Bible Prophecy is something that is often misunderstood but need not be so. Norman NcNulty will lead an exciting series in ‘Daniel and the Time of the End’ and will cover topics that require us to dig deep into the word.

Although I don't doubt Bro McNulty's sincerity, there is a lot of "I believe" it is this and "I believe" that it is that in his interpretation of Daniel 11 particularly the latter verses. The bible has to interpret itself rather than trying to fit a given or perceived scenario of the end times into the bible.
Place names in Daniel's prophecies (such as the King of the North, etc) being fulfilled after the cross (when "Israel" expands to take in gentile peoples, as per the olive tree in Romans 11) ought to be read symbolically. Revelation 11: 8-9 gives us the clue for doing this: "8 And their dead bodies will lie in the street of the great city which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified. 9 Then those from the peoples, tribes, tongues, and nations will see their dead bodies three-and-a-half days, and not allow their dead bodies to be put into graves." Three places referred to here: Sodom, Egypt and Jerusalem, ["which spiritually (symbolically) is called....."] are to be interpreted symbolically.
Psa 138:7 Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me. Isa 11:16 And there shall be an highway for the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria; like as it was to Israel in the day that he came up out of the land of Egypt. At the final scenes many will see the Light, and the Truth found in it, and will join GOD'S faithful Remnant like a brand plucked from the fire. This is why we are to give the warning message with love.
And then there is the understanding in Uriah Smith " Daniel &Revelation" . From that it can be seen that the third woe (yet to happen) will come from the restored Otterman caliphate . And that is why Jesus stands up.
Daniel chapter 11 ~ before the cross and jugdments in 70 A.D. on "thy holy city" is interpreted as being literal, but it is interpreted spiritually after the cross and the 70 A.D. judgment on Jerusalem (from verse 29 through to verse 45.)
Joe 2:32 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.
The BEST sermon on Daniel 11 I have ever heard , McNulty has it figured out .... and I also think you need to show the slides in the video (as cinthijohns commented).... BUT , thank you , I think you have it figured out better than anyone I have ever heard preach on that topic .... The king of the South is Egypt and the king of the north is Syria throughout Daniel 11. The problem with Historicism is that it reads too much into the text which is not there. Historicist interpreters like the SDA pioneers tended to think that some of these prophecies applied to their times, when they may not have done so.

White the Founder of Adventism If Ellen White hadn't come along with the idolization of the Sabbath day, basically only Christ-rejecting orthodox Jews would be keeping the Sabbath, something that the Lord Jesus Christ never commanded under the New Covenant. Amazingly, Ellen White convinced millions of people to keep an abrogated Hebrew ritual law instead of commemorating the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ from the dead on the first day of the week, something Christendom has done for most of its existence. How did she pull this off? At first there were only a few members in her religious sect, but followers later on who believed in her "visions" and "revelations," made a business selling books with her ideas and doctrines. Ellen White and her husband were alleged to be petty swindlers for selling her visions at camp meetings and through the mail. Her husband said in a letter, "There is much profit left in our pens." Her main emphasis was that her followers keep the Sabbath day. She convinced them that it was the "seal of God " and the heart of the moral law. She was wrong because in the New Testament the Holy Spirit is the seal of God, and love is the heart of the moral law. Other heresies that she invented are; soul sleeping, no meat eating, the investigative judgment, no hell, and the erroneous view of biblical prophecy concerning the United States, Sunday laws and the mark of the beast. Thinking that they're in the "remnant church" and thus not taking the mark of the beast, it is said that this psychological pull makes it difficult for some people to leave 7th Day Adventism.
Michael is another name of Christ. Often when Michael is mentioned he has traits that only Christ has. This isn't some obscure view. Many reformers thought the same thing

So thats why in Revelation 12 its Michael leading His angels against Satan an his angels. He, Michael is cheif or captain of the armies of heaven. Next in Joshua 5:14, though not mentioned by name, we see the Captain of the Lord's host appears to Joshua and he (Joshua) worships him (the Captain of the Lord's host). Finally (though there is more evidence) 1 Ths 4:16 says when Christ returns He will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of " THE Archangel" Christ is THE Archangel, Christ is Captain of the Lord's Host who deserves worship, Christ is Michael who in the end will stand for His people (Dan 12:1).
And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for *a time and times and half a time* from the face of the serpent. {Revelation 12:14} A time = 360 Times = 720 The dividing of time =180. = 1,260 prophetic days = 1,260 years. Or... it is that Knowledge is increased so..that His people have understanding that our conscience IS purged from dead works; Heb.9:14 starting in 1844 at the end of the 2300 days, because the word cleansed in Daniel 8:14 actually is righteousness.
This is a great presentation. However, so much detail and analysis packed into one hour makes it very hard to grasp. This same message presented in two hours and with slides or PP would have been so much easier for me to absorb.

For the ships of Chittim shall come against him: therefore he shall be grieved, and return, and *have indignation against the holy covenant* so shall he do; he shall even return, and *have intelligence with them that forsake the holy covenant* And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute *the sanctuary of strength* [Heb 8, the heavenly sanctuary] and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate. And *such as do wickedly against the covenant* shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits. And they that understand among the people shall instruct many: yet they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity, and by spoil, many days. (Forty two months / a thousand two hundred and threescore days = years) Now when they shall fall, they shall be holpen with a little help: but many shall cleave to them with flatteries. And some of them of understanding shall fall, to try them, and to purge, and to make them white, even to *the time of the end* because it is yet for a time appointed. {Daniel 11:29-35}
I have a problem with the logic from around the 27:50 spot. "The Papacy will make a come back" and he says that "Ellen White says that there will be a unity between church and state". My first thought is "church and state." Since the lamb like beast we know to be fallen Protestantism, then it would stand to reason that the state here is the USA states, not Rome. Secondly, Ellen White focuses on the fallen protestant churches as doing the persecution, not the Papacy. I saw that the two-horned beast had a dragon’s mouth, and that his power was in his head, and that the decree would go out of his mouth. Then I saw the Mother of Harlots; that the mother was not the daughters, but separate and distinct from them. She has had her day, "and it is past," and her daughters, the Protestant sects, were the next to come on the stage and act out the same mind that the mother had when she persecuted the saints. I saw that as the mother has been declining in power, the daughters had been growing, and soon "they will exercise the power once exercised by the mother." SPM 1.4 When we look at the first 5 beast, in Revelation, it says 5 are fallen. That 5th one is the Papacy. Yes she has the deadly wound and lived, as we see the church still has continued on despite her power being removed but we want to revive her, for some reason, and place her back on the throne of prophecy and disregard the Lamb like beast that will speak as a dragon. There is so much more I could say but let's not rearrange the prophecy to meet our interpretations.

satan appearing as christ in verses 40-45 is not mentioned listen to ivor myers. he has some amazing insights into this prophecy. satan's impersonation of christ will deceive many adventists.
Daniel IS THE PROPHET, REVELATION HAS THE KEYS TO UNLOCK DANIEL. REVELATION 13 IS MOST OF THE HISTORY OF DANIEL 11:40-45 , REMBER THIS HISTORY IS FROM 1798 TO THE CLOSE OF PROBATION , THE KEY PLAYERS IN THIS HISTORY ARE THE CATHOLIC CHURCH, AMERICA AND SPIRITUALISM .
We should always interpret things literally first. Many real places like Mount Zion, Libya and Ethiopia, Edom, Moab, and the Children of Ammon should be interpreted as those literal places. In our current day, 2024, we are seeing literal attacks on Jerualem, and the kingdom of Jordan, which is the place for Edom, Moab, and Ammon were, is not in the conflict. When Donald Trump put the United States' embassy in Jerusalem, he planted the tabernacle of his palace in the glorious land. These prophecies will play pit in the context of the Middle East, and we need to see that and recognize the events taking place now are fuldilling them. While I agree with most of the donclusions, I disagree on the specific players he is stating. The person who will come to his fall and not rise up is the president of the United States, and then after the US falls, the time of trouble starts. Also see Jeremiah 25. The kings of the nirth shall destroy each other after Iran or Elam gets in a war with Israel. We have to be prepared for the US to fall. When the US put an embassy in Jerusalem, it identified itself as the king of the north, and it will come to its end, and none shall help him.

So much error in this video to confuse people further. If you do not use a set of rules that were given (William Millers Rules) and you use the method of Origen as to your interpretation then you will have as many interpretations as there are men! You would not play a game of tennis if one player went by the singles rules and the other played by the doubles rules it would not work, same with the Holy Bible. Use Millers rules please so that we can give the 3rd angels message.
