This gave me such anxiety, I kept thinking the poor goats were going to get run over! Glad they made it safely. Is that a sign warning drivers that the goats cross this road frequently?

In such situations the drivers continuously honks the horns to scare them away.And there are sign boards everywhere all the way through the 40 hairpin bends .

Yeah, it's a great place to visit. From Athirappally in the state of Kerala to Valparai -Pollachi route in the state of Tamilnadu. June to December is the best time to visit.
