Daniel Adair is the cutest person ever. I just LOVE seeing him up there having a blast. Its so great. Nickelback always puts on a great fun show. Love those guys.
I was there and that moment was just INSANE! It was so loud it was beating within you. Coolest thing I have ever felt. Not just hearing music but feeling it. Couldnt talk for days.
It's supposed to be simple! Nickleback isnt supposed to sound like animals as leaders or ABR. Are you inferring that The Beatles, or Van Halen, etc.. are bad because they only play in 4/4? Don't get me wrong, I love complex time sigs so much, but there's a time and a place for everything. Why is every single AC/DC drum beat the same exact? Because it works!
Really. Maybe take a listen to some of their other songs like Lullaby, or Kiss it Goodbye, Stand together, I could go on but they're sound is ever changing and I'm proud of the boys from Alberta. They're taking your words with a grain of salt, don't mean much. It sucks to hear such talent and drive spoken about harshly, what gives?
@NitrodrumlineKC And as far as guitar. Look up animals as leaders, djent bands, mathcore, August burns red, Miss may I, Graham Stookey, Tosin Abasi. Those artists show real emotion and good writing in guitar. And in my opinion, August burns red is the most technical metalcore band, not just with time signatures and tempos, but with their note groupings and diversity. Just come on how easy is it to strum some simple power chords in 4/4 the whole time without changing tempo
@NitrodrumlineKC I'm saying the drummer puts a really good amount of talent and effort in his drumming. But as for chad and the guitarist I would argue differently. So lyrics about sex and getting high and the occasional cliched love song are talent and effort in lyrics. And playing almost only power chord progressions in simple 4/4 time sig is talent on guitar. Look up The devil wears prada or Arcade fire. Even though those are two seperate genres, they require deep thought to interpret lyrics.
@homesnakegabe dude.....i used to love TRAVIS barkers drumming... but once he started playing one drum beat for everything, and stopped showing any enjoyment for his music, i stopped too
+I like Muffins in some video some chick threw it up on stage and Chad started to put it up on his mic stand then decided to put it on the drum set. Then later on in the show Chad notice when the pyro went off the left breast got burnt and put a hole in it
+Todd Delong i think you meant to say "and y ISNT there a bra right there" Every Nickelback show Ive been to, theres been girls throwing bras and panties. Its all good fun. :)
