Khabib is the best IMO because he changed the game. He bring something new to the game which will be studied and simulated by the next generation of fighters. The way Khabib utilize the fence to his advantage for example, a place which usually used to defend takedown. With Khabib there's no save place in the cage, whether you're in the middle or against the cage, he can take you down, he have the advantage everywhere. The way he wrap his opponent legs, top control, etc. And really what makes athlete the GOAT is not only because of their achievement or legacy in the sport they're in, but the legacy outside. How much they affect or inspired peoples lives, how much they help the society. They can't be called the GOAT just because they're an excellent athlete, because what happened in the cage/ring/field/whatever, is too small to be compared to the real world outside. They have to have a bigger impact in the world to be called the GOAT.

khabib dominated every fights. He talks during fights. He never got bruises or blood spill and never lost throughout his career. That’s why he is the GOAT

The best thing that differentiates him would be he handelled success in a way that no one else was able to do. Retired at the peak of his career. Still humble, still passionate. Simply the GOAT.

I also consider Khabib the BEST fighter of all time. I've never seen a fighter dominate top top talents in the way he does however it's hard to call him the goat over the likes of GSP due to resume. Best fighter of all time but maybe not the goat imho. (FYI guys like Jones should be automatically disregarded due to steroid abuse)

Even I think Khabib is the GOAT by a mile. Yeah, many people will say "Jon Jones this" or "Jon Jones that"....yeah, you forgot how many times Jon Jones face was rearranged by his opponents, not to mention the first fight against Gustafsson where he almost lost, but the eye poke and the elbow strikes in the end saved him, not to mention the roids used in many of his fights, not to mention his life outside of the octagon, which is a disgrace and complete opposite of Khabib's life. I think all of these should count when defining the GOAT of the sport. For me, Khabib's achievements are something I only dreamed of before, It's like you could only see this in movies. There's never been a fighter before, so legendary that would retire undefeated, at a young age, with a perfectly good health, with a lot of money, a good reputation outside his career, and to have the same success as a coach, breeding new champions from his camp, not to mention that he has his own MMA company now. I don't know another legendary fighter that has achieved these things.

GSP is the goat, Khabib was fighting BUMS in his fathers fighting organization for his first 16 fights. Some of the people who he was fighting were LEGIT 1-4, 2-6, everyone can look up the records of his first 16 fights. EVERY fighter on that list was either even or had a negative record

Personally I think GSP is the GOAT, he was one of the first fighters to mix up his martial arts. He started with karate and was a very good striker and was one of the most dominant wrestlers ever with his ground and pound and pressure from the top. Khabib was TNE most dominate wrestler of all time but his stand up wasn't as good, mainly cuz it didn't have to b. If GSP is number 1 in my books, khabib is number 1b.
