My confidence in City board has been shaky since last summer’s poor strategy and execution - from wasting so much time on Gvardiol for optics to save a few million pounds which took their eye off the ball for a Bellingham alt (since Rice wasn't going to come) to letting Gundo leave while keeping Walker and then selling 28GA Mahrez and not even coming close to replacing the GA lost from Gundo and Mahrez [45GA]). But now that it’s nearly mid July and nothing of note, that shaky confidence is rapidly becoming a concern/worry. I can see City letting Ederson go late in the window for 40m euros then scrambling for a #2 or maybe a #1 and nickel & diming RBL for Olmo for the rest of the summer, all the while not addressing our most issue: suitable Rodri cover which could be easily done with arguably one of the best utility players in Kimmich. I am praying I am dead wrong

@@chibifirestorm 100% IF the idea was that Kova was going to be a Gundo replacement. To your point, whomever thought that, is clearly a fool. But if Kova was simply there as a pivot with Rodri and squad player, im okay with it. Still doesn't excuse the board's poor performance over the summer. Ps. With the departures of Gundo and Mahrez, we lost 45GA and then KDB out 1/2 year was an additional 20GA for a total of 65GA deficit. Why would City then not bring in anyone of note who had experience and who could create and score? On top of that, they then sell Palmer, making our already small and depleted team even weaker (relative to the treble team). Make it make sense!! lol

Spot on mate, rivals club like United have been active in the market and sealed Zrkzee and de ligt deal, and many more deals will be completed asap along with a re-haul of the staff too, we seem to be snoozing in this market, with rivals upgrading every second we need to act fast or else this time we will end up trophyless, last season was not that great tbh, should have won the FA cup and UCL as well we had a team strong enough to win, imagine this season with rivals upgrading we need to upgrade too. We still have not found a clutch replacement for Maharez and Gundo.

Last window,: Gvardiol and Doku are quality and throw in Alvarez ... these are good transfers. Paqueta was incoming but events turned out otherwise, unlucky. This window feels "different". Trust the process.

🚨🚨 Breaking... 👉 City have been in conversation with fan groups like the 1894 people and City Matters over the configuration of the expansion. Working hypothesis is seat holders will be guaranteed seats, especially in the first tier. Plans likely to be to make the second tier the new Kippax. Possibly with more safe standing - rail-seating., section for 18-25's.
