We all new he wasn't that top 5 level guy that everyone was saying he was but zhang is considered a slow heavyweight and is 40 years old he tires in the back end of a fight but I don't think joe really sticks to a game plan. Dont get me wrong he is a tough strong guy but not much of a iq When he's in the ring I feel like even tho he beat dubois I feel dubois has a better iq I feel like frank has give him fair match making tbh dubois as had a harder come up and zhang had the 1 loss when he fought him I think it's mad how dubois got a interim title shot from losing to usyk then getting shot against hrgovic that fast

@@boxingrelevance I mean everyone was saying he was top 5 because of the impressive wins, that's how it works lol. When he beat Dubois and Parker there was the perception of him being able to run through most of the heavyweights barring Fury, Usyk and Joshua so that sort of qualifies as top 5 on the eye test at least. Zhang at the time wasn't really on the map over here, then he got badly match made to fight him. That was a gamble due to overconfidence, coupled with an unawareness of Zhang's dangerous attributes. Now despite Zhang's flaws like the gas tank, he effectively took Joyce's place and cemented himself as a top 5 heavyweight arguably, until one of the top guys come along and expose him which will no doubt happen at some point. That kind of back to back beating that Joyce took though, at his age for sure took a lot out of him physically and psychologically, he looks way older than he did just 2 or 3 years ago, not to mention all the momentum he had got swept away.

@@boxingrelevance Joyce assumed he was going to batter the 40 year old in the first fight, in the 2nd fight he just couldn't implement the game plan and looked like a fish riding a bicycle.

Also poor management by Frank who decided to push Daniel because he was the younger fighter and matched Joe with Zhang instead of putting him on the path to fight for Usyks belts.

Sadly so was Frank Bruno and it hurts their killer instinct. Bruno would have been a destroyer if he had that angry heart like Tyson did (back in the day). Same with joe, just feel he's just a really lovely, big strong tough guy but doesn't show the grit to win (like the greats)
