Engines today do not overestimate positions. These are not the same engines from 15 years ago. Plus 1 is quite literally almost lost for black if these were computer chess engine games.

Too bad I can't stand watching Hikaru's streaming. I'm curious how he spun these losses. (To be fair, I haven't found any streamer worth watching). He seemed to be talking the entire game. Seems he's more interested in being a streamer than a chess player.

I’ve heard hikaru say that at the end of the day he’s a streamer above all else. It’s what puts the bread on the table for him

Yeah no joke you can go from beginner to super GM in 6 years. It's easy for kids especially because they have absolutely nothing better to do.
@Glock7eventeen
@Glock7eventeen 7 месяцев назад
No, it is easier for kids because of neuroplasticity, they can learn things much quicker than adults. A 10 year old who started chess at 7 will generally be far better than a 30 year old who started chess at 20. It is even stronger for children below 6. If you manage to get your child to play chess from the ages of 4-6, he will be an absolute monster.
@walterbrownstone8017
@walterbrownstone8017 7 месяцев назад
@@Glock7eventeen No that's an intentional lie. These people aren't as bright as you think. They want to win at any cost and they have no problem whatsoever misleading people and taking their money. I will tell you how to become a GM and I will do it for free: Literally do a million puzzles on lichees, and literally play a hundred thousand 1+0 games.

@@Glock7eventeen It's both the neuroplasticity and the fact that they dont have duties and bills to pay. Same as learning a new language or any other skill. Little kids are learning machines
@anab0lic
@anab0lic 6 месяцев назад
@@Glock7eventeen neuroplasticity is present in the brain from the cradle to the grave, it isn't something limited only to children.
@Glock7eventeen
@Glock7eventeen 6 месяцев назад
@@anab0lic It’s not about the neuroplasticity itself, it’s about the flexibility and efficiency to form new connections. Children have much higher levels of flexibility, and the vast majority of the peak is around the age of 4-7. It is much easier for a child to learn a language from 4-7 than from 6-12. In fact, if you try and learn a new language after the peak years, you will likely have an accent and I know this first hand. When my family moved to Canada, I was 6 and my older sister was 10. We both speak fluent Persian and English, but I have a normal Canadian accent whereas my sister still has a thick Persian accent. Why? Because I was younger than her and my brain picked up the language much faster than she did. I can still speak Persian just as well as she can, I still have a Persian accent when speaking Farsi, but she was never able to speak English like I can, she was never able to pick up the accent either. It’s the same thing with chess. Once you surpass the peak years, it’s too late to form the strong connections you could have made from 4-7.

The kid loses every game and places last in real life. Online he wins everything.

That's rubbish. You need to do your homework before you speak. Just look at his score in Samarkand, which was an otb event. Anyone can go to 2700chess and see for themselves. You may be some kind of salty Hiku fanboyce.

The kid beat MVL at OTB tournament in December 2023. He had the draws in the most games playing against super GM's at otb tournaments as well. Just accept this fact Hikaru fanboy. p.s. If you are hinting at cheating, I would like to remind you that some GM also find Hikaru's winning streaks suspicious.

he placed 31st and 8th in world rapid and blitz 2023, just 2 points below the eventual winner on both formats. get your facts straight first before you spout nonesense and make a fool of yourself
