😂

YEEESSSS!!! I loved the beginning before the current events, really showed that Enigma felt really guilty when he said that to his mom. I also loved the Cheesecake scene, that was adorable when Enigma failed to play the tough guy act, and the playful interaction with Rox. Totally ship em, I just hope this goes on. And I loved the Evocation Discussion, every Danganronpa character should have done that, that’s actually a smart thing to do when it’s time to unravel mysteries. Keep it up you guys! Worshiping you for realizing the smart thing and have these guys explore it! Especially being grown ups, that’s really a nice touch.

I don't know if someone already pointed this out, but one thing i'm really loving about this series are the characters. Everyone has their own personality but they don't stick with it all the time, i don't know, I just feel has if we "know them better". Also, everyone (expect for Anon and Enigma), has an "actual" talent. Yes, we aren't sure if they're real Ultimates, but they actually did something to be called like that, it's not like someone gained their title because they litterly just born. (sorry for eventual grammatical errors, english is not my first language)

I watched this this morning, and I have to say I am loving the new sprites - when Cross did that dramatic pose, I had to pause for a moment to compose myself, it was so majestic. This is so well done and it is honestly so amazing, I've been theorising on who's gonna die first and who the killer could be. I was sort of expecting this episode to end with them finding a body, but I was pleasantly surprised to see them all still alive and well for now.

It's probably not that they trust Anon more, it's that the cast sees the hypocrisy in Rox and Corza expecting everyone to trust them while they're unwilling to do the same. Anon is obviously suspicious, but it's more of a lost cause since he's not even trying with them.

I absolutely love design of Rule. (I think the design is better than monokuma's.) It looks like Rules tail is on fire which considering this game has a theme of temperatures like hot and cold, I think the design is good and fits. Edit: I LOVE THE SOUND OF HIS FOOTSTEPS THERE SO CUTE

One of my working theories is that each individual retained a certain piece of information unique to them regarding their situation. For instance, Enigma had extra memories about his kidnapping while Rox and Corza seem to know things about Monokuma and Rule. I imagine that each person has some unique information, but they might not even know it

Everything about this series is so amazing you can tell it's a labor of love I really love the writing I like how it's able to convey the feelings the characters are having perfectly it's very immersive like you can really feel the tension when the cast is getting into an argument the cast has wonderful chemistry it feels more mature then the original series it doesn't get to goofy or over do anything with the comedy Shout out to the editor I'm sure it's a ton of work to put everything together and turn it into the final product you do a great job of making sure everything is clean and crisp the ui looks great and compliments the series so well it's honestly really cool it makes me wanna learn how to edit stuff The voice actors are really talented and the team really understands how to use them to compliment the series like that one scene this episode anon kinda reality checks everyone about the party the voice acting really had an impact on that scene The artist and composers are great to Everything you've done with the series is honestly inspiring keep up the good work

I love these characters. Holy smokes. I love them so much. Anyhow, as someone who enjoys character development and writing- I cannot wait to see how the angst hits. Nothing like subjecting your favorite characters to immense trauma, am I right? Anywhooo, kudos to the team. 100000/10. Dear lord so many red flags...my brain is going nuts trying to think of what could be going on with some of the characters, plus the Evocation Discussion caught me off guard a bit, but it was interesting, I like learning about these characters even if 2 of them are not gonna be around with us for too much longer... Enigma’s sweet tooth...damn I can relate to that as a guy who loves sweets too... A lot more questions were raised here, and the tension just keeps going up and up as the characters ask them. I’m scared to see when it’ll hit the breaking point and someone snaps, which means you guys are doing a fantastic job at all of this. The biggest things that caught my eye for this episode is the party, in which I already have an idea or two as to how a killer might strike, and the questioning of their Ultimate status. That question is very interesting considering how the Games have shown the students being dubbed Ultimate’s, and it does make me curious as to what these 14 students have in common...as, at least for the moment, it doesn’t seem to have anything to do with Hope’s Peak. But we shall see, there’s still a lot more left to see. I look forward to the next episode whenever it’s coming out!!!! And because this is a common trend in my comments. Current Best Girl:Still Rissi. She’s so precious!!! And her mom has dementia!? Damn...as someone who saw that first hand with my granny, it can be...a hard thing to see. Now I just wanna hug this sweet cinnamon roll of a dentist!!!!!!

Honestly, there's a lot that could be said about this episode. I could easily mention how the character screen time is perfectly split or even the crazy strong setup for an even crazier huge part of the cast (Enigma, Moraiteru, Cross, Scarlet, Corza, Rox, Anon and Rock) that doesn't feel too forceful at all. I could point out how much Evocation Discussions is a simple yet so logical concept that holds a lot of potential but the thing that strikes me most is the surprisingly good pacing for a story that wants to tackle so many backstories so quickly and how good the decision of going with a slow pace story really is. I'm really enjoying the direction of this series for the moment, having all the characters alive by Episode 6 (Plus all the great free time events) is going to make them all much more likable in the long run but will also make the first trial much more enjoyable. Some of the setups for the first murder are quite obvious (except if they are red herrings, in this case I clearly fell for them). For example, I'd be very surprised if the E-Handbook that can order food doesn't come up as a way to counter someone saying that he/she was out of their room to get something to eat, but then again, having Rule straight up give them info on how to make a good murder is also a good way to subvert those expectations.

I have a “theory” of sorts that I’m banking on being a thing either this chapter or later. Rock and Rox are two characters with arguably high chances of death, as well as two very similar names. The codenames are apparently very important to the plot. As such, it’s entirely possible that during a murder, someone may overhear the killer or victim say “Rox” or “Rock’s” and mistake one word for the other. This would, of course, throw ppl off regarding which is the character being spoken of. The two are even placed next to each other in order during the intro, which I feel is done intentionally so we think about the twist after the fact going forward whenever the intro plays??? Maybe???

Characters, atmosphere, voice acting, Writtiing...Everything so far has been so amazingly done that makes me so engaged in the story to the point I care and love for all of them. I love how this cast works so well both as a group and individuals. They are not only sticking with the same person over and over and it's so neat to see new interactions. And talking about interactions...They are great as always. I laughed when Enigma scared Pocket or when Twin copied Rule and that's one thing I must give props to all of you working on the protag: you know when and where to use comedy and when it's time to talk serious. And that it's thanks to the writtiing being written so well so far and the amazingly done voice acting. The way Anon talked in the end, alongside the current distrust between characters, felt so eerie that it made the atmosphere heavy. I'm so engaged in the story that I can't wait for the next episode!

The limited food per person thing is something that could easily be very relevant later. Does Rox recognize Monokuma because she's a killing game survivor? I'm not sure what to make of Rule. He seems most of the time to be cool, collected and above everything but he also has some very manic moments (I loved Twin imitating him though). In relation to the trust thing: trusting others can certainly get you killed but distrust is just as dangerous and the people in killing games who promote it as if it's the logical path are dumb.

Meaning only half of him is a killer. And maybe the other half tried to stop it with all his might. That would make for a very unique change, and would mean the execution could be only half successful.

Relating my experience with watching as I do it: 1. Pocket took the scaring thing like a chump, bonus point for him. 2. Enigma loving cheesecakes is kinda cute. 3. Rox and Enigma are a good duo, I hope they will stay friends for long. 4. Enigma is too sassy, I can't get over that. 5. They're all so fun characters to watch, job well done, writers. 6. That's V3-ass suggestions you're doing there, Moraiteru. 7. Man, Anon is creepy as fuck. Props for the voice actor, they perform amazingly. Done.
