It makes me sad that we won't see him fight again I appreciate all the DC fights they were some of my favorites wether he won/lost. But atleast will see him be a commentator & he's one of the best at it.
You will be known as a great man whom has morals and a Constitution,, you are a rare find ,,,,,,,,, DC. PEOPLE LIKE YOU NEED A LARGE FAMILY to bring back good people and commonsense
DC is one of my favorites of all time. I was fortunate enough to see him fight live multiple times from bullying Hendo, his first fight with Jones, to later winning the vacant title vs Rumble, and then winning against Stipe. If this is the end, I'm sad to see him retire but it was a good run. One of the best!
WOW! I never got the opportunity to see him compete live, although, plans were made,to travel and watch Stipe/DC 3, but OF COURSE, Covid hit,and robbed my daughter and I of that opportunity. Your 100 percent right! He is a class act in every way possible
@@captainbuzzkill4658 so and others have fought clean and beat people who have juiced. Why is jones the only person like a God on the juice? If jucing is what makes a person it should make everyone who juices better. Also, finishing is irrlevant. He has already proven what he can do he has notjing to prove he can win fights multiple ways
Hugh Hefner Clean fighter’s have taken Jones to close decisions. Just imagine if they were on steroids. They’d kill him. That’s like saying Brock Lesnar was UFC champion because he was skilled. Yeah he was pretty good for a guy who started MMA late in life but he didn’t win the belt with skill. He won because he was pumped full of rocket fuel. Why is it baseball players get their records removed if they’re caught using but in combat sports, where it matters most, people turn a blind eye. Doesn’t make sense to me.
DC is a class act! Make fun of him crying all u want, just SHOWS his love for competition!! Thanks for all your professionalism, in and outside of the cage!!
First class dude fist class example thank you for all the great fights. Daniel is and will be always be the Champ Champ not just in the ring but in life.
5’11 with a reach disadvantage became two weight world UFC champion and has been at the top in every organisation he’s been. DC is an accomplished man.
Much respect to DC, one of the very best to ever put on the gloves without a doubt and a legend of the sport. Tested for 20 years with no doubt at all, there are very few fighters alive ever that can compete with DC at his best. In terms of pure skill Jones vs DC is the very best the UFC has done
Never liked DC don't like his attitude very condescending and he's a sore loser he always likes and cries all the time what man cries in the Octagon there's no crying in the octagon Wyndmoor PA
Daniel the most humble and genuine person in mma. Truly a blessing watching you fight and your character is bar none the best in ufc!!! Love hearing you
What a pathetic person Ariel. He spoke with DC about one eye poke for about half a hour but when DC poked Stipe and sent him to surgery he was making fun about 12 DC eye pokes. DC didn’t even know which eye was it 😂this is how serious he was poked. Ariel was upset when DC said Stipe need time to recover from last fight because he wants Stipe to fight as soon as possible so he has less chance to win. He would be beaten up by any 14 year old boy.
@@terrylobos673 just because i said he looked like a bloated mayweather doesn't mean im disrespecting dc. You are an idiot for even thinking about that
Real World Champions donot cry then come back and do it again!! and against Stipe u lost 49-46....might have one only that 1 st round which was too close even...
Crazy to think this man has been booed so much.. he may not be the MMA GOAT, but he's certainly great and one of the best to ever do it. So happy he's still gonna be around the sport. God bless you, DC. Thanks for all the entertainment and life lessons you've given us!
We all know that the UFC favors DC for some questionable reasons. Even do they attempt to set DC for a HW belt didn’t came to reality because of Stipe. Same with Jones. As much we like DC he never defended a title more that 2 times consecutively.
Don't retire yet Daniel, stay and ask for a Jon Jones heavyweight fight to Dana. It's worth a shot, Dana might give it you since Miocic will be fighting Ngannou next. If Dana give it a go, watch Jon Jones temporarily retire again because there's no way he would go back to light heavy again to fight Reyes. He's only going back there if Reyes is already defeated by someone or he is no longer required to fight Reyes by Dana. If he decides to fight you then more money for you plus you have absolutely nothing to lose now. But you will see that he if Dana give it a go, Jon will temporarily retire again.
DC it sad to see you loose it's because you didn't use your skills of wrestling which you have been learning and mastering it since you were a young boy. Ofcourse you have good boxing skills too but you should have mixed it up instead of only trying to punch him.
Man has nothing to apologise for. Great man and great fighter. Will potentially bring more to MMA after his career than he did during it. Amazing commentary and amazing fighter.
DC tarnished his legacy a bit chasing fighting Jones a second time and trying to chase Lesnar. Should of done the trilogy with Gusstafson at light heavyweight and Miocic at heavyweight. Win or lose if he did that he would of looked way better than he does now.
This dude is just a great human, in a sport where you could be a disrespectful piece of garbage. Congrats on a great career and thanks for fighting the good fight for our entertainment DC.
man i wish i didnt spend so much time disliking him, i never even had a reason to dislike him lol he was just the adversary to my favorite fighter at the time Jon Jones and that made me dislike him, and i didnt really cheer for him until he moved up to heavyweight and now hes one of my favorite fights...we're all gonna miss you DC you're incredible
let me ask everyone something. Stipe for some reason has been overlooked or underestimated by analysts and others for years now. even after beating Francis .do you think Stipe will get his do respect if he beats Francis again then JJ? will he seriously be looked at as the best heavy weight fighter of all time? or maybe the best fight of all time?
Maybe it's just me but I hear someone who is being forced to say this right now. I think he's going to fight again, too competitive of a person to call it quits after a loss. I think he'll retire after a win and not necessarily a title fight.
Dana keeps saying it if you begin to talk about retirement then it is time, you accomplished what you did, great things, now it is time, and if you ever decide to come back then you should get on the back on the line to be fair to the other fighters
