It's called being a masochist. She pretends to act mean and nasty to get a reaction out of people, so when they eventually snap back at her, she acts all meek and timid in response, as to play out her kink.
Those are the small things pushing this game above the first two, even though they are very good themselves. Of course the ending is controversal among fans but objectively it is just as good as previous endings. ( but I can understand why some people dont like it)

Lol Miu just firing off swear words and Kokichi coming in with the sassy insults. Junko would’ve never stood a chance. Also, from a narrative standpoint, it would’ve been good for Kokichi to survive. He would’ve seen who was behind the killing game, and reveal his plans to stop it. How he let everyone hate him, how he tried to sacrifice himself to stop the game but Himiko pushed him out of the way and died instead... It would’ve been pretty cool.

I cant fucking believe no one noticed this yet. Every fucking class trial Miu guessed the culprit right. trial 1: She guessed the mastermind trial 2: she guessed kirumi trial 3: she guessed Kiyo. Miu truly is the smartest one there.

No tsmugi went into panic mode and forced monokuma to kill kaede to calm her down and then took an hour therapy and then decided to kill her and of course gonta killed her
Other than the fact she guessed every culprit correctly, here are other reasons why Miu is actually the most important asset in the game. -She repaired Keebo and made him even more useful. -She invented the movement sensitive cameras that helped discover the mastermind -She invented the hammers, grenades and exisal remote that allowed the game to go off script and would inevitably foil the masterminds plan -tried to kill kokichi (at the time seemed smart as he was gonna pose to be the mastermind) -and finally she created contact lenses
