Okay, I love Daniel Avery. His music is very dear to me. And this mix is great!! However, I will say that this video makes it painfully apparent that DJ's aren't doing shit when they touch those knobs. Just watch!! He barely moves them! I mean, I get it, it's awkward to stand around doing nothing while a song is playing. Pretty funny cultural phenomenon though. Regardless, great job Daniel!! This music is helping me write an application to a PhD program.
Ok so you put in hours of pre thought, planning and probably years of experience to write your phd, yes? I read your phd you aren't doing shit. Great djs hide their skill well. Not many can do the seminal experiences this guy is regularly kicking out, just enjoy without degrading a joyful industry 😉
@@stu4kay Sorry if my comment pissed you off. I love Daniel's music and his mix. I just think DJ'ing is a funny form of performance. It comes with the territory of electronic music production. No disrespect to Daniel intended.
@@ianterry706 no all good didn't piss me off. Just different views which is fine. I just see this mix as a very well thought out pre planned mix. Don't think he would do this at a club. I see as a guy who obviously knows his music giving us a wicked mix tape. No over the top knob wobbling required. Sincerely good luck with you phd.!
A lot of his tweaks are finely adjusting the eqs on the cueing track which you’ll never hear in the mix but are infinitely important if you have a good ear
