Diana is really cool, you really bring her to life. Can't wait to play the Game!!... wait actually do you know where I can play the Prologue when it releases?
In the prolog, Eva is the only one who objects to Wolfgang and his sense of justice. Perhaps since she lies so much, she is also good at sensing lies in others, and suspected something off about him. Wolfgang also has a sheep on his clothing and 'wolf' is part of his name, possibly making him the wolf in sheep's clothing. There's probably more to Wolfgang than meets the eye. Whether or not that'll make him a killer remains to be seen.
I can see Wolfgang as someone who has good intentions but eventually he’ll go off the deep end. He just wants the game to stop and he may kill to end it and get out.
[Spoilers for DRA chapter 2] I think something like what happened between Akane and Ayame in chapter 2 could unfold between them. Let's say that the victim (Ingrid for example) attacks Diana, The latter tries to defend herself and accidentally puts Ingrid in a fatal state. Eloise sights Diana running past her leaving traces of blood behind. Eloise is curious and decides to follow the blood and finds Ingrid bleeding to death on the floor. Ingrid tells her that Diana is the one who did this. Eloise becomes shock but then takes a big initiative. Mercy-killing Ingrid and sacrificing herself at the same time to save Diana and Ingrid from dying painful deaths.
@noiseydakota Omg that sounds like it's going to hurt so much when a character dies and you don't know who it is and you'll lose a fellow cast member :(
Hiya! Voice of Cassidy Amber here, I’m really excited to see how your predictions check out after the game is completely 100% out (because we the cast literally know only as much as you guys do😂) And I CAN’T wait to see your playthrough when the prologue comes out! 🙌👌❤️
I hadn't heard of the game before today, but I'm really looking forward to it now! I'll make sure to play it as soon as it becomes available, and good luck with the production!
Hi Weeby, I’m the VA of Wenona! I loved hearing your predictions for all the characters, each of them are so thought out and I enjoyed hearing all of them. Also, Wenona Council Assemble✊! Can’t wait to see you react to the prologue 💙
For Jett, I think another reason he hates showers is because it would be extremely painful for him since a lot of his skin has been burnt, and that would naturally make it more sensitive due to nerve damage and other factors.
Desmond is really interesting to me. Outside of his talent, sharks are often portrayed as ruthless, bloodthirsty predators that everyone should be scared of. And while they are predators, with some even being apex, they're also really misunderstood and the vast majority are harmless and/or have never attacked humans. To me, his talent being the ultimate marksman, as well as his symbolic animal being a shark, leads me to think that his entire arc will be about how the other students have a biased and unfavorable view of him despite him being a nice, caring character who's looking out for the group.
There is no way Jett is actually Jett. His animal is the coyote, implying cunning or possible trickery. My guess is that the real Jett died in that accident, and this new Jett is someone planted to take his place because the drag racing company didn't want to face questions/public repercussions for a competitor's death.
glad to see I'm not the only one who had this exact thought, especially when you take into account that allegedly nobody has seen his actual face & he's not actually been in a race since the accident (also because basically any time a potential suspect is mentioned to have survived a vehicular accident of some kind years in the past in a mystery story I immediately become suspicious lmao) Jett is hands-down my favourite character thus far but I could definitely see a Mondo-style situation where the organisers threaten to "out" everybody's deepest-held secrets, and Jett ends up killing somebody over it (or otherwise kills someone due to the secret being in the balance in some way)
@@rb.v I mean if the theory is correct then the real Jett would've been already dead for at least a year before the game, so technically he'd actually die *twice* 😭
I kinda do see a direction of him being a plot twist mastermind, him playing dumb or comic relief is just misdirection when he's actually really clever and cunning, his coyote motif is also a double meaning that symbolizes trickster or creator.
I could actually see this being correct. According to a quick Google search I did a few minutes ago, burns- even the most severe ones- usually never take more than eight weeks to heal.
I strongly suspect Eloise will end up a culprit. She is just too adorable not to be hiding something, plus her "blending into the crowd" is suspicious. Plus she has a combat-oriented talent... I suspect she will end up accidentally killing someone, maybe in the middle of a trauma response. Also, Damon and Wolfgang are 100% designed to be foils. They both have outfits with a similar structure (suit, shirt, tie) and their accent colours (green and purple) are complementary secondary colours. I think Wolfgang will end up being slowly corrupted throughout the story and end up a killer
Welcome to danganronpa, where the angelic ones are suspected be sadistic killers while the rude asshats of the beginning are expected get their character arc throughout the game
Sheeps are also used to represent followers of something (usually religious cults). So there´s also the possibility of him secretly working with the mastermind. Specially if Tozu and Mara are indeed highly connected to a cult that he could be part of. Also, his name is literally WOLF-gan Akire. So the wolf in sheep´s clothing idea is even more probable if he is truly some kind of traitor among the group or someone that secretly helps to instigate the motives for the murders. Specially if he really acts as a rival to the protagonist, with them trusting more in him than Damon. And them following Wolfgan like sheeps.
Using the butterfly as the animal to symbolize the Ultimate Influencer is interesting, since butterflies can symbolize rebirth and transformation as well as beauty. Part of me feels like he could actually undergo a character arc were he learns that he's not always in the right, that apologizing isn't a bad thing and to use his influence for good instead of petty, selfish internet stuff. Maybe it's not that deep but I'd prefer that to another self obsessed influencer character who's only there to be the antagonist and/or the butt of the joke.
I agree; I feel like more than beauty most butterfly theming in fiction is about growth or change (and the butterfly effect sometimes too). Whether that's foreshadowing that he'll get an arc, a hint at his backstory (maybe feeling like an outcast before becoming an influencer), or both I'm not sure on though.
@@leome9603 That's probably what it's supposed to mean. I just wanted to point out other symbolism about butterflies because I really want him to have a character arc. He probably isn't going to get one but I can dream.
If they dont make Wenona evil I could see her taking the "I don't like unions" thing and possibly using it as a "Im ruthless but actually treat my people the way they should be treated" because she could see unions as something companies shouldnt need if they did right by their people to begin with. Her being good or bad both seem like fun ideas tho
One of the dislikes of the Ultimate Influencer whose design is clearly inspired by TikTokers being "apologizing" is the funniest slight ever and I will absolutely be keeping up with this fangan as it continues because of it.
Damon definitly gives me the impression that he starts by being extremly confident in his talent and heavily depending on it to make himself feel appreciated and relevant. He might be a good talker and very persuasive but while the story starts to unravel, he realizes that he may be talanted but that there is always someone who will be better, therefore he starts to depend and rely more on others than just himself and his talent. I can see him and Eva growing closer over time but I could also see the opposite happening if we consider their animals being Snake for Damon and Crow for Eva. It‘s probably most likely that the Animals that are given to each character have no way deeper meaning. I doubt they would give away that much just from symbolization.
I think the animals probably do have deeper meaning to the character personalities but not necessarily who kills or dies. I really doubt that naming the kind sweet sheep character Wolfgang was a coincidence, same with the MC having a snake in a game themed on the garden of Eden. The fun thing about Danganronpa is that being kind and good is not necessarily mutually exclusive with being a killer.
@@stars4809 Oh yeah the animals having some kind of correlation to their personalities is very likely, otherwise why even distribute these symbols to each character anyway.
Wolfgang having the birthmark around his chin area might also be an indication for his injuries/burdens of his previous life. If you can accept your birthmarks it‘s supposed to mean that you have overcome your injuries/burdens in your previous life but if you reject your birthmark(s) it reflects that there are still injuries/burdens that werent recovered. Knowing this his symbole of being a Sheep as well as his Name being „Wolfgang“ literally meaning wolf and path/journey, might show that he as the wolf is still dealing with past trauma eating the sheeps that he also wants to resemble. This further is implicated with his Surname „Akire“ or also 諒怜 (諒 means "reveal." 怜 means "clever.") The reveal part is the most interesting really, it amplifies my theory of him having potentially a weak or burdened side to himself that he would rather remove or completely destroy (potentially his birthmark?). The „reveal“ in his Name is something rather hidden and you wouldn‘t really find out unless you do some deep dive information research, which may indicate that he is very perceptive and knows how to not show his true colors or in our case his hurting and burdens he may be bearing.
I wholeheartedly believe that, considering that the name of WOLF is his first name, while his sheep name is seemingly hidden and only visible due to contrasting with his suit (who he is), Wolfgang is someone who wishes to make himself seem as a wolf, a leader, rather than a sheep, someone who is a follower. Both considering the role of the sheep biblically and what you’ve said (which is fucking awesome btw I’ve never considered this) I really agree with your analysis and I do believe that ultimately his arc is one where he attempts to prove himself in the killing game by rejecting it as a whole, but ultimately revealing himself as a sheep and dying at chapter 3, which would be a turning point in the game as the characters go from getting their bearings to discovering the truth of the game.
People may have already mentioned this but Damon's name is quite revealing. (Whether Damon is bad or the Eden's Project team are making him seem bad only to pull a twist, I'm not sure.) So Damon means 'to overpower/tame/subdue/conquer', & in German means 'Demon'. In the context of Eden's Garden this may indicate that Damon isn't 'good' or it's made to look that way but will be subverted in some way.
*just another thing to add to the other signs that the creators have put into his design (what we've seen so far) that hint towards potentially being an 'evil' character. Also this is an awesome video ! Love hearing theories & so looking forward to the project being released. 😊
I think the fact that the game is being broadcasted, as well the motif of Eden’s garden in the game, really highlights a theme I’ve been noticing in all the characters in that they’re deeply affected by how people observe them, from Grace constantly overworking herself to be the best, to Toshiko feigning maturity to seemingly let others take her seriously, to how Damon takes his talent seriously and worked hard to be seen as an ultimate (this is all stuff I’ve expanded on in the theory channel). Truly I think one of the main motives throughout the game will be how the characters are seen by their peers and by the world around them, and though it’s really early on I think the ultimate (hehe) theme of the game is learning to be at peace with your self-image and how the world perceives you.
I can see one of the motives in this game being like the second one in THH, like maybe Tozu and Mara would threaten to expose their secrets, or spread false information to damage their reputation.
I was thinking something similarly, about many of them being conscientious of how they're perceived, due to the visual symbolism of how a lot of their profiles depict them having a shadow silhouette behind them with one eye visible staring out from it. This led me to think a lot of them probably have some aspect of themselves they're hiding or that isn't immediately apparent, and as I and you said before, that they're very aware of how others see them.
Damn I havent noticed that but that makes a lot of sense. Every character's talent kinda relies on how others see them and how good their reputation is, but if it's as you say that immediately makes me think that Kai is gonna be a culprit since he's definitely the most "I NEED people to like me!" of the group
@@treesusr Alternatively, the fact that Kai is the most obvious example of ultimates "leeching off public attention for their own ends", I could see him being a survivor, developing in a way that disproves Damon's early beliefs at the end of Ch0. What better candidate to show niche talents CAN change the world, and modern ultimates aren't a lost cause, than having the most vain, and self absorbed character go through a positive change arc?
Damn i was thinking the same, i feel like this game already give a lot of weight of the whole thing with Ultimates in this so l feel like this cast seem really ordinary at first glsnce (except Eva) and like yeah theyre still having the quirky personaliies Ultimates normaly have but i feel like all of them may be hiding something and who knows that may BE the reason why their in the KG in the first momeny, idk just a theory with not much proof but it would be interesting
It's really nice to see like dark skin characters drawn well in the Danganronpa style like Wenona is so pretty. I think all the character designs look so good and the characters all look so interesting I can't wait to see more of them.
Theory: Perhaps Damon's snake/satan symbolism is actually meant to be symbolic of Lucifer and his “fall from grace”. Like maybe when he was younger his family was part of the cult that Tozu and Mara come from, and Damon was brought up alongside Tozu and Mara as this child disciple (perhaps even one of the cult's “perfect” child disciples). But because of Damon’s confronting nature, he probably asked too many questions, and got into arguments with the cult’s leader(s) whenever he wanted them to answer for something he thought didn’t make sense. This either caused the cult to turn him away, or Damon to run away from the cult, and I imagine that because of the trauma and the fact that he was most likely very young at the time of him leaving. He probably doesn’t remember (or has blocked all memories of that point in his life), thus him being the snake, rather than being a representation of him being potential evil, represents how (in the eyes of the cult, Tozu, and Mara) he is someone who has “fallen from grace” for being to rebellious/argumentative with God.
Tozu, although wearing the mask of a goat, could also represent the role of a shepherd (although a sheep mask would make more sense for this idea). This duality between goat and sheep makes sense to them being the headmaster and host to what's happening in front of them.
@@samhainshinguji6460 ya and that makes sense cuz I believe the word gozu can mean cow (or at least is related to cows since it is in the title of the creepypasta "Gozu-Cow Head").
Not sure if you said it but here's a piece of trivia for Ulysses, his name is based off Odysseus, who was favored by Athena. Which explains the smarts AND the owl, since owls are her representative animal :)
Damon's whole design gives off so much Slytherin vibes. Just look at him and tell me the first thing you thought wasn't "Yep, that's a Slytherin right there."
Damon is the most intriguing character for me. I just really love the idea of playing as a deeply flawed and ruthless protagonist that develops through the killing game setting. It's such a stark contrast with the MCs of the main games. I think he has a lot of potential for having interesting dynamics with the rest of the cast
Plot twist: Jean is actually from Michigan, so the "high seas" that he sails are actually the Great Lakes. (It could still work, as the Great Lakes have proven themselves to be quite dangerous to sail on, but I still think that would be a funny revelation.)
@@matthewfuyukawa That's what made me come up with that. The state seems to have a history of French explorers (plus, Detroit is also a French name; everyone just mispronounces it).
I think Eva might be a part of the cult because her hair is black with greyish white highlights, which are the same colours of Mara and Tozu respectively. Also, the Crow is used to symbolize trickery and death, which is similair to the themes of the game, which is all about deception and murder. Her arc would be that she grew up in this cult and was told lies all her life and she eventually began to lie to herself in order to avoid doubting this obviously evil cult, and that's how she became the ultimate liar, who can even lie to herself. However, Damon might "tempt" her to abandon the cult and their "garden of eden" to save herself and everyone else. Since Damon is representing both Adam and the Snake, he would fill both roles as tempter and tempted by Eve. Damon would give the "fruit of knowledge" that the cult is evil and she would in turn give him "knowledge" on how to defeat this cult. They will learn to trust in each other. Personally I think all the death or flags these two characters have are just red haring, I mean these guys are the main characters, and they're just so fascinating main characters and it would be total sick move just to throw them out like in V3. Plus I think she would be too obvious to be a culprit, like "Omg the ultimate liar killed someone and tried to LIE about it? What a shocker!" Her parallel with Eve could be that she will be the first companion of Damon, since this is kind of an inversion of that story (Tha Garden of Eden was a paradise that everyone wanted to remain in, while this school is a literal death trap and everyone wants to leave it). I also like the idea of them getting together, their both antisocial loners, they're talents involve being intellectual and well spoken, their literally based off of Adam and Eve (the first couple), and the animals that are used to symbolize themselves are seen as evil; the snake is the symbol of the devil and the crow that represents death. i can see one or both of these characters being framed for a murder at some point in the story, like how everyone thought Makoto killed Sayaka at first in the first game. Maybe Wolfgang will turn evil and frame Eva for it, namely because he hates lies (ironic) and is counting on everyone's distrust of her as the ultimate Liar.
I don't know a lot about the game, but my initial theory would be that they want to weed out the sinners. Just how satan tempted adam and eve, the masterminds tempt with motives for murder, so that the only ones left in the end are those that didn't give in to temptation. They didn't eat the forbidden fruit and therefore allowed to remain in the garden.
Wooo! So excited for this! We all watched the dev log for the prologue on the server and I am personally most excited to know more about Jett. He’s the most interesting to me and favorite so far! Same thing with Wenona, I wanna learn more about her too, even though I probably wouldn’t like her personality, I’m interested in why her last name is never brought up and why she does the things she will likely do in the game. The development team and everyone working on Eden’s Garden has worked super hard for this!
I‘m beyond thrilled and existed to see the Prologue coming out at the end of this year and just overall the entire journey really. This Game is so high quality, I just love the depth and passion that‘s going into this game. Also the Art and Characters look absolutely stunning, imo even outperforming the Main Game Series honestly. Just super stocked and can‘t wait to see you play it. Also… I‘m so happy that we moved on from Hope‘s Peak Academy bc honestly, that School was being hella overloaded with way too many Alternative Strings/timelines considering other fangans. Time for some fresh air!
Personal Theory for Toshiko: I think she has some kind of horrific facial disfiguration or deformity which she hides with her fans. Edit: I totally agree that Wenona is beautiful! I think she one of the most visually stunning characters of the cast. But I think she is gonna be a survivor.
Daimon Maitsu’s talent makes much sense for a protagonist. Interesting that he’s so cold hearted… worried he might be a decoy protag or a blackened considering that “he can argue from any position”. Maybe that’ll just be useful in FTE though? The snake associations… aren’t reassuring tbh. Oops, Eva Tsunaka has quite the performance to follow as an Ultimate Liar in a DR fan game. No matter what, she’ll have to lie at some point, and that’ll be fairly juicy I expect. It kind of seems like they’re positioning her as a support-type role if they introduce her after our protag… but she does look very cool. Especially considering Debater/Liar… she seems most likely to go out as a victim, but not before the first trial I don’t think. Wow, Desmond looks very good. But I don’t know what to think??? I think I’m supposed to think he’s a sweetheart. Tbh this is giving some kind of sacrificial blackened and I won’t feel safe about this guy unless he makes it to ch4. OMG ELOISE LOOKS SO PRETTY I LOVE the fit on this one! She looks smart, I like the description too. I wouldn’t put being a spy of some sort or having alternative loyalties, so to speak, past her. She’d definitely be hard to kill, though. Could be a survivor candidate. Oh, Toshiko looks like a strong candidate for my favorite. Love that design. I wanna hear about this shade, it seems to imply she’ll make it to trial. She looks shifty, though. Honestly she’s strongly reminding me of Hiyoko, that’s why I’m worried she’ll go out as a victim. Why are all these designs so flawless?? Really interesting thing that strikes me first - Wenona isn’t given a last name. Why? She can’t be unknown, it says she’s famous. Is she amnesiac? Definitely giving standoffish loner, though, but looks like she can take care of herself. Survivor, if anything. Only hesitance on that front is that she seems just a bit too similar to Togami, and you never do the same thing twice, but we’ll see. “Ulysses makes sure that every interaction he has is recorded for future review.” Yikes yikes yikes wow the death flags are unreal. This man is not making it out alive and it’s a shame, he does look like he could be interesting and fun. But that last line screamed victim, and at minimum that notebook is without a doubt going to be a plot point for a case. I’m already mourning him, Rest In Power. Tozu and Mara seems like a return to the tone of THH Monokuma, which was my favorite Monokuma. So excited to see who’s beneath the mask! Specifically considering that Tozu and Mara cannot be one of the 16 students.
I'm kinda late but I just want to say if Weeby's theory about Eva being the first blackened is true, I can totally see Grace being the support character. Grace and Damon both value their talents greatly, so the two of them working together while also having to learn to work with others would be cool. Also one of the first screenshots we got from the prologue was Grace talking to Damon so it's totally a possibility.
Something that came to my head about Wolfgang (the lawyer) was the term “sacrificial lamb”. If he’s as nice as his bio makes him out to be, I can see him maybe dying in place of someone else, or even killing someone (maybe he found out something nobody else knew like Kokicchi and Nagito?). If it was the second option, I can definitely see it being the culmination of the rivalry between him and Damon in like chapter 5, but I do think that he would still try to lead the others towards the correct decision, with maybe Damon opposing him? All in all, it’s a bit of a stretch, but I think it would make for a more interesting than the wolf in sheep’s clothing alternative. If it doesn’t turn out this way, feel free to make a fic or something.
I just reached Wenona and the first thought I had was "Survivor or at least a 3 chapter lenght survivor". Because she is both smart and ruthless. Smart enough to not commit a murder once the mood sets in (not like she van hide scandals during a killing game), but ruthless enough to defend herself or know who to drive away from her for maximum survivability. That said I just realized, with all the animal symbolism adding more character than indicating someone's role to me, that this could be a cult...and if so just like in any killing game honestly, the results would be distorted. Spoilers?!! The ultimate survivor failed to survive and help that much (until later in the game). Hagakure had literally a 30% chance of living (through lucky divination) in both the game and the final series and...he did. Man is a legend. Ruthless business woman that should represent greed and so, not be welcomed into the Garden, manages to survive the project because let's face it... Those who are true to themselves have a strong value to them and I'm just imagining that anything 'shall be forgiven for the choosen ones' Yada Yada the irony that a strong woman like Wenona would survive is just too real. Hates Unions? Perfect, welcome to Eden- On that thought (and I like the contrast that they give to Damon whose name is also a sussy red herring and Eva), these two having to become true to themselves is probably the overall challenge. One seems to be too prideful to let their arguments calm down (in theory) and the other literally lies for a living. Even if Eva dies, she has to keep true to herself to achieve whatever goal is planned for her, be it end the project or not. Be Damon's partner like Kirigiri to Makoto or his enemy. I just think she'll already be many steps ahead in that department.
i also agree with this but am worried that maybe because i feel like she will be a survivor and has such strong potential that she may end up going pretty quick 😭
honestly damon is the character i’m most interested in and im glad that hes the protagonist since his personality is just very different im so curious and literally cant wait for the game to come out !!
Jean Delamer (the dude with his bobbers out) was designed specifically for me. Also, The Ultimate Drag Racer should definitely cover both meanings of the phrase.
I don't think the animals reveal anything about whose gonna die or whose gonna be a killer or victim, however, I think that they do symbolize aspects of each character. With the themes this game are going for, like a religious cult gone extreme and the conflict between the characters perseption and their true character, I think the characters whose animal are seen as villainous are gonna start out selfsih or shady but later reveal themselves to be good guys, and vise verse. This is why I'm excited for Damon's journey, he starts out selfish and obsessed with his talent, but through the corse of the game he learns to open up to others and become a leader to these people. If the goal of this cult is to show the true sin that lies in all humans, Damon could represent the flipside of that same argument, that there is a bit of good in all of use.
From the vibes i got from the characters/trailer/your theories, i do think that if this series has a/ends on a 'good ending', it'd probably be a bittersweet one
"So at the beginning of the game he starts out as this rude loner who only really cares about himself [...] but over time he becomes friends with the rest of the participants" I know that character arc has been done a lot in different media, but my first thought of a character who went through something like that is Neku Sakuraba from The World Ends With You. If Damon ends up having that same arc he'll probably be one of my favorite characters, just like Neku in TWEWY lmao.
I would love if when the protag switch occurs the MC's screen goes black after dark or when they are going to bed and we go back to playing when we wake up as Cassidy on a bad hair day or when she loses her hat and we spend the investigation of the missing MC or the rest of the game as her. I just find it funny that a MC switch would be due to a bad hair day aha.
I honestly think Toshiko, the Ultimate Matchmaker, might be the mastermind in all of this. I know they wanna keep away from the Danganronpa storylines, but it makes a lot of sense that someone with the ultimate talent of Matchmaker, combined with her love of reality TV, might cause her to want to make the ultimate reality TV show where contestants are put in a dire situation such as a *killing game* It would be a way for her to observe relationships in this situation and she would probably broadcast it like Junko did during Danganronpa 1.
@@massiabo See idk honestly. I think at the very least she's gonna be a culprit if she's not the mastermind, cause she's not nearly as innocent as Chihiro and she's not as childish/naive as Hiyoko. The prologue that recently came out gives more weight to my theory too
I have the feeling that Mark (the music producer) is going to be a killer. Naturally it'll be quite interesting to see his quiet demeanor break under the pressure. Diana could probably hide wounds with her make-up skills, so that warrants a potential killer, too. Jean the pirate would have the perfect execution ready for him concerning ships, so I have the feeling that he'll be a killer, too. I really like the idea of the lawyer being the rival. Suits him well. But I definitely think he also has the 'double murder' vibes going on.
THEORY FOR JETT’S POSSIBLE EXECUTION: Okay, but look…LOOK, so he had an accident which left him with scars and all that SO WHAT IF IT REPEATS FOR AN EXECUTION. That would be SO MESSED UP but I low-key love the idea of it.
24:21 From experience with...Phoenix Wright games- He might not be a prosecutor but I'm sure that sheep can forge evidence or mess with the crime scene if needed. I can see Wolfgang (Mozart) being an accomplice in the name of justice after history repeats itself like... Poor Ulysses won't have a break if he is still alive by this point. (For some reason I can also see Ulysses as a culprit, if we go by the cult theory, depending if he views religious themes as historic or not (those are debatable and some incidents in the Bible might have actually happened in a way or another) he might just want to go back to 0 and stop history from...existing really.)
Diana is definitely best girl to me. She just looks so cute! I also really like Eloise. I find her super cute. She reminds me of Mikan in all honesty! Jett is definitely best boi for me. He's so cute too :) I hope those 3 survive at least-
glad to see I'm not the only one who has Jett as their prospective best boy so far (even though I'm definitely not getting my hopes up for his survival 😔)
jett is also my favourite boy! unfortunatrly after seeing the prologue, i'm quite certain he'll die. if he lives, he'll probably be like kazuichi/yasuhiro in some ways
Not to be dramatic, but if Eloise dies i WILL personally teleport into this game and end. whoever. did. it. If she’s a killer, no she’s not. It will be forgiven. She’s literally a QUEEN, and i already love her to death. She could literally set off a bomb that explodes and wipes out everyone just after the first meeting, and I’d be fine with that. She’s precious and really, truly did nothing wrong, nor will she ever
I can see Jett Dawson being a killer. Because then during his execution, you might be able to see his actual face right before his death. Either that or if he was a victim, there is also a chance you could see his face when his body is discovered.
Not Weeby talking about the difference between Damon and Wolfgang and my thought process immediately going ‘✨boyfriends✨‘. Seriously though, I’m really excited for this fangan
21:47 Weeby: "I could see [Mark] creating some songs dedicated to a victim or a culprit that he was really close with" Me: *looks at him & Jett becoming close during the Prolgue demo* Me: ...Oh No Honestly tho, while I personally see Mark as a survivor, if he *does* die then I believe it'd be due to him being a culprit & that he'd kill someone by taking advantage of them seeing him as "vulnerable" or pretending to be sad over their death (as in the old phrase "crocodile tears", where somebody feigns sadness in order to exploit other people's sympathy for them in some way)
i almost wonder if kai might be the first victim/culprit . considering that his animal is the butterfly and that the butterfly effect is a thing , maybe he'll do something in the beginning that seems trivial but that comes back in a huge way later on .
(Spoilers for SDRA2) So Jett’s helmet thing covering his face kinda reminds me of Setsuka keeping her eye closed at all times, It wasn’t until her death when her eye was opened and we got to see it. I think Jett is gonna be a victim, and the discovery of the body is gonna reveal his face.
a stretch, but since Wolfgang dislikes alcohol, he could have had neglectful parents who were addicts. which then led to him becoming very stubborn about justice, and wanting to become a lawyer. He also hates lies, which makes me think he might be involved with Eva killing her or not idk
22:09 To go along with what you said at this time-stamp Weeby, I wonder if the Music Producer would hate Cassidy and Kai not just from his dislike of bugs, but I know that in the Bible there’s mentions of a series of plagues, including locusts. I’d have to wonder if the Producer would kill one of them, given the religious context of the plagues. I’d also have to wonder if Wolfgang will be a Chapter 5 victim, a “lamb to the slaughter.” He could be aligned with the Mastermind too, thinking everything he does in the trials will ensure that he’ll live. There are a lot of people in religious groups who are unfortunately taken advantage of, and/or essentially discarded once they believe you’ve served your purpose. Of course, it could also be self-sacrificial. In Christianity, Jesus is referred to as The Sacrificial Lamb, who died for the sins of all people. So I could imagine Wolfgang, killing someone knowingly, like Gundham did in the Funhouse to save the remaining students, or he offs himself and leaves enough hints behind to ensure his death leads to a fair trial.
I always love making predictions early. And then seeing which predictions were right and which were wayyyy off base. Really hope they throw some curveballs at us.
One of the nice things about the devs is that they've given us is Eden's Island. A much less threatening summer event where instead of a killing game, all of them are in a competition. Think Your Turn to Shine with Your Turn to Die with a lot less stakes. Y'know, since they don't have to worry about starving to death and being forgotten... Anyway, one aspect of Eden's Island is that we get to see what everyone is like without any pressure, minus the contests. Most of the profiles are right on the money with what we got. Daimon is an asshole, Jett is just...a guy that blends meat into a smoothie and drinks it with no qualms, and Eve is very much still an enigma, even in a place where stakes aren't high, we still barely learned anything about her. She either said cryptic things to the others, and that's it. (Also whoever commented that Kai gave Mitch vibes they're absolutely right. I looked at the conversation he had with Wolfgang and it made want to punch him in the face.) Given the fact that we know how they would act normally, we could probably take their normal personalities and twist them into how they would react in the killing game. And you're probably wrong about Toshiko, I saw the conversation she had with Ingrid, I don't think she's a drama starter. This might be me trying to pull stuff out of my own ass, but I think the interactions we got in Eden's Island shouldn't be taken for granted to assess their personalities.
@@sunberrycool5672 it's on the eden garden discord! Members got to see some nice swimsuit sprites (of heads) and we got to see how the contestants acted under less serious circumstances. No joke, Daimon literally makes fun of Ulysses for being a huge nerd and taking notes about tozu's life story
Mark is already my fave boy and my confort character and nothing will change it! (Uless he turns out as a psycho who kills animals like dogs as we have seen before).
I'm late to this, but I immidiatley fell in love with this fanganronpa. So here are my predictions; First off; I have yet to see a person comment about the shadows in the character profiles. All of them have eyes. The only characters who don't have that are Jett (Ultimate Drag Racer) and Jean (Ultimate Ship Captain) Okay; Jett makes sense since we haven't seen his actual face yet even if his eyes are kind of visible if you look closely, and Jean's telescope is probably covering said eye. I doubt the situation is like SDR2 but since Eden's Garden has like, biblical themes and references, maybe the characters are assigned with a deadly sin but they're not technically criminals. And Eden's Garden isn't doing tropes, so something is telling me that none of the characters are a traitor and a mastermind, but I'm still making guesses just in case. Now to the actual death predictions. Mostly vibes with little logic. Damon (Ultimate Debater) = Most likely to be a survivor but will probably die on Chapter 6. V3 has taught me that I really shouldn't expect a protagonist to survive. Cassidy (Ultimate Pro Gamer) = Her animal is spiders, but I don't think she'll be luring someone into a trap; I think it's reversed. Either she's a victim, gets killed by the mastermind and her death gave someone a false execution or she gets falsely executed. Desmond (Ultimate Marksman) = Chapter 2 victim. I can see him surviving past chapter 1, but not long enough to last. I also can't see him killing anyone. Diana (Ultimate Cosmetologist) = Dies on Chapter 1. Everyone thinks she's the mastermind because her animal is a chameleon but that seems to obvious. Wouldn't the mastermind be someone you won't expect? I think Diana is a red herring and will die on Chapter 1, but I'm not sure if she will be a victim or blackened. Eloise (Ultimate Fencer) = She's either a victim or a survivor. She's also one of my suspects of being a traitor/mastermind because her animal is a swan, and that animal looks the closest to be an angel, and the protagonist is a snake, which is a nod to the devil, but I could be wrong. And if you want to go deeper to biblical territory; I think the swan is a nod to Andras; one of the Marquises of the Ars Goetia. A demon with the body of an angel that carries a pointed saber. Eva (Ultimate Liar) = Chapter 5 victim, I feel like this would be right for the story. Grace (Ultimate Golfer) = Her animal is a rabbit, so I feel like something is going to happen to her legs. Dies on Chapter 1, but I think she has a chance to being a survivor. Ingrid (Ultimate Blacksmith) = Chapter 3 blackened. I can see her killing Cassidy, since her animal is a lion, and I remember them luring their prey to a trap. Also, I can see her getting executed. Jean (Ultimate Ship Captain) = Chapter 2 blackened. Desmond's animal is a shark, and Jean is a pirate. But my instincts is telling me that he might be a traitor because of one of my suspects as a mastermind. Jett (Ultimate Drag Racer) = Chapter 2 blackened or Chapter 4 blackened. There is no in between. Kai (Ultimate Influencer) = Survivor. Mostly because of the subtle shipping with Damon on official arts. You wouldn't do that unless Kai survives all 5 chapters. Mark/Mayhem (Ultimate Music Producer) = I can see him surviving but I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up being a victim. Toshiko (Ultimate Matchmaker) = Survivor, mostly because I think her age makes the others think twice and I don't think she can attempt murder without catching someone's attention first. I don't want to suspect her as a mastermind because evil children are overrated, but one of her likes is "Reality Tv" and that made me suspicous. Ulysses (Ultimate Historian) = I can see him being a victim but this guy is my main suspect of the mastermind. The trailer says that "History repeats itself." and in retrospect, it makes sense; but then they showed us an Ultimate Historian and I immidiatley got suspicous. It doesn't help the fact that his animal is an owl, and there's an Ars Goetia prince; Stolas, who takes a form as a crowned owl. Ulysses is also the reason why I think Jean is a traitor because Stolas teaches astronomy and Jean likes the night sky, there's also the legend of Icarus, and I think it's obvious why I included that. Wenona (Ultimate Entrepreneur) = Either victim who survived her murder or blackened who survived her execution. My instinct is telling me that she's one of the survivors but her animal is a bear, and I remember bears fighting on no matter how severe their wounds are. So I think she'll be a survivor but not without a few physical scars. Wolfgang (Ultimate Lawyer) = Chapter 5 blackened. It feels right.
My personal theory about why this killing is happening has to do with Bible and temptation. Many times in the Bible, God tests people with many things, such as their loyalty to him. Example: In the bible, God tells a man to sacrifice his beloved son. The man almost does it before God stops him. I think Tozu doesn’t true see the Ultimates as worthy of their talent or praise. So he is testing their worth by tempting them with motives and reason to murder. If someone kills then Tozu will see them as a person that is not worthy since they were tempted. It won’t matter how good they are or if their reason was for the greater good. Also Tozu wears I think either a ram or sheep mask. Often times in the bible Jesus is compared to a sheep. This could be mean maybe Tozu sees himself as a person doing God’s work or seems himself as God.
That makes a lot of sense. And if we believe Wolfgang to be the Jesus figure, that makes Tozu a "False Prophet" rather than a Satan figure. As both believe they are doing what is right. However only one is actually, possibly, virtuous and emblematic of positive acts.
Another thing worth considering with Tozu is that of a scapegoat, someone who takes on the sins of a community, and is driven out. Tozu could see the facilitating of the killing game as a necessary evil.
Observations: The 14 year old girl ( Toshiko ) always covers her mouth.. she reminds me of Hiyoko way too much, and she looks like Hiyoko's beta design waaay too much. The symbol for Diana could be a non-important symbol like the one Kaede has on her shirt, but I feel like Diana is gonna be the Kaede of this game. As for chameleon, it'll be too evident for her to be a mastermind, maybe she just doesn't act like herself and tries to fit in while her dark side waits.. Like it is too evident she's the mastermind. PLUS! Cosmetologist reminds me sm of cosplay, like Tsumugi. I think that there might be a traitor, and the creators obv made it clear of some clues that could make some characters a traitor Wolfgang is a lawyer. He has skills in argumenting to make their client win, which means he could be in a double murderers killing case and trying to advocate for their partner. He also looks very angelic, and I can easily predict he is not like what he seems at all. Second of all, unless he skipped grades, being an experienced lawyer at this age is really rare, so maybe some of his family members work in related law fields, which would make it easier for him to get a job soon. He looks like an antagonist too. Obv he's gonna hate Eva and probably make sure she disappears. There is also a grey thing behind the sheep, and even if it might just be a pin, one expression comes to my mind: WOLF IN SHEEP'S CLOTHING! Also his name just like you said. Ok, Eva is clearly inspired by Kokichi. Seriously. I feel like Eva will be Damon's support, or maybe an antagonist. I feel like Desmond will be the Kaito of the game. Only thing sus about him is his talent, while he hates violence. Desmond could be involved in a case in which he wants to protect somebody, and hurts the one that is trying to murder somebody, but in the end just like Danganronpa 1's chapter one, the one wanting to murder ends up being killed, and Desmond unintentionally killed the victim, because it would be the fatal injury? Idk... I feel like Eloise won't really be important.... Maybe in a case as self-defense she'll kill somebody? Wenona reminds me of Kirigiri, an independent and smart woman. If Eva dies, she'll probably be the support, or I feel like she and Eva won't get along together. She looks like a mix of Byakuya and Kirigiri. She looks hard to influence, and because she owns lots of farms, she probably doesn't live in the city and could be maybe a bit controversial? Idk... I'm pretty sure she loves nature, even though her clothes are made from animals.. However, Wenona's way of making money is suspicious, how can she win this much? Obv there is something related to it in her past. If Ulysses dies, it'll be more likely if during the investigation, they can't find his notebook. So maybe if he dies it'll look like a suicide, but when they'll notice there won't be the notebook, they'll know it'll be a murder. I feel like he'll be very important in this story. He looks a high achiever and he's probably gonna go insane in a trial or Idk... I feel like he's gonna get along well with Wenona. If he survives, I'm pretty sure he's gonna sacrifice himself so that history won't repeat. I feel like Mark will be the character that'll be shipped with the main character the most. I mean, it looks evident to me. Maybe he'll be a support too. Kai looks like a bitch. I agree with you. I feel like Kai and Jett won't get along bc of attention. Also Jett reminds me of Ryoma. He probably hates showers because it burns his injuries or like you said, reminds him of what he looks like now. Ingrid's weapons will be used in a chapter, i'm 100% sure of it. Yeah I feel like she's gonna be evil. Desmond and her could get along, but Damon could kind of see her dark side, Idk... like having a bad feeling about her or something Grace is Miu 2.0.... Jean and Manona won't get along, they both have different values.I feel like he's gonna survive. He also looks like Kaito, psychologically for me. Maybe he'll kill somebody to save everybody else. Cassidy gives me Miu vibes too, but she also gives me Akane vibes as well. She could be a good main character! She looks rebellious, and she's probably not gonna get along with Mamona. I feel like Amber is gonna get along really well with Ulysse and they're gonna be friends ( She loves revolution and Ulysse could teach her sm things! ). Anyways, that's all!!
I feel like if Damon was the mastermind he would have a motive revolving around his talent since he seems to be really confident in it, and it's also looking like it's gonna be a part of the character arc
So i noticed something.. damons name is similar to dämon the german word for demon and evas name is often also the name uaed for eve in german translations
If I had a nickel for every time Weeby said that a Project Eden’s Garden character had potential for a really cool execution but labeled them as a victim anyways, I’d have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot, but it is weird that is happened twice.
This video was nice I hope Daina doesn't become Kaede because she's similar to her when her voice actor line got realese and Desmond reminds me of kaito in his voice line so I hopefully they don't become victim because of their hopefully attitude and out of all the characters I would like to see Kai and Diana and Mark free time events they are so interesting to me and my favorites but I do love all the characters and for one of my prediction I think Ulysses might be victim because of his sleep deprivation and I feel like it might be his down fall but I could be totally wrong
My Theories . . . . . . . Ch 1🔴: Wanting to prove her worth, Grace kills Ulysses as he one of the smartest participants. Hides/destroys his journal, while using the last interaction Ulysses had Ch 2🔵: Motive reasons, Wenona plans a elaborate murder: kills Cassidy, forces Diana to disguise the body as Eloise(Diana’s best friend) so Eloise would be framed, then kills Diana. Ch 3🟡: Jean want everyone to come together and plan a trap to kill the mastermind. Due to complications, an accident occurred and Toshiko ended up getting from it. The major problem is because it was a accident, no one is entirely sure who’s fault it was. Ch 4🟢: After someone calls out Kai on his bullshit, Kai proves to be petty enough to attempt murder. While Kai almost does the deed; Wanting to protect his friends, Desmond gets the upper hand and kills Kai before he could hurt anyone Ch 5🟣: Wolfgang would be revealed to be a total scumbag as he goes behind everyone’s back and discover certain truths which makes him want to kill Damon for a certain reason. Eva however stops him and kills him. Ch 6⚪️: The mastermind is revealed to be hiding in Jett’s suit, and the real Jett Dawson is technically in killing game but his body’s condition was still critical to go around. So Jett would be talking from his room, as it come out from speaker installed in his helmet. The mastermind is the cult leader as Tozu and Mara serve under him. Survivors: Damon, Eloise, Ingrid, Jett, and Mark
I think desmond being a shark is actually a hint that he won't be a killer but that he will be framed. Sharks are often portrayed as killing machines but almost never harm humans. I think that someone will get killed with a ranged weapon, making the marksman an obvious suspect
I'm super late to the party but I am hyperfixating like crazy sooo I wanted to leave my ideas: 1. Kai (Culprit) -- Toshiko (Victim) >Kai would attempt to hide his fear, but will gradually grow paranoid, resulting in killing >Targeting an actual child would show how cowardly Kai is, and symbolically snuff out hope and innocence >It'd be interesting if for his execution to end, he has to 'sincerely apologize' but keeps making excuses up until the end 2. Desmond (Culprit) -- Ingrid (Victim) >This one I imagine is an accidental killing or a result of misunderstanding >Both could take up protective roles, but something would happen to put them at odds, and suspect each other. >He would try to use his marksmen skills to stop her but it results in a deadly blow, making a tragic chapter :( 3. Diana (Culprit) -- Jett (Victim) >Jett might trust Diana to see his face and help beautify him again >However I get 'secretly evil' vibes from Diana, and believe she'd use this trust to her advantage. She could use her talent to cover up potential evidence as well. >Her execution is related to blending in before a timer runs out, but in the end can't help herself to stand out from the crowd 4. Mark (Culprit) -- Eloise (Victim) >Mark could use his talent to lure Eloise into a trap or disorient her >I get a lot of 'I have a dark secret' vibes from Mark and that's all my thoughts there lol 5. Wenona (Culprit) --Ulysses (Victim) >Wenona is the type to study the other cases in order to formulate the best plan >In my mind this is one of the trickest/hardest to solve; using your idea of Ulysses' journal being useful in class trials as a factor in his death >Her execution is a workers strike; she could afford to give into their demands but can't bring herself to do it, and is overtaken by the crowd Survivors: Damon, Eva, Cassidy, Grace and Jean Mastermind: Wolfgang > he's working closly with Tozu, but he is trying to stop the game >He wants to prove that people can withstand sin, but maybe as the game continues, he starts to lose it before fully joining Tozu's side >Last trial is to demonstrate that they have grown and sin isn't inherent
The snake is wrapped around his body i think he is the mastermind but due to that i think it maybe them trying to say hes wrapped/trapped in sin and that he may be the first murderer and he kills eva. Personally i think eloise will be murdered but another known thing about swans is if pushed pasted the swans limit theyre known to attack. I also think toshiko hides her face so that nobody can see her smile deviously. Maybe as a killer. I think winona will be a survior someone whose prob gonna act like a good person at first but by the end turn into a mean person like buyakuya. I feel like wolfgang is literally the wolf in sheeps closing, the mastermind. A huge part of me believes that since jett wears a fullbody suit that he may be a hidden woman. Jean i think will be prob a mixture of nekomaru with happyness and hope but might get hottheaded like mondo but i also feel like he will be a survivor. I think cass if there is a swap like in my theory at the end when discovering hes the mastermind will become the protag. Also she looks like wendy from gravity falls. Itll also be a cool swap going from man to women.
Also I think it could be super interesting if the cosmotologist or even Kai kills Jett and can pull off some disguise murder. Like it’d probably just take some basic makeup skills and clothes swap to do a body swap murder. Say Kai kills Jett but dresses him up puts on some concealer and dyes his hair, then everyone would think Kai is dead while Kai is actually wearing the dead Jett’s clothes or vice versa.
There is also a thing some people are kinda overlooking Everyone is talking about WOLFgang being a Wolf in sheeps clothing BUT there is even more. I mean there is also Gang in there, which could hint him being in the cult(gang) leading to him also having a connection with the mastermind. (Fun fact which probably doesn’t mean anything ; Wolfgang in German means the path of the wolf which could lead to him changing with the time)
You know I was sad that there wasn't a character based of an eagle because they represent honesty, truth, majesty, strength, courage, wisdom, power and freedom and they are believed to have special connection to god. Like if there was an ultimate helper I see them as makoto naegi
Also, for Kai, the butterfly could represent something other than his looks. Butterflies represent mind control (MK ultra) to conspiracy theorists. Butterflies are used by entertainers to represent their affiliation to the Illuminati and tie the butterfly to satanism. I think that fits with Kai and his ultimate.
I feel like Kai could have an arc to be less full of himself (because influencer) and if Damon gets the character arc you described, him and kai might become friends
I've only known Eloise for the duration of this video, but if anything happens to her, I'll kill everyone in the room & then myself. Okay, not really, you know the meme. But I love her already and am worried for her. EDIT: Did anyone else see Jett and immediately think of The Stig? Or am I the only overlap between "people who like Danganronpa" and "people who've seen Top Gear"?
I feel like since diana dislikes drama and you brought up how the ultimate matchmaker gives you a trouble maker vibe, I feel like she'd kill her because of some drama unleashing
