Stephen wants to know why anyone would give James Bond another car since he's constantly wrecking them. But Daniel Craig reveals that "Spectre" actually addresses that very issue.
+JackBauer137 I loved Jack Bauer man, damn! Even the latest half season in England was awesome! Michelle Fairly (spelling?) was so incredible in that one too!it almost had me in tears a few times haha
+Organized Chaos Productions : I think it's because it still has the "video look". They probably shot the movie digitally, but then converted it to look more film-like. I heard this scene didn't make it into the final cut of the film, so they probably didn't bother converting it, thus it still has that "real" quality inherent to video.
This sketch really showcases what a fantastic improviser and actor Stephen is. He's fully committed to the silliness of the bit, just like they did at Second City.
@2:40 Daniel Craig as James Bond: "Give...me...a car!" [breaks character by laughing] This was great! Never knew that Daniel had such a good sense of humor!
"Is there any more to that name? Maybe like a name?" was hilarious. Either the audience didn't hear the whole joke or they just didn't get it, but I was cracking up at that.
You know, considering the average driving ability of an Italian driver, Bond's accidents should not have been too surprising to the Roman car rental company.
It's not the ability. Most Italian are very able. Problem: they care not for rules, logic and physics, so they just steamroll through anything, while honking and destroying the car.
@@sonalidasgupta3562 they tend to get into bends at a rather high speed, ignoring that friction has a limit and the faster you go the less margin you have until you end up in a tree. Or they brake when they lose control of the car, making the car unable to regain traction and pull out. Rhere are other examples too
+fairfeatherfiend they still use them alot because they are the only printers that work with those precepts where it makes a carbon copy when you write on it.
I too am here after No Time to Die and this is hilarious and showcases Daniel’s humorous side. He delivers the lines about why the car came back damaged and then said he returned it with a full tank of gas.
actually the sketch Daniel did on snl as a space captain was pretty effing funny, and the one about the brits in the pub losing all their jobs wasn't bad either
+The Contrarian Absolutely not true. '86-'93 just got better and better all the time - Carvey, Meyers. Hartman, Spade, Farley, etc., days of titans and comedy gold.
This is hilarious! I always knew that Daniel is an amazing actor but I didn't know that he's so good in comedy. He should make more like this! Funny Bond-this made my day!
Why do all of you think these sketches on Late Night shows are about competition?? It's all for entertainment purposes, that's all late night shows are all about
Competition??? Where in what I wrote did you infer that I was a referring to a competition??? I don't even watch late night TV that much. I just made an observation. You're reading way too much into what I wrote...get a life dude.......LOL!!!!!!!!!!!
"We all have things to do." I like how Stephen makes sure his moustache is staying on. With all that passionate not quite kissing, they now have the same Covid status. (negative) That vest really did hold up well.
Here's a bit of trivia - the reason they still use dot matrix printers for printing forms like that is because it transfers the ink to the paper through an impact on a ribbon of ink. The impact transfers the printing to the other copies. If they used a laser or ink jet printer, there wouldn't be any force to transfer the printing to the carbon copies.
To answer the clerks last question: Those fanfold printers have the lowest risk of paper jams, and those needle printers enjoy the cheapest ink that doesn't fade on the receipt. But they are also slow and require recycling the cut off edges.
This was posted 5 years ago. How many subscribers you had back then? Any regrets that you used your channel's account to comment on Stephen Colbert's you tube channel?
Is it just me or does Craig have some facial similarities to Harrison Ford? Because that look he gave Colbert at the beginning was really reminding me of Ford.
I just saw this, after 4 years. It's hilarious! But also it's really interesting that they have the actual line exactly in No Time To Die! When the guard identifies him. He says it the exact same way. I found it hilarious there, and now here. 😄
Man, I was surprised to hear the sound effect of a dot-matrix printer, I was certain it was not thought out, but the sign of the commitment to that was to provide Stephen with a real dot-matrix print-out. Big thumbs up to the folks at TLLSwSC for that. :-D
Such a shame he doesn't like Bond anymore. I can't think of anyone who could fill his shoes as 007. Hopefully he'll come back and under a good director
