Korekiyo: How many murders have you made? Maki: Like maybe 30 or 50 right now, my dude. Korekiyo: You’re like a baby. Watch this... Korekiyo: *ALMOST 100 DEATHS!!!*
Very very very very very Very very very very Very very very very Very very very very Very very very very Very very very very Very very very very Very very very very very wrong
When someone gets accused for murder in a class trial: *Checks how long is left in the video* Nope, it wasn't them Edit: okay, I get Miu Iruma got it right at the start but let's be real, who would trust Miu lol.
Medea Agapishvili because Monokuma’s favourite hobby before he executes someone is that he does the opposite request the culprit asks him to do before they die during their execution for example: Before Gundum got executed(in super danganronpa 2) he wanted to go to hell but after his execution Monokuma does a dick move and sends Gundum to heaven which is hell/despair for Gundum the same is with Korekiyo he wished that after his death/execution he wished that his soul would meet his sister’s so that they could be together forever but again Monokuma does a dick move again and when Korekiyo meets his sister as a soul he sprays salt to melt him
I actually find hilarious the fact that the incest Dude was thinking : "Woah, i Will see my sister again ,haha" but then Monokuma and his "sister" are like "nope' and make his soul disapear and even laugh on his face, very good, this is actually the punishement in dangaronpa v3 who didnt give me any pity
Actually, he was killed off twice because of the fact that he broke a rule and murdered someone. It doesn't really matter if you kill two people. Mikan wasn't killed off twice, now was she? His spirit was killed off because of one thing... He didn't vote.
Kiyo: I love her so deeply... and she loved me so deeply... Shuichi: No, That's Wrong! Kiyo: The fact that we were siblings... meant nothing to us. Shuichi: No, That's Wrong! Kiyo: They called it " *forbidden love* ," but none could stop the love we shared... Shuichi: No, That's Wrong! Kiyo: Ooh... How I long for my sister's warmth... Shuichi: No, That's Wrong! Kiyo: The only time I felt at peace...was when I was enveloped in my sister's warmth! Shuichi: No, That's Wro- Kiyo: DO YOU WANT ME TO TEAR YOUR NERVES THE F*CK OUT!!? Sister: Kiyo, please watch your language. Kiyo: You're right, I apologize. Shuichi: No, That's Wro- *G A M E O V E R*
Considering how fucked up Danganronpa lore is I'm surprised it didn't happen sooner. It deals with all kinds of shebang ranging from pedophilia to genocide. Hell Mukuro gets off on her sister trying to kill her
@Milomondo tenko never “sexually harassed” himiko. tenko just thought himiko was really cute and himiko didn’t like Tenko calling her cute all the time. wtf dude
@@kyleocto485 Miu was basically about commit a legit unsolvable murder in the virtual world even better than Kirumi's (literally the only reason Shuichi figured it out was because she wasn't alive to lie about it in her favor), it took a shitton of guesswork and reasoning for Shuichi, Kokichi and the others (plus a little help from Monotaro) to even figure out how her plan worked.
I just noticed that Mikan's and Kiyo's cases are quite similar. They both killed 2, one of them accidental, both of them lost their composure near the end. Mikan asked others to forgive her, while Kiyo asked others to apologize.
So Kiyo and Teru are voiced by the same actor. I gotta say He did a good job nailing it Also, seems he voices characters that have .. *interesting* sexuality
Imperfectly Not perfect! Teruteru was also into a ton of fetishes, (bondage, licking, etc.) Not trying to kinkshame here, but I think having that many fetishes qualifies as interesting sexuality
Nope. Blood on the forehead means the damage is exterior. Meaning he has less probabilty of having a concussion. The probability would increase if there was no blood bleeding on the forehead. That would also mean that the damage is interior. Since Kokichi's sceme had blood on his head, He probably did not have a concussion.
@@the_mars_bar Pretty sure Ibuki mentioned that his voice doesn't mesh with his looks very well too. Considering it's the guy who did Hikaru and Death The Kid, I can't blame her for thinking that.
Korekiyo's brain: nooooo you can't kill someone else right after killing angie you'll ruin the unsolvable murder and fail your plan for your sister Korekiyo: kehehe seesaw effect go crash
Wow. I love the fact how this trial references both the gold coating from the Replica Sword in Sayaka's trial (1st game) and the killer possibly stabbing underneath the floorboards in Byakuya's trial (2nd game). Clever way of reusing arguments, but keeping them refreshing and not repetitious.
it would be even better if that was on first trial, cause in DR 1 and 2 that were also the first trials. I guess Kayayday's Lie was more important plot tho.
Also Monodam’s suicide “he committed suicide because he didn’t get along” and Monophanie’s “Everyone but me drove him to suicide” kinda reminds me of Sakura’s too
Spoilers for the end of the game Because in this universe, all of the other games were also apart of the TV series, and Tsumugi watched them all, perhaps she brought it up because she remembered it from watching it? It would explain why Monokuma would recognize it, too. So it seems like a simple reference, but it's actually foreshadowing that Tsumugi is the mastermind.
Kiyo had been watching the girls from the beginning looking for a suitable candidate for his sister. Kiyo said that they were all perfect except for Miu and Maki. Most likely Kaede was her best candidate until she died, then she decided on Himiko if we remember that she was the only victim she was planning (Angie was an accident) but Tenko took her place.
Ah Iruma, the smartest character in the game, So smart she figured out who the killer was for the past three trials at the very start, (albeit, her reasoning was very... lackluster,)
Why’d they have to do my boy Korekiyo so dirty like that. But mad props to his VA for that performance. I think his VA is also Teru’s from the second game if I’m not mistaken? His roles are always so diverse but he does them all soooo well.
44:14 Tsumugi: Talks about holes in floor, knives and glowing paint Monokuma having a Danganronpa 2 flashback: I'm just gonna ignore what i've heard and do like nothing's happened.
@@seventeenthletter17 In case you haven't watched it, spoilers for Dr2 In the first murder of Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair the victim gets killed from below the door boards (they get stabbed from the holes in the floor) because of a knife with glowing paint on it.
i love how danganronpa just wants us to sit through 3 hours of dialogues and challenging obstacles and mini games and still expects us to be mentally stable after
For the first one, Ryoma's rebuttal WAS right. But...they still fell for the lies the whole time... Even with the evidence, It was fabricated to frame the wrong one. Kiyo also had a correct assumption about the girl's bathroom, yet most of them shrugged it off as a perverted comment.
Nobody gonna talk about how Kokichi was on the verge of fainting from blood-loss before this? _Why is he fine now? What kind of black-screen magic is this????_ But also his words of support at the end to Himiko are really sweet, everyone calls him an asshole for the later chapters but honestly I think he cares, he just doesn't want to actually show it. :^) Y'know, he has to keep up that 'Supreme Evil Leader' persona.
Mouse yea, he told the other survivors that he only lied to be the mastermind so that he can end the killing game even if it costs him his life. He also wanted that Kaede was the one to be resurrected instead of Rantaro because if Kaede was back to life, Shuichi would be happy. Everyone hated him. But they didn’t even try to talk to him, even though he may lie about certain topics. No one even bothered to clean the blood from his head. **Spoilers for the 4th trial** Even Kaito called him a coward. That angers me because he said that ‘Putting on a mask, not saying what you really feel... thats the same amount of cowardice as monokuma!’ (i forgot the line sorry) Seriously. Honestly, you’re the coward Kaito. Why? Because Kokichi cares for all of you so deeply that he pretends that he doesn’t. He keeps his mask on, doesn’t trust the others, lies to himself and others. From what I can say from *my perspective*, Kokichi distances himself from others because he felt that he might get hurt. Kokichi deserves more care from the facade he puts on. He is fragile on the inside and concrete on the outside. He deserves more care and love.
I get it, but no. How much better can he be if he sacrifices other people that he 'loved'? He was a good character to watch, but personality wise, he isn't much to fret over. What he could've done was work with Shuichi and the others from the start. They really could've used his intellect. Instead, he warped everyone's perceptions as roleplaying as "The Mastermind", and to be honest, that move was a bit selfish. He really could've found a better way to help the others, instead of killing himself off and taking Kaito with him. He's about the same as Nagito, in all honesty.
You know, this trial made me start to like Himiko. Beforehand I thought she was really annoying, but seeing her regret how she treated Tenko and decide to become more like her to honour her death really changed my opinion on her.
bruh she was accused twice already, at first she didnt trust anyone. now she trusted tenko, i feel for her and i liked her in the beginning with angie and miu
Extracting traits from Tenko was just another bonus of avenging her. I like it when Danganronpa's characters honor forever absent participants like that. It's pleasing.
i overall never liked her and dont plan on to simply because i think she's annoying with her, "iT wAs MagIc" bs. if she didnt do that every second, maybe i would have liked her. but yeah, i dont think its fair that tenko, the only person himiko ACTUALLY trusted, died.
Serves him right. Kiyo saw Death as just a casual transition to join his beloved Sister on the other side, finding an ephemeral satisfaction in his long killing record and leaving his friends behind in total disarray. But Monokuma was not going to have any of that. Because each execution is tailormade to really sting you in the butt. Kiyo gets excised from existence entirely. And by both Monokuma and Kiyo's sister to boot. Through the very same method of excising demons and evil spirits so common to the archaic 3rd World Cultures and Traditions that Kiyo likes to study about so much. So as final "Screw you" from Monokuma, Kiyo doesn't even attain the satisfaction of being reunited with his beloved "Sister", rendering all of Kiyo's efforts towards that end to be for nothing.
I just realized, in every danganronpa game, there's always that one character who has a really basic name Dr1: Leon Dr2: Sonia Drv3: Angie UDS: Monaca How did I not notice this before
How to make a Class Trial: Step 1 - Start it with a really dumb and idiotic thing that you have to clear up purely to use some otherwise useless truth bullets. Step 2 - Have one or two characters that always either follow what someone else says *or* come up with bullshit explanations. Step 3 - Throw in a bunch of bullshit in order to extend the class trial. Step 4 - Have the real culprit unveiled through some totally major and overlooked evidence that connects to another piece of evidence. Step 5 - Make the culprit get really finicky and irritated and incredibly obvious. Step 6 - ??? Step 7 - Profit.
Step 1: listen to miu Step 2: Believe. In Miu Step 3: Proof miu's arguments and make it correct Step 4: debats Step 5: LISTEN TO KOREKIYO'S WORDS Step 6: done
She always has these kinds of awesome line, last trial was "Why you back-stabbing bitch??" that I loved. Here it was just Miu's trial, we had Miu being Miu the entire trial
Congratulations Kiyo you ended up becoming leaving the game as the second most insane character in Danganronpa history. (Sorry if you were going for the crown but there's no way you can ever take it off Queen Junko)
It’s honestly so sad because his sister sexually abused him to the point he thought he loved her, people just hate him without checking out his backstory. ☹️
@Pokemon Masterz Too lazy to find timestamps, but there's the mention of the gold painting coming off of the sword as a reference to the first case of Trigger happy havoc. Then the idea of someone stabbing the victim through the floorboards comes from the first case in goodbye despair.
It was a flimsy excuse by the culprit, but I personally LOVE the idea of the rule of: "the blackened is only the first discovered murder". Hope if we ever get a DRv4, we get a case where two separate people commit murders and one of them gets off scot free. It'd be like everyone freaking out about Maki's talent turned up to 11
I'm impressed that Miu guessed the culprit right early on in this trial. I guess that brain of hers really hasn't rotted away from being in the red light district for so long.
I think this is a case of him being the most obvious culprit from the start (he's the one that did the seance, like how Himiko was immediately accused because she did the magic trick last chapter) so it then tries to convince the audience that he must actually be innocent since he's obvious and got accused at the beginning, and we find evidence making it seem like he couldn't have done it.
I wouldn't trust her at all! She's smart but VERY VERY dumb. Dumb enough to screw you players up during the trial because of your forbidden love for her. I agree with Gonta when he thought it was too soon to tell.
I just realize Kokichi was basically still recovering from his fall that made him bleed his head out and made him light headed and still going to the class trial and helping out the case. Like damn
This class trial is confusing, to say the least, with one of the most confusing plans by the killer. Korekiyo could’ve stopped at killing Angie, but as soon as he killed Tenko, he didn’t stand a ghost of a chance.
Also, regarding the previous prequels and this chapter... SPOILERS BELOW ... Why is it that chapter 3 always has two murders and the culprit has to be deranged in some way?
“Maybe they marked Tenko with glowing paint and looked for that? That’d let the culprit find her. Then they could stab her through the floorboards...” “That sounds familiar too! But I’m just gonna ignore it!” ...did they just...
I'll be honest. I have no regrets Angie died. She basically pulled Himiko and blamed her whenever suspicion fell on her and hardly apologized honestly. Himiko should have only felt sad for Tenko. At least she was less toxic and didn't force her into a cult.
I'm sure I'm in the minority here, but I find it disturbing when people say someone should or shouldn't feel something for another person, even if they have good intentions, Perhaps it's just the crooked man philosophy rubbing off me, but if I want to cry over someone's death, who are you to stop me? But whatever, I didn't like or dislike Angie, she was too boring and her death underwhelmed me, As for Tenko, she was actually pretty interesting, not only because of her relationship with Himiko but also her varied treatment of the other ultimates,
I honestly would have thanked Korekiyo if I could for getting rid of Angie. She may preached the word of God, but it was twisted and evil and more than that, she was getting on my nerves.
Maybe it's because this didnt settle right with me, but please read this. It's very much so possible Kiyo's sister could have been manipulating him, and I wouldn't be surprised. It's very much so possible that their "relationship" started out with sexual abuse, but his sister said some thing along the lines of "you love me, right? I'm dying, Kiyo. Please give me this." How do I know this is possible? Because my mom was dying at some point a few years ago, and if she wanted something, she would look us dead in the eye and go "please do this, im not going to be around much longer." I started to think about it really when it was revealed that she was his OLDER sister. She had that authority figure over him, and it would have been easy to manipulate a young kid into doing what you say, if you're dying. I believe that a some point in doing this, some childhood trauma™ mind shit happened and Kiyo began to believe that he actually WAS in love with his sister. And when she died, and started to do the whole slide into the DMS post mortem, she used his weak state and grief to manipulate him. But I dunno edit: my mom passed away january 25th, and in that i grew a lot of conflicted feelings that still exist. this further solidifies my point
@@Tiger-ks9xp I’ve seen his backstory. I still dislike him. He could have been a good murderer with the incest. Did it make me disappointed? Yes. Did I feel any sympathy towards him or his sister? No. Not one bit. Most likely, his sister was his one person in his life. So when she died, he snapped and went crazy. *He* made the decision to kill 100 girls. She never made him. *He* was so far gone, he practically *became* his sister. He was too in love with her. Most likely, she didn’t reciprocate the feelings, but couldn’t see it that way. In my opinion it neither one’s fault. He was simply went insane from her death. He made all those choices. She was dead and couldn’t stop him or make him continue. He did all that himself.
@@Tiger-ks9xp To be fair the game didn't treat his trauma too well either, to the point of it being mostly just a popular fan theory. Obviously the clues are there in his Free Time Events, but aside from that anyone who didn't know about them would've just assumed being an incest freak was all that there's to him.
Oh my- Himiko baby this trial has to be her saddest moment so far. Like why do they put the blame on her two trials in a row when she wouldn't be able to do such a heinous act?
I hated her before hand but I had tears in my eyes when she started crying. Poor Himiko. However, they did need to think logically. They thought Kirumi couldn't do it and she did.
Thank you for showin off your appreciation for Himiko! Hardly anyone respects her, even thought she survived until the very end, because they're too much into Miu, and all that crazy stuff!
