I knew there was a film done the historically accurate way after the novel and I wanted to see the trailer again now that I actually started reading the Dangerous Liaisons. Uma Thurman as Cecile and Michelle Pfeiffer as Madame de Tourvel! That is definitely a pleasant surprise right! It means we're not that far from the present age.
Fantastic movie by Stephen fears he got three brilliant actors and a great supporting cast as well great costumes on Glenn close and Michelle Pfeiffer also great cinematgrophy and a very good script also great music as well 👍👍
Excellent trailer except the music drowns out the dialogue...and the dialogue is everything! If you re-mixed it with the music lower it would be perfect.
where da hell can I see this whole movie? it was on this morning while I dressed for work now I can't seem to find any one whose uploaded this great film. Plz help
It’s a great movie, stunning costumes and great casting (though I do wish they’d allowed Alan Rickman to play Valois, he was incredible in the play) but why can’t they spell "jealousy"? Also, it’s so weird everyone rides Keanu about his appalling acting/accent in Dracula (though I think Winona was just as wooden and her accent was pure shite) but no one mentions he’s not bad in DL…probably cos it was a much smaller role, but still…! I always loved that the plebs/servants in this all have Scottish accents while the knobs/aristocracy are all Americanised English…bravo❤️🏴❤️
