DANIEL BOONE ON THE BIG SANDY (Part 2) 

In Part 2 of our Daniel Boone series, we discuss his return trips to the Big Sandy River Valley to explore, hunt, and to visit old friends. We also tell about how he helped one family start the first settlement in Pike County and about an old map that documents his time here. In these two videos we have taken you from his first visit through what is today’s Breaks Interstate Park in 1767 to his final departure from the valley in 1796.
