Because the fans watch the jones dc fight like it happened last Saturday instead of it being almost 7 years ago. Jones and dc and moved on but the fans haven’t so they keep rubbing it in dcs face. Dc is such a nice person who lost to the better man. The fans take that and run with it and make fun of dc for it. I like dc a lot and will always be a fan 😊
People don’t even acknowledge how impressive DC’s performance against Jones was considering the height and reach difference, and not in his true weight class. It’s not cope it’s just facts DC literally had every physical disadvantage coming into that fight

Think they should have an off camera talk, a long talk on how the beef started, why it got out of hand and the current issues they have and if there can be a friendship moving forward

@mac4730 and FYI it's not so much about the amount he had right before or during the fight. It's mainly about the advantages he was able to gain with strength & recovery to train longer & harder in preparation for his fight. 99% of people aren't aware of this or simply don't understand this so when they hear "Oh the amount in his system gives no advantage." It's because he already gained his advantages ahead of time. Love Jones/hate Jones. Love DC/hate DC. It doesn't change the undeniable facts. Jones cheated. Some fighters are confident enough in their own ability's that they don't risk their career, reputation or sponsors by taking PED's. GSP is a great example of this. Obviously if Jon truly felt he was the best & was 100% confident in his own ability's he wouldn't have risked his career & destroyed his reputation by failing test on multiple occasions.

The UFC is only about making money. They could care less about Aljo at the time or his feelings of wanting time off to rest and enjoy a bit of the fruits of his labor. All UFC knew and cared about is that the next money fight was Sterling vs O’Malley. And if O’Malley won, which he did, it would be huge for the UFC. I guarantee you the UFC will definitely care and protect O’Malley. Why? Because he brings MONEY!!

The Aljo situation...my thoughts: Look, we all know that Aljo should have never been champion. He fought terribly against Yan, and he no doubt acted his way to the belt. There was no brain bleed, concussion, etc. It was exaggerated. However, Aljo earned the title, and went on to be a great bantamweight champion. I f you look at the situation it was apparent that the UFC heavily pressured Aljo to fight O' Malley, a guy they were pushing hard, 3 months later. Aljo had been a very active champion, but he wanted just a bit more time. But the UFC pressured and got their way, and they got their guy to get the belt. O' Malley may have had a hurt rib, but he had nearly a year to mentally wrap his head around that fight, and he was probably training for it well before it was signed. Dana White simply flipped the narrative in his favor by saying it's up to the fighters to decide who wins. That's gaslighting. They pressured Aljo into taking a fight he wasn't read for, and they attempted to gaslight us into thinking it was all up to Sterling, and it was a fair situation. It wasn't.
Aljo nurmagomedov aka the human backpack has grown to be one of my favorite fighters.. he just needs to just keep fighting and keep winning. Everything will fall into place.

I was Daniel Cormier biggest fan all the way from his wrestling days to UFC but he is such a baby. Way too emotionally fragile. For Jon Jones his DC fights have no special significance. They were just fights and meant no more to him than his other fights but DC is so hung up on those fights it's ridiculous. It's 10 years ago! Get over it man! They couldn’t be more different. DC is a family man who really seems to take the example he’s setting for young people seriously. Jones is a stellar athlete, but has all the integrity of a closeted televangelist.

Regarding Aljo, at the end we are responsible for our actions; it is very easy to think we are the victim and everybody is against us. Hunter is a phenomenal gas lighter. Perfect for his job. But it sucks to see him manipulate the fighters that make you guys money. I get it’s a business but it’s become so obvious recently how the ufc treats certain guys favourably and then does nothing for others.

I love the clip when John comes back and wins the interim belt then flips dc off when he is leaving 😂 sucks I wasn’t watching ufc at that time and I missed all that but I have done my research and know everything about it.
Please have a coffee with Jon and I’ve always been a big Aljo fan and it sucked seeing him lose to Sean and to see him in that state before the fight was kind of sad to see, I’m glad they showed it though because it makes the fighter seem more human to us
