I absolutely love listening to DC break down fights.. I used to get a bad vibe when it came to him calling his teammates fights.. but all that has changed. I appreciate ya big dog! Much respect brother
Stop spreading around the narrative that IZZY had a crazy schedule; since he become Champion he fought twice a year like almost every other UFC champ out there. >>>> 2019 (interim+unification) 2 fights Gastelum & Whittaker 2020 Romero & Costa 2021 Blachowicz & Vettori 2022 Cannonier & Pereira &Whittaker2 2023 Pereira & Strickland Crazy Schedule my ASS!!!! Just regular average number of fights per year.
that's 10 title fights you listed, plus you didn't mention the 2nd Whittaker fight which would make it 11 consecutive title fights.. combine that with the responsibilities and obligations you have as a UFC champion, that is a crazy schedule... would've been much easier to just say you hate Izzy
@@DynastyIcon i hate the false narrative around Izzy , for example Pereira had a crazy schedule since he won the title, he fought 3 times per year and has the chance of fighting 3 in 2024, all the other bs about pressure and stuff all weak excuses, he's no more under pressure than any other champion
I like DDP but have a feeling Israel might drop him similar to the first Whitaker fight. If he comes barreling in which is entirely possible, watch out for the counter puncher. Obviously DDP should close the distance and try to keep them on the ground
Agreed Strickland is the only one with the skillset to apply constant pressure against izzy. DDP eats jabs an will have to walk through some shots to fire back or get a td.
I watched Dricus come up fight after fight and how he managed to win some of those were bizarre. I still feel today thats he is lucky to be in his position and not truly skill based. People need to go back and watch the climb for a reminder. In the fight with Rob, the first round rob was touching him and Dricus appeared at a loss on what to do. Obviously he caught rob with a shot and thats the reality of MMA, anything can happen. As far as watching Dricus fight for fight he was never a top prospect, it was ugly and not clean.
Can this guy go 1 interview without talking about his own ‘career’ Dan.. the only times you fought the _real_ champs, you lost 4/5 of them. You got smoked by Jones twice and by Stipe twice. Stop the nonstop cap
