One of the most underrated bands of all time. Jason McMaster is amazing and still sounds fantastic today. Whose still cranking Dangerous Toys every day in 2021? We never get tired of them!!!!!
Are they still putting out music? I loved these fuckers in the 80's. Riffs were badass and his voice was wildly on point for the time. If he still has a voice after all these years I'd be surprised, just because of his style and tenacity it wouldn't surprise me if he burned those vocal cords to the root. DT viciously wicked rock of the 80's 🤘
Takes me back to being 18 again . Hanging out with good friends , no cellphones, just making great funny memories. Miss alot of those friends that have passed , so those memories I cherish.
Have not heard it in a few years, but could still "sing" along. Yeah, I cannot sing. Always loved this since vid came out back in the day, or whenever I first saw it. My 4 year old had an off day today, and I somehow thought of this song after talking with my wife about his day/last few days.
Perhaps you should go on a world wide comedy tour playing old music. ..... .... ..... ...... Sorry, I've been binging on "Dad Jokes" and couldn't help myself. ... my bad.
I still listen to this stuff but you're kidding yourself if you don't think it's outdated. The world has completely changed- it would be hard to find anyone under 40 listening to this kind of music, let alone who have heard of Dangerous Toys.
I graduated high school in 89 and went to the mall and made 3 great purchases of BANG TANGO, DANGEROUS TOYS AND THE CULT. I was 18 and turn 50 in march. They told me time would fly by. Dang man 50!
@@pears8445 depends on many factors, God willing you live to see 50, and how much fun and partying you did. The fun and partying made 50 come " Fast as a shark" I would say the Square route would take much longer, but you will have Money, and a future, but still be a Square.
God, they were awesome+ in a decade of awesome! And you could hear that Texas backbeat just a touch on some songs, heavy on others. I broke my tape and had to scotch tape it back together
There's still a station that plays it... WPBP (Pearl, MS) has a weekly rock show, playing 80's hard rock. Listen on the TuneIn app; look up "WPBP" every Friday, 4:00-7:00PM central time
Back in 88,89 I was at astroworld in Houston waiting inline to ride a rollercoaster and standing in the line in front of us were these guys, they were a bunch of cool dudes...I think if they had got together a few years earlier they might've had a bigger impact music wise and would probably still be around but they didn't come out until 88,89 & grunge was just around the corner so that's one of the reasons I think they're so underappreciated...
im into death metal but this is what i heard in my hiuse growing up on a daily basis theses guys would have been huge but remember they came out about a few weeks afte gnr dropped apettite
Their first two albums were awesome. I have the other four they made and then they called it quits. no one will ever stand music back in this timeframe. I grew up in music from the 60s 70s and 80s 90s music, however positively sucked. I’m not a rapper. I’m not a country boy. I’d love my rock ‘n’ roll and that goes for a lot of bands.
I am 57 a bass player, was 25 26 when I listened to them they blew me away and everyone around me, love that driving melodic groove bass line, so much good music from this band 👍🤘🇨🇦🍁
Love this band. VERY underrated. Saw them at about 15, met Jason, awesome dude. Got a concert-t, got older, gave it to my young son, he still has it and still loves it. Man I wish Music was still like this. Dangerous Toys = Excellency. Everybody please keep Rockin'!
I haven't heard this song in a hell long time, but yet i can still remember every single word of this song lol good music will do that. I remember when this came out back in '89 saw them live open for LA Guns and i became a huge fan 🤘
I remember Geoff Tate and Chris DeGarmo of Queensryche on the Headbanger's Ball, announcing to stay tuned for videos from Dangerous Toys, and others...
What what a wonderful tribute. This band is truly great and who could ask for a better tribute to Alice Cooper. It is hard to believe that this band did not make more of an impact than they did. I think they are right up there with some of the greats!!!!
I have this and the second album on CD. Still one of my top albums to listen to even today. Gotta love Headbangers Ball for all the underrated and great bands of the late 80s/early 90s.
Can you imagine that! Nothing like it today, that’s for sure. Vocalist from the hair band era are becoming a lost art. I wish some musicians now could try and bring it back!
In an era of great music, DT stood out. That Texas backbeat/scat/metal/guitar combo added to the vocals and lyrics, just…..wow. Glad I’m as old as I am to have experienced it first hand.
First tape I ever purchased was DT in a shop in Amarillo when I was 12. Changed the trajectory of my little life (for the better) no more destiny’s child for this girl 🤣🤣
Great band. Kick ass vocals. They hit the scene late. There were alot of bands that did. Great bluesy groove. Dimebag loved these guys. And they are from Austin. Bass player from Orange, Texas. Love it.
I was grooving to this all the way to the beach today a 2hr road trip and it was on REPEAT the whole fucking way just like when I was 19 in 1989 driving like a bat out of hell! Brings back so many memories of those younger days!
