This old police officer is just stupid. He is obviously passing the buck on the victims and their families instead of the police. The police were informed just two days later. They went to the sycho's house but refused to enter and investigate. The probability of the girls being alive at that point was significantly high. Time was wasted. In such situations, law enforcement steps in to provide checks in the system. Here, Police officers took bribes. They took about 7million from the family to conduct the investigation. They took 1.5million from the accused as bribes. Stole one of the victim's phones found at the scene.

Shomolu of Lagos was at the Media Business Conference held at the Shaw Theatre a few weeks ago. I couldn’t listen to this show because the host does not know how to ask questions effectively to elicit useful information. The retired policeman was totally useless. Under no circumstances will the police ask a victim for mobilization fee, there’s no excuse for that in a civilized nation. The act of asking for mobilization fee from a victim is purely police misconduct and corruption. The police practice of detaining a victim of a crime who reports the crime or incident to police has become so intimidating and discouraging that the public does not have any trust in the system that is supposed to protect and serve them.
