As of today, Dangote Refinery is able to produce 30 million liters of PMS daily and has in storage about 245 million liters of pms. Within the last two weeks Dangote refinery has delivered more than 120 million liters of PMS to the Nigerian market

Obviously, it's more profitable when you import. But the issue of quality is paramount but the regulators are part of the importers.

Dangote’s PMS is “cheaper” than the imported dirty PMS. NNPCL subsidises the dirty PMS before selling to Nigerians.

Waow waow ……. The cabals and NNPCL company need to be jailed. How can we have millions of refined product sitting in Dangote’s refinery and some Nigerians are insisting on importing substandard fuel into our country. This should be on our front burner discussion. Why is Dr. Abati dismissing the discussion like that.

I think we need to set the record straight. If NNPC gives dangote crude, NNPC can off take PMS as swap. So why the claim that NNPC needs cash to settle dangote product supply?

NNPCL sells crude oil to Dangote at official price but collects money in Naira. They have to pay for PMS that they offtake from Dangote.
