In my humble opinion I think this is Danheim’s greatest work to date. ‘Kala’ is a masterpiece in its truest sense. It has the ability to take us Scandinavians and Icelanders back to our ancestors while we listen. Skål! 🇩🇰⚔️🍻

Yes and no. I recognize the last shot. That's predikstolen/preikestolen I've been there and its flooded with tourists and all the trash that tourists bring. I wonder how they got a shot without all the people in. They must have gone in late autumn or even winter on a very rainy day to have gotten a shot without other tourists in the background.

It's in our blood to go into the wild and create something for ourselves. It's what the old northmen excelled at and it's what we still yearn for. The times a viking ship left port to settle an unknown land cannot be counted. Those men wanted to create a place all their own out of absolutely nothing. During a meditation once. I heard the word KALA overwhelmingly loud in my mind. . It was a few weeks before I researched more into this word. Kala in Hawaiian means Sarah, my name. . . Memories of what once was, & what still is inside...

It is so strange that i as a swede always react to Danheim as if the music makes some deep part of me feel like this is a part of me and it flows in my blood.
